The moisturiser does a job job at moisturising, BUT I cannot stand the smell! Initially I really liked the smell, it does actually smell good, BUT not as an every day moisturiser, I dont want to smell it every morning and I certainly don't want to smell it all day... I use it as a once every so often kind of moisturiser because of this, and my skin does feel good for the day when I use it. The texture of it is nice and it massages into the skin easily. If you can get passed the smell this is a good moisturiser :)

Tips: Block your nose?
iv read everyone else reviews and I must be the only person that doesn't like this product!!
it does smell fresh and the name totally drew me in (I love apple scent!) but I was quiet disappointed :((
the product is thick but it actually feels really light putting it on but that's all the good parts for me! I have normal skin type not dry and not oily but it just wouldn't rub in!! it sat on my face like glue and I could feel it sticky aaahhh was horrible i gave it a good go of 5 or 6 times and tried different ways putting less etc etc but this one just isn't for my skin kinda disappointing since it smells so good :( lol
While I'm a fan of Oasis products in general, their range of daily moisturisers I have never been able to get on with.
I found the formulation of this moisturiser too thick on my skin, slightly sticky after application and has a tendency to ball up when applying foundation over the top. I also found myself reaching for my night cream to boost my skins hydration as this moisturiser couldn't do the job. I do however like the scent of this moisturiser as well as the fact that it has SPF. Rather than using this product as my daily moisturiser I use it purely as a facial SPF when exercising outdoors or any time I'm in the sun without makeup on.
I bought some of this a couple of months back and used it every day until it was gone.
Packaging: I love the packaging as its slim and totally user friendly. The amount of product that came out was just right and I loved the handy pump at the top.
Formula: So the formula felt really nice and glided on really well. Soaked into my skin and since my skin is super duper dry, it just drank it up and I had to apply a second amount. It smelt divine and definitely smells like apples, yum.
Results: Because my skin is super dry, I felt that it didn't fully hydrate my skin as I would like, which is a shame as I had high hopes for this product as I have used their BB Cream.
Price: The price tag is a wee bit steep for me and based on the results, it totally wouldn't be worth it.
SO 3 stars from me based as its not as hydrating and also the price tag
I have combination skin and my cheeks are especially dry and dehydrated.
I like that my skin drinks this product up real quick. It doesn't have a greasy feel and nice and light weighted on skin. I personally prefer a higher SPF as my skin is starting to show signs of sun damage and I want to prevent further damage. The scent is very lovely, smells like apple juice which I quite enjoy when putting this product on!
I received this product as a sample size that lasted me a week, so I can't comment on whether or not it lightened my skin and my sun spots. I think I would probably need to test a full size over at least a month to see any results. Although I quite enjoyed the product, I don't think it is something I would like to repurchase, just because I have used other products that are more hydrating for my skin.
What a fantastic daily treat for the skin. Brightens each day with that beautiful fresh appley smell. Readily absorbed by the skin, leaving it feeling protected and nourished all day, without heaviness or greasiness - love it.
I first tried this as a free sample from oasis. I adored the smell but I didn't feel like it was quite moisterising enough for my dry skin. Anyway, when they had their sale on for a not quite right batch, I bought two bottles. They were marked down to $5 when the usual price is $50 so I really couldn't resist. The batch has the same ingredients but the texture and smell were not quite up to their usual standard. To me, both batches felt the same on my skin, the cheaper one was just more like a lotion in texture then the thick butter like consistency that the sample product had. The cheaper one still smelt good to me.
I've just used up the whole bottle. I use it just in the morning and use 3 pumps. I do my face, neck top of my chest and also rub the excess into my hands. It feels nice on my skin, not too greasy, and it absorbs quite fast. The bottle lasted me about 6 or 7 weeks which I think is quite reasonable. I love the packaging, it's a pump and as you use it, the product moves up so you don't waste a single drop. It always annoys me when there is a heap of product left in a tube and it's impossible to get to.
My skin feels really good after using this, it did feel moisterised but maybe for my super dry skin, not as moisterised as I would like. Overall, I do think this is a good product, it smells good, it's made in NZ and it has lots of great ingredients in it. I probably won't buy this one at full price but I would definitely use the same brand again, just a different product in their range. If you have normal skin, I would definitely say to give this a go. Oasis give you 3 free samples to try out so why not :)
The one thing my morning face moisturiser must have at least is an SPF, and after reading Binary Beauty's review on her blog I was sold (plus NZ made heck yeah!).
I like how its a pump action so I can limit what Im using and down the side of the bottle lets me see how much is left - super handy. Its a nice thin moisturiser which doesn't feel caked on my oily skin.
I haven't been sunburnt while outdoors, including during workouts when I sweat so this really does what it says to protect against the suns harmful rays.
Downside - I haven't noticed any fine lines reduced or brighter even skin tone, Its only been my first bottle so Im still on the fence if I continue using it for awhile longer or if I will try something new.
All in all, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin so would always know I could use this hassle free.
Anti Ageing, SPF 25' daily moisturiser, this is filled with anti ageing vitamins A,C and E, lighten and brighten. Made in New Zealand. Organic. Ok it's a cruelty free product, free of parabens, sulphates etc....a nice plastic pump bottle, 50mills, attractive package.
Well yes does smell like apples and to me reminds me of Granny Smith apples. A nice mid range lotion not buttery or runny, with a slight tint of green, it's easy to apply a couple of squirts of the pump and rub in gently of course. A little bit goes a long way. It doesn't go white like a sunblock can, I find it does dry ever so slightly tacky on me, but does not leave a greasy look, it does tend to sit on top of my skin so I do have to rub it in, it is moisturising and makes a lovely base to go ahead and apply BB, foundation or whatever you like do do next. For a light weight lotion it does moisturise and is lovely to use, Has not caused any redness or irritation at all it's a very nice moisturiser. I haven't found it's made my skin any brighter or evened out my skin tone. Price wise I feel it's value for money as it does last and does a good job.
I never seem to have much luck with Oasis skincare. This was another purchase that just did not work for me. First off I love the name....an apple a day! It comes in a squeezy tube which makes dispensing easy.
I have dry/sensitive skin on my face so I am very careful about what I put on it. It has quite a thick consistency. When I applied it I got a slight stinging sensation but it did not turn into a rash.
Unfortunately it just felt horrible on my face. It's far too heavy and I feel like my skin can't breath, we all know what happens then....pimples galore! So for me it doesn't suit my skin at all and I don't recommend it for sensitive skin ladies.
