I really wanted to like this product.. I don't hate it but I am not sold. First impressions, it smelt delicious and I loved the fact that the smallest amount is enough to exfoliate and even a relatively small amount is enough to use as a masque too, means its going to be wallet friendly so to speak. Its pretty cool how its a dual action product.. I like that. However.. The results.. To be honest my skin is looking brighter but it doesn't feel as nice as I would have expected.. My skin feels almost chalky.. Like its a few levels off being dry after using this product.. Yeah it feels clean but I would have expected it to feel a lot more supple after using this product. No visible difference in the appearance of my pores like I would have expected with it also having clay's to form a mask. I will be sticking with my regular mask and regular exfoliant!

What is Fruit Smoothie? It's a face mask and enzyme + physical scrub in one naughty little number! It's a powerful but gentle multipurpose product for glowing skin in no time at all. Contains natural clay to draw out impurities for super smooth skin while the jojoba beads combined with papaya, pineapple and pink grapefruit exfoliate away rough skin.
Active naturals jojoba, kaolin & pink clays, NZ honeydew, apricot kernel, shea butter, papaya, pineapple, neem and pink grapefruit

Tips: Great that it offers two products in one, looking at it economically wise that saves you a bit of money.. I just think there are other products that do a better job.
I'm a huge fan of facemasks so having one combined with a scrub in a brand I already love was just too good to resist!
The first thing you notice is the smell! YUM, it really does smell like a tropical fruit smoothie but is obviously designed to go on your face rather than in it ;)
I’ve been using this once a week for the past couple of months and my skin has never looked better. My pores are clearer and I find makeup goes on easier as my skin is so smooth and in great condition. I usually leave it on for about 10mins before a shower as a mask and then get stuck into the exfoliating part when I’m in the shower. Colour wise the mask ends up being a pinkish/ brown on your face so you look like a tragic foundation colour-match disaster for a short time but its well worth it!
One of my favourite things about the product is the grit level of the scrub. The fine exfoliating particles do such a great job of getting rid of old skin and leave everything feeling super soft.
As others have mentioned, its not as cheap as a supermarket brand product but if you have the cash its well worth buying :o)
I went in to this with so-so expectations. For some reason face masques and my skin just don't result in anything spectacular - then came along Fruit Smoothie.
First impressions - average size tube, simple label, nothing particularly exciting. To be honest it doesn't look like it warrants the $40 price tag. (Clearly they saved all their energy for what's inside!)
The product comes out looking like a tinted moisturiser, but a bit thicker. I used about two pumps and applied it as a thin layer to my face. The smell was amazing, so fruity. There's no tightening and just a little bit of a tingle.
After about ten minutes I hopped in the shower and rubbed the product in, gently exfoliating my face. I rinsed it off and got on with my shower.
As soon I dried my face I could feel the difference. My skin was smooth and just looked better. To be honest my skin felt so good I didn't even apply my serum or night cream, I ran straight out to my husband and demanded he feel how smooth my skin was. He said "wow I can feel it even with the rough skin on my fingers" (he's lucky he didn't get anything more than a death stare, how dare he touch my super soft skin with a callous.)
I've been using this twice a week now, since you only need a couple of pumps it's going to last a while, making it quite economical really. My skin has never looked nor felt better, I think it's the gentle and natural equivalent to a peel. My skin tone looks much more even and I've had no breakouts at all since using it.
I look forward to using it and will definitely repurchase, I don't think I could be without it now! I'm certainly going to check out more of the Oasis range.
Tips: Don't be miffed by the pump - you need to vigourously pump to get it going. I unscrewed it and was surprised to find no straw, I think it works on a vacuum premise, so the first time you use it, just keep pumping.
How has Oasis been around for so long without them appearing on my skincare loving radar? I really have OngTheFarmer to thank for putting them in the spotlight. So far I've tried a number of their products and loved them - and Oasis' Fruit Smoothie is no exception.
The packaging is similar to other Oasis products, a pump bottle, which lifts up from the bottom to ensure you get every drop of the product right to the very end (I love that!). It's simple, yet sophisticated, and looks nice sitting in my mouldering shower.
After cleansing I use two pumps for good measure before applying as an exfoliator whilst showering, then leave for two minutes while I faff about conditioning my hair, cleaning Miss 2, brushing teeth, before washing off. You know what surprised me? The scent. I expected it to be quite fruity, but it's really sweet and creamy smelling. You get the odd burst of fruit, but nothing like I would've expected. I would prefer a more fruity smelling product, but you know what? If I want to smell a fruit smoothie, I'll buy a real one. It's what happens after using the product that counts right?
Even as you wash away the remnants of the 'smoothie' you can feel your skin is softer, and when you look in the mirror post-drying off *pow*. Your skin (well, at least mine does) really does glow, and looks clearer. I also find after using it my serums and moisturiser, followed by my makeup, glide on easily.
As far as exfoliators go, this has to be the best I've ever tried. It's a little pricey, but a little product goes a long way, and you only need to use it once or twice a week. Can't recommend this enough!
What's not to love with the Oasis Beauty Tropical Smoothie. From its double duty as a scrub and mask, yet still being gentle to use everyday. The fragrance is like you have surrounded yourself with fresh oranges and pineapples, you can't help but smell as you relax and let the mask do its job. Its helped my skin become so soft of late, and I only use it once a week as a scrub and maybe twice a month as a mask. It helps to clear out pores and reduce their size across my cheek and nose area. Being a NZ brand and made from natural products just keeps this on top of my list
I really love this product. It feels so good, and smells heavenly, so much so that it took extreme willpower to not eat it. It has a nice mousse type consistency and has little bits in it, which give a nice exfoliator for your skin. My skin felt super soft after using it and I feel it has helped clear up my skin. The price seems a bit expensive, but you only need a small amount and a little goes a long way, so its definitely well worth the price. This would last you quite a while as mine has. I love the fact that it is a New Zealand brand as its always a good feeling to support local brands and knowing that it is natural and good for my skin, just makes it all that much better. If you're looking for a nice treat for your skin that you can introduce into your skincare regime, then look no further.
This has got to be one of the best face scrubs & masks I have ever used. Aside from the fact that it smells AH-maze-ING you really are getting a great deal for the price. Because it is a dual product you can decide if you only have time for a quick removal of grim in the shower or rub it in then lay back & relax while smelling that beautiful fruit in the bath. It has a pinkish tone to the cream so It is easy to see where you have applied it if leaving on as a Mask.
Tips: Use sparingly if you just want a scrub my sample size lasted lots of washes or apply slightly thicker if you want to leave on as the clay mask.
I received a sample of this product and so far I have done about 4 masks with it alongside using it as an exfoliater.
I'm sad to say that I really don't see what all the fuss is about! I don't think it really unclogged pores or left me feeling like it had really cleansed my skin at all. It did work as an exfoliate, but not a good one and after I had washed it off it felt as though it left a sort of residue on my skin.
The product has gone a long way for the size and I love that its NZ made but I think those are the only real plusses.
Personally this product did not add up to the hype i heard it to be. It does have a lovely fragrance and texture but I found when i left it on my skin like you would a mask it just started to irritate my skin and i don't have sensitive skin whatsoever. it did work as an exfoliate nicely. But personally i did not find a huge difference in my skin afterwards. and the exfoliating beads were quite of a mission to remove as even after cleansing my skin again because it felt quite oily afterwards i was still finding product left over.
Yes, it's true - I tasted it hahaha. It didn't taste all that bad but it felt brilliant on my face ;)
The biggest thing I love about this product (aside from smelling INCREDIBLE), is that you can use it as both a scrub and a mask - so you're getting two products in one. I used it as both and didn't have a preference over either uses. They were both amazing.
The exfoliating beads are really small so they're quite gentle on your skin, which I liked. It was comfortable to exfoliate with and to use as a mask and my skin felt super clean and refreshed after using this for both purposes.
As I got this as a sample, I can't comment on the packaging but the sample was a really generous size and because I loved the way this felt on my skin and the way it smelled - I will purchase this and use it as part of my everyday skin care.
It is a little expensive BUT you are supporting a NZ business (which is awesome), and one that uses natural, high quality ingredients. I also love that Oasis support WSPA as I am an animal advocate and think it's awesome they are too.
Tips: Visit their website to request samples - you will instantly become addicted to their products and want to incorporate their range into your skincare routine :)
