I was lucky to get these form the BR beauty vault. It's no secret to anyone that I'm a keen consumer of vitamin supplements, and am aware of the importance of B group vitamins. I was particularly interested to purchase these as, at the time of getting them, I was trying (again) to be vegetarian and was worried about getting sufficient B12. And having sufficient B vitamins I supposed to help with energy production.
Well, I can't say I've noticed very much. But to be fair, it's one of a type of supplement that I would rely on to be doing great things that can't be seen. I'm not suffering the ill effects usually associated with reduced B12, like major fatigue, pins and needles, dizziness or pallid complexion, so maybe it's helping with that. And my mood has been as stable as it can ever be, so maybe it's helping with that too.
The product claim is to assist energy production and support the adrenal glands during times of stress. I haven't been too stressed during the time I've been taking these, being relatively used to stress at the best of times, so they weren't truly tested on that front. I have felt pretty good for the past two months though and I don't always feel well for extended periods, so they may be helping, but it's hard to judge when the results aren't really something you'd expect to be able to actually see. They certainly haven't harmed me :)
I'd like to offer a recommendation either way, but I can't unfortunately.
I was lucky enough to secure these in my BR beauty vault too. I am personally happy with them. I’d been under more stress at work and it’s for that reason I wanted to try these as I felt like giving anything a go that might perhaps give me a bit of additional support during a stressful period. I do think they help. Not to superhuman proportions or anything unrealistic like that - I think you are going to be disappointed if you buy supplements and expect them to change your life in miraculous ways! They work best if you know your diet is lacking in something. Also, you need to be very careful when taking supplements, because if you take too many of them, then some can cancel the others out. Or you might inadvertently take too much of one supplement and receive unwanted side effects. Just because something is available over-the-counter, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do your research first...
I knew my diet was lacking in B6, which is another reason I felt these would be beneficial to me. I also had recommendations, from friends, family and - perhaps somewhat more importantly - my GP, that a B vitamin formula might be beneficial to me.
I have definitely noticed a slight increase in my energy levels and less fatigue, so I am happy with them. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 kisses is that I can’t really compare them to other brands currently on the market as I haven’t taken a super B formula in a long time. So without being able to compare them to anything currently, I am being considered in my overall score. I am giving them a solid four kisses. And thanks to the wonderful BR team for having these available through the vault at a time when I probably needed them the most...
Tips: Take them every day without fail before deciding on whether they work or not. Supplements need to be taken as per the instructions (in this case, once a day) for a decent period of time before you can ascertain whether they work for you or not... Taking them for two days and suddenly giving up on them is not a valid trial.
