I only own NYK jumbo pencil in Milk, but I really love this product for shadow primer to make my colours pop, bottom waterline and inner corner highlight. Cream-like based eye products seem to crease on me, but this one doesn't seem to crease that much on my eyelids at all, mainly because I only wear these jumbo pencils if I'm applying a bright eyeshadow on top or in the inner corner, but they still last. I rave about them so much my friends have started buying them!!

I own three of these pencils - milk, black bean and cottage cheese. I use cottage cheese as a very nice pigmented brown bone highlight. Milk I use as a base for eyeshadows and it works like a gem! Love these things and they are so affordable too.
I love how versatile it is! You can use it as an eyeliner, in the corners of the eyes, as an eyeshadow or even a shadow base/primer.
It’s also super cheap and affordable, and will last you such a long time, as they are jumbo/chunky crayons.
It’s really pigmented, and so soft! I always have issues with pencils and crayons as I have to drag them across my delicate, wrinkly eye area, but this one no tug or pull is necessary, it takes no energy at all.
I also like that the colour stays in place without any creasing. They do however need a little of a warm up before your first use. Scribbling on your hand before should do the job just fine. The lighter pencils also get dirty really fast around the tip, which is a bit annoying - but again just scribbling on your hand gets rid of it.
Something that annoys me is the tip however. It’s more difficult to use when it’s got a blunt end, and a tip is better to use. Because of it’s jumbo size, and the creaminess, it is difficult to sharpen as you end up just wasting it. It’s also breaks off easily, if you accidentally hit it or something, it will crumble and break off, and you will sit there crying so be careful.
I love these! I have a stack of these in my makeup caddy, all different shades and I find these are super handy to have! I love that they come in a huge range of colours and that the price is pretty affordable! My favourite by far is Milk which has cult status, and I love using this as an eyeshadow base over my eyelid primer. It just brightens up your eyes and makes any eyeshadow stand out and appear much more vivid! I love using it in my inner corner as well which just helps create a lovely glow to the eye. The only negative I find is that they are not 100% creaseless, they do crease over time so I wouldn't wear these on my own but they are amazing underneath your shadows. Go buy some now!
Tips: The price can vary where you purchase....Trademe, Cutie&Beautie;, BeautyJoint all sell these but the prices can vary, so shop around for the best deal! :)
Nyx Milk and Nyx black. It may seem monochrome but these will become staples for you once you've tried them! Nyx milk especially is the BEST eyeshadow base i've found to stop creasing and make your eyeshadows have the colour payoff that will make even the cheapest brands look like magic. I love using Nyx milk for bright multi coloured eye looks, especially with pinks and reds that would otherwise melt into my skin tone. And NYX Black is to-die-for under greys and golds. Nyx milk is also great in the waterline to help you look more awake and brighten up your eye area. The formula isn't perfect bu it is blendable and as a base does last a fairly long time. They're creamy but if you apply too much it will crease so use a light touch!
Tips: Less is more, if you put too much on it will crease, you want just enough to give you a sheer finish as your base!
I have the jumbo pencil in Milk and it is so good for so many different looks. I use it on it's own blended out with a slight crease shadow for a bright pop on the eyes. I use it in the waterline with a dramatic eye to really open the eye and make it look bright and awake OR I use it as a base for vibrant, rich colours to ensure they show their true beauty rather than be lost on my skin tone. The product is creamy and blendable but will slightly set after a few minutes which helps it stay all day! For the price, the formula and the staying power this is my holy grail creamy pencil product!
I have this in the shade Milk and I mainly use it either to line my waterline or to use as a base for my eyeshadows and aside from the fact that it can tend to crease on oily eyelids it works great and does the job. I wish the caps were a bit more sturdy though, mine broke and it just keeps pushing at the top of the pencil when I sharpen it... needless to say its a bit of a creamy mess. But anyway, good product if you want an affordable base!
Tips: Use primer if your lids get oily a lot
I went a bit nuts when purchasing NYX jumbo eye pencils - ended up with ten shades. They are so creamy, easy to blend and highly pigmented - I'm a brown girl and they show up beautifully on my skin. I actually depotted all my pencils so I didn't waste any of the product. You can use these pencils as cream shadows or liners - and use the lighter shades as highlighters - either on your brow or upper cheekbone. I really love this product and the best part is that they are cruelty free - will be purchasing more shades in this so definitely a beauty lovers staple/must have product. Highly recommend.
Tips: Depot the pencils so you get all the product out and zero wastage.
I have the Nyx jumbo eye pencil in Milk. Its a stark white and extremely pigmented. I got this because i had heard so many great things about it and heard it was amazing as a base.
I wanted this because i got the sleek matte V1 palette. Which is full of vibrant and bright colours. The problem with the palette was that it was very difficult to get the colours to show any pigmentation on my lids :(
I used the pencil in Milk as a base for my shadows and it makes a HUGE difference. I just smooth it out all over my lid and blend slightly. I then just pat the colours over the top and it makes them so much more vivid and vibrant.
The actual pencil is great. It has a thick/waxy feel to it. It is quiet tacky to the touch so its perfect for helping shadows stick/last longer. Once this is on it doesn't budge or wear off.
The one thing i don't like about this is the smell! It smells like weird chemicals and can be quiet off-putting to be honest. But with this the good definitely out weigh the bad.
This is such an amazing quality product for the price! I cant wait to buy more colours :)
This is a product which I purchased because of all of the hype which came with it! I had such high expectations for this product but I feel as though it wasn't half as good as what people were saying it was.
I have three shades and I just find them really hard to work with unless I prime my eyelids before - which for me defeats the purpose of even using them.
Tips: I find they work best if you warm them up first - scribble them on the back of your hand until the pencil becomes smooth. This provides a better application in my opinion
