After reading great reviews on BR and getting my butt outside running/walking daily I decided it was time to absolutely make sure I'm putting an SPF on my face daily and this was the product I knew I had to try. In the past I've had bad experience with SPF moisturisers feeling too heavy and leaving an oily residue but this doesn't have that at all! it absorbs perfectly into my skin really quickly leaving it feeling moisturised and fresh. It has a beautiful light apple scent that isn't overpowering or fake smelling and fades quickly on the skin. The packaging is great, simple yet pretty looking in a sensible, sturdy pump bottle that is easy to control. I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with this one!

I can get super dry skin so I'm on a big (and expensive) hunt to find my perfect moisturiser!!
Oasis Apple a Day moisturiser is so refreshing. It has a gorgeous scent and a simple but stylish bottle.
When I first used it, it felt quite thick on my hands so I was worried that it would feel heavy on my skin but after I applied it just felt beautiful! If you love a moisturiser to feel light and hydrating then this is for you.
It is a great base for your day to day makeup. As it was not oily on my skin, I felt as though it didn't interfere with my makeup but sunk straight into my skin and hydrated me up (If that makes sense - hehe).
I would use it again as a day to day moisturiser and I'm still loving it at the moment.
I bought this product for 3 reasons 1. SPF (I normally don’t try hard enough so this was a must) 2. To help even out my skin tone 3. To brighten the appearance of my skin.
I’m happy to report it has definitely helped and I feel I’m giving my skin the care it needs. I’ve been using this every morning (without fail) for the past 5 months and I began to really see a difference in my 4th month. That’s quite a long time but I guess it depends on the state of your skin – so clearly mine needed some attention! My forehead and the sides of my face were much darker compared to the rest of my face and over time I started to notice a better consistency of colour. My skin appears brighter and much healthier and I’m happy with where it’s at right now.
I have oily skin so this product isn’t “ideal” for me based on who this product is geared towards so obviously it does nothing for my oiliness but that’s fine because I was already aware of that. If there is one thing I don’t like about this product it’s how it leaves my skin feeling once applied. It feels kind of tough to touch as opposed to how other moisturisers leave my skin feeling. When I originally started using it I wanted to add Cetaphil on afterwards to soften my skin but thought to just keep going – it may change. After 5 months it still feels the same but the results make up for it. Other than that I would highly recommend the product for the 3 reasons I’ve mentioned above.
Initially I doubted the bottle would last me 3 months but I’m going onto 6 months and feel I can squeeze in another month before I repurchase so I’ve definitely got my money’s worth. I bought mine online from Oasis Beauty but discovered shortly after that Aromatherapy Extracts downtown stocks the full range.
Tips: I use 2 pumps and lightly move the product all over my face and then pat it in.
I received this product as a large sample in the Oasis goodie bag. I am not on the market for this product as I prefer to use a BB cream if I'm organised enough to wash my face and moisturise in the morning, but if I was I'd be purchasing. The product went on really smoothly and my skin lapped it up without feeling greasy. Even an hour or two later my skin feels smoother than with other moisturisers. I have sensitive combination skin so it's a difficult balance finding a moisturiser, but this one manages to be hydrating without being too rich and causing breakouts. I love the fact it's SPF as it's so important to protect our skin in NZ.
As for the skin brightening properties... I don't feel I've used this consistently enough to comment on that. Although now I think about it my face hasn't looked this clear in a long time. Maybe I need to rethink my decision not to purchase...
Tips: To get a trial sized sample purchase the goodie bag (awesome, I totally recommend it!) or ask for a sample next time you're at an Oasis retailer.
I bought this in a beauty box and was really pleased as I missed out in the last vault. This comes in a nice box with a goldish sheen on the front and one sidewith a copper web in the side and.the back of the box is white so the instructions and information are really clear and easy to read. Inside in a lovely white tube with a tab you push to open at the top so when you squeeze the tube not too much pours out. The cream inside is a nice thickness with a strong apple smell which enforces the apple a day thought in your head. The cream spreads easily and absorbs really quickly . My skin feels really nice a soft and I notice the more I use it the nicer my skin is looking. It has really good SPF 25 which as I love gardening I find essential is any face product .Best of all the product is NZ made. The price is a bit steep for a 50 mil tube however I will certainly consider a repurchase. A nice surprise in the box was a sample of their BB cream which I thought was a lovely touch.
Tips: Watch you shut the little stopper when you are finished as the tube is soft and easy to squeeze out by mistake if you leave open
This is good moisturiser overall. I like the fresh mild apple scent, love that it has an SPF 25 protection factor, and it is quite light, so it absorbs well without leaving white marks. The packaging makes it harder to control the amount that comes out. The clear lid, which it rests on, I found to be very fragile. Mine has shattered completely, so while now I can rest it on it's dispensing lid, there are little amounts of product which get on my shelf - no big deal really, but annoying to me.
The product itself is very good, I had no adverse effects, just good moisturising.
Tips: Take care with the clear lid - it's better with it intact.
This is a thick cream with a off white yellow kind of colour.
The scent is hard to describe I can't pinpoint it's fragrance.
The texture as I said is thick but to my disbelief it goes on smooth with a velvety finished feeling. I believe it feels like this as it's instantly absorbs into the skin. like I said I was surprised at this effect as it's quite a thick cream and I thought it would take a while to rub into the skin. Not the case it absorbs as you've spread it.
It leaves the skin looking moist and clean. it doesn't feel sticky or slick.
I'm impressed at this cream it left my face glowing.
Tips: Use in combination with an Oasis cleanser and toner/tonic.
Trial the samples to be sure of what suits you best. You won't be disappointed.
I picked this up in the vault and was very pleased I grabbed it. First of all, it didn't make me break out, which normally happens when I switch moisturisers. I had no reactions what so ever. It's very moisturising, which I like, because even though I'm oily most days, I still have some dry patches. Most Spf moisturisers freak my skin out, so I'm very pleased this one didn't. Very happy with this product. The only downfall for me is the weird smell - it's Apple but then something else too. Not unpleasant, just weird. But will still definitely repurchase.
I used this product after the Hot Toddy Serum. It has a reasonably thick consistency and the scent is lovely, it has a mild apple scent, but not a sweet lolly apple kind of scent. (I'm bad with scents) A little on the pricey side but a little goes a long way with this product, so it would last a fairly long time. It is easily absorbed into your skin and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth but not greasy.
Tips: After cleansing I used The Hot Toddy Serum, then the Hot Toddy Moisturizer and then applied The Monroe BB Cream. My face looked flawless. These products also cleared up my dry patches and little bumps I had on my cheek.
I purchased the Oasis goodie bag which came with a generous sized sample of apple a day. The scent is lovely, a very subtle apple with the signature Oasis clay/play dough scent in the background. Often with moisturizer I find it sits on top of my skin for 10 minutes before finally being absorbed. This leaves me rocking a mega shiny face if I am going to be makeup free for the day. Not so with this one, my skin absolutely drinks it in. I love the fact that it has an spf 25 as I forget to add sunscreen in the colder months to my morning routine. Having an SPF built into the moisturizer is a must for me being that I work on a farm. I am slightly stingy with this product, in that I will apply whatever cheap non spf moisturizer I have on hand to my neck, (which is perpetually white and never seems to be touched by the sun), in winter, and only apply this moisturizer to my face. If money allows I will repurchase this when I run out of moisturizer, although this is slightly more than I would normally spend.
