Oasis Beauty Hot Toddy Serum Review

Since I love Oasis' Apple a Day I had to try out more of Oasis Beauty's products, so when Oasis had their big sale, I jumped at the chance to grab a bargain and I'm glad I did. Being an oil based serum for dry skin, I really thought that it would be a bit greasy and take awhile to absorb into my skin. Omg, it hydrated and absorbed fairly quickly and didn't leave a greasy layer on my skin. It didn't break me out either, I've used this during autumn when my skin was a bit oily/combination and had no resulting breakouts, but I prefer to use this in winter as the spicy scent really hits the spot. I've been using it at night and the On the Rocks during the day but as the weather gets drier I will start using this during the day. I haven't seen the fine lines disappear using this but my skin has been soft and moisturized and it feels really hydrated but not greasy. The only con I can think of is that I need more than a pump to cover my face, neck and decolletege so if I use this twice a day with the size of the bottle I would have used up the bottle within a month and it's a bit pricey. The other con is that the bottle it comes in a clear which isn't the best of for active ingredients but that is solved by storing it in the box it came in. That being said I love that Oasis use airless pumps for their products because not only do the active ingredients stay preserved in airtight packaging but you get every last bit of product. I definitely will repurchase this when Oasis or another site has a fantastic sale or a good gift with purchase.

I got a wee sample of this which gave me about 5 applications. I love it! My skin was quite dry with the sudden cold snap and it cured it! I have a nice soft smooth face and I'm putting it down to this wonderful serum! It doesn't have much of a smell which I like, it's silky and goes on as an oil but absorbs quite quickly, leaving my skin soft and hydrated without any residue. I've been using it once a week before I go to bed and I feel that's all I need really. If I had more of it though I'd probably use it twice a week

I've been using this for a couple of months now and am highly impressed with the results.

The product itself comes in a 15ml pump bottle dispenser. It doesn't seem like much but you only need 2 pumps each night to cover your entire face and neck area. I've had my bottle for about 2.5 months now and have almost finished it.

This serum is perfect in the sense that it doesn't leave a greasy residue and your skin feels so hydrated after use. I use this at night before bed, let it soak in for a few minutes, then follow with beauty sleep, and wake up with really soft skin. Such a great treat for tired dry skin. While it's not improved any wrinkles, my skin looks a lot fresher and younger with continued use. I will definitely repurchase this as it's so good.

The smell of the product is so hard to describe, Initially I thought it was kind of "grassy" but I still can't put my finger on it. Anyway it's a smell that I've really grown to love after thinking it was a bit weird to start with.

This serum is lovely. It applies easily and only a couple of drops are needed to cover the entire face. I have only a sample size and have been using it for a week already. My skin is a little oily when it's first applied but it sinks in quickly, leaving my skin really nicely moisturised. By the morning, there's no greasy layer to wash off and my skin feels good. I feel like it is brightening my glow and I haven't had any reaction to it, which is a huge plus (happens with many good products too). I will use this one again.

I received a generously-sized sample of this when I bought the toilet bag with the full set of samples from Oasis and this was the last thing I picked up. I'd heard great things about it, but I thought it would be too rich for my sensitive, combination skin.

When I finally tried it, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was light and easily absorbed, leaving my skin feeling nourished without being weighed down with heavy product. The texture was somewhere between an oil and a cream and was lovely to apply.

As with many Oasis products, it has a slightly odd smell, but it's not unpleasant and is, I believe, a sign that they haven't used artificial fragrance in this product.

Having tried it I'm a convert and can assure you that if you were hesitant to try it on combination skin, it isn't one of those heavy, gluggy products that make you break out!

I love Love LOVE this product. I have combination skin, and when it gets dry it loses that glow and brightness. Before trying this product I really felt like my skin looked and felt awful and that it was missing some real good natural nourishment.

Hot Toddy with just one application in the morning completely turned around my skin's moisture, texture and brightness. My skin is smoother, softer and has a lovely dewy glow to it every day. I take my makeup off at the end of the day and I still have a healthy glow.

The moisture benefits of this serum are immediate, but the long term conditioning of my skin was clearly evident after 2-3 months.

Wrinkles had softened. Complexion was clear. I also noticed sun spots and scarring had faded also. Another reason I'm probably more confident with my skin condition thanks to this product!

Unlike other serums, this one has a luxurious richness to it, that makes your skin feel immediately hydrated and soft. It's a powerhouse of ingredients. Smells really lovely too - but quite a strong scent compared to other oils I'd tried.

Having clearer skin, and softened wrinkles thanks to the serum has meant I have the confidence to go without makeup on occasions and dial back my makeup to a light BB cream most days.

It really is liquid gold (it looks like liquid gold too!). A little goes a long way and it lasts, despite the tiny bottle (I was a little disappointed first time buying, when I saw the size of the bottle!). It lasts an incredibly long time (on par with other rosehip serums - but this formula is thicker, so you use less!).

Used daily, I get about 3 months from the bottle, a little less if I'm using at night as well. I can't be without it now - it's my holy grail face oil/serum.

I was pleasantly surprised with the result I’ve seen using this tiny tube of gold.

I have dry skin which recently with the change of the weather has become super dry and unpleasantly tight.

My skin is reaping the rewards with using this serum morning and night. My skin is visibly more plump, fine lines are less noticeable, and my skin is feeling more hydrated, and lasting through out the day.

The scent can be a little off putting at first being a very natural smell, however over time it’s grown on me.

If your skin is like mine I would mostly definitely recommend giving this a try, you won’t be disappointed!

My favourite part of my nightly routine involves Hot Toddy, a silk robe, my man (cat), a book or my laptop and a cup of chamomile tea, it makes me feel somewhat luxurious while in actual fact I'm livin' that student life. The scent of Hot Toddy reminds me of something warm and comforting, it is subtle enough that it isn't too overpowering but strong enough that it lingers on the skin until I fall asleep. The serum is a beautiful translucent orange colour with a somewhat thickish oil consistency that glides easily onto my skin and absorbs quickly leaving it feeling hydrated and plump with a beautiful glow which lasts until the next morning. While fine lines and wrinkles aren't an issue for me yet (thank you skin fairies), I do feel since using this serum I've seen a very noticeable improvement in the moisture balance and texture of my skin with less congested pores. I'm really into simple packaging for products so I find the tiny pump bottle administers the perfect amount of serum while being aesthetically pleasing in design, it fits in perfectly on my vanity with my other daily use items and other Oasis Beauty goodies.

I was gifted this recently and I absolutely love it ! I find that even though it is a serum it is not as greasy as some of the other serums that I have used before. Also with the pump application it is easy to get just the right amount that you need. I find that it absorbs very nicely into my skin and doesn't leave an annoying film on the surface of my skin.

I was a bit concerned at the beginning my the size of the bottle but a little bit seems to go all the way and all I need is one pump and it does my whole face.

I feel that since using this product my skin seems to be a lot smoother than it was. I also find that my skin isn't as dry. I work in an air conditioned office and that plays havoc with my skin.

I also have to say the packaging is awesome. Very cute and love the labelling.

My first impression of this was oh dear god it stinks, it has a very overpowering smell to it, but to be honest you don't notice it once it's rubbed all into your face, luckily!!

I got this as a trial product and am so glad I did, it is amazing for my dry skin it just sinks in. I do have to allow it a bit of time before I can moistirise.

I haven't noticed much difference in my fine lines but I have defiantly noticed a difference in my under eye discolouration, which no other product has helped with.

I have sensitive/dry skin and this product has not made me break out at all, I would defiantly recommend, and will be purchasing the bottle of this.
