I have recently received a sample pot of this and put it to the test! The sample will last you about three-five days, so you can have a good verdict after using it.
The packaging is a durable little pot which you can use for something else in the future! Or, you can squeeze more of your BB Cream into it when you go away for a day or two so you won't have to carry around a big bottle.
The smell is lovely, it doesn't smell like foundation, more like a subtle moisturizer which gets a 10/10 in my books!
It gives quite a full coverage and lasts a typical work day or night out, but if you want it to last for both, you'll probably have a problem. But, again, that's where the sample pot is so handy!
It glides on a bit like a paste, I'd say they should dilute the formula a bit for smoother application, as you use quite a bit more than with other BB Creams.
I'd definitely recommend at least a sample of this product (and it's free!), and I know I'll be saving up to buy a full sized product. It's a bit expensive at $49.95, but it's cruelty-free and you're supporting local business.
Tried samples from website, the Monroe has good coverage for a BB cream, matte finish, no good for mature skin, tends to sink into any lines & wrinkles after a while, the other one I tried was the Bardot, lighter coverage & dewey finish, good for young & mature skin types, but if you want more coverage, use a concealer as well. Bit pricey but would last for ages as you only need to use a small amount.
