OGX Renewing Moroccan Hair Oil Treatment Review

This oil is so good for if you have split ends/dry/damaged hair! I use it on my ends (apply to damp hair) and it helps repair them and keep my hair nice and smooth :)

I received this hair oil from my birthday last year from my best mate. I had found that the oil wasn't to light or to heavy and distributed into my hair nicely. I only ever used this after a shower or after I have used ny the to straighten my hair as it left my hair looking healthy and silky. This hair oil lasted roughly four months for me and will definitely repurchase next time I rub out of hair oil.

Having very curly hair I am always trying new argan oils and such. I bought this one when I was in the states at Walgreens and really liked it, as it did what it said it would and made my very dry curls feel softer ,but it didn't really stand out from any others that I had tried but would still definitely repurchase as it is much more affordable.

I have been using this oil for a few weeks now as I already had a bottle I had purchased previously. I use it on damp towel dried hair after showering, whenever I wash my hair so every 2-3 day. I find it does seem to disappear quite quickly so I assume it is being absorbed into the hair or "penetrating the hair shaft" as they state in the product description. But although it felt like it was being absorbed and made my hair feel lovely right after application, I haven't found it has renewed my dry hair. I previously used baybliss morrocan argan oil and think that conditions my hair better in comparison to this one.

I was so excited about this oil, I have had many different salon oils and loved them all. I have fine but lots of blonde hair. When I first put it in dry it felt fine. The next day I used as instructed in damp hair. It made my hair look very oily then as I dried my hair it felt very, dry and brittle. I straightened my hair, which was incredibly hard my straighteners did not go through my hair smoothly. I never normally brush my hair during the day as it does not tangle. I had to brush my hair several times and it easily knotted again. I thought I would try again and use the size of a pea this time, same happened as above. I immediately stopped using the product. This product has protein in it and I have virgin hair with no damage so I don't need protein. It feels like hay when you over use protein hair treatments. I have just washed my hair again today and it still feels horrible, I think it will take a little while before I get rid of all the product. On a more positive note I gave it to my mum with think curly hair and she loves it. I think this product is not right for my hair type.

I love love love this product! This oil is the best I have used by far! My hair is completely free of colourants and bleach and is in pretty good condition except for a bit of dandruff but it does tend to get oily quickly and has a tendency to be a bit flat. I was worried using this oil may weigh my hair down but it did nothing of the sort. The few flyaways I have were non existant and my hair was luxurious and so so soft! My hair usually gets oily on day 2 after shampooing and surprisingly with this oil in my hair I managed to get to day 3 without any oil problems which is surprising...and my dandruff even seemed to be less of a problem!

I straighten my hair daily so the fact that this product helps protect my hair is fantastic

I even used this on my daughters hair (7 and 5) and my 7 yr old daughter has very beautiful, long but hard to manage hair(a slight breeze will fill her hair with tangles!). After a full day at school after having this in her hair it looked like it had just been brushed and had very few knots! My 5 yr olds hair was just shiny and glossy but her hair is very easy to manage.

I will continue to purchase this when my current bottle runs out(which will be awhile as you only need a teeny tiny bit)

It is light and does not make my hair feel greasy at all. It is a good price compared to other brands, however it is not the best so I guess you get what you pay for with argan oil. I could not live without argan oil as my hair would be a frizz ball!

I love using hair oil and this one is such a good value for money. It protects my hair from my styling tools and leaves it looking shiny.

After only 2 days of receiving this product to try i can see and feel the difference in my hair. I know this probably sounds like some cliche tv informercial, but i am dead serious! I thought my hair would never get better after having it chemically straightened, then getting highlights put in (containing bleach as i have dark hair). I'd definitly heard things about morroccon oil, and macadamia oil etc, but never really paid attention. My hair feels, softer, stronger, and a whole lot better, this time last week i found it so hard to just brush my hair because of the damage and i assumed maybe i would have to go and get an expensive hair treatment, but nope i found my perfect solution in this product. (Sorry about the novel, but i could sing this products praises for years) I really would reccomend this to any person who is havingtrouble with there damaged hair, i know its a little pricey for such a small bottle, but i promise it will be well worth your money and you wont have to go and spend hundreds on an expensive hair treatment! I would definitley re purchase this item, too be honest it definitley isn't one of the cheaper ranges. However you need a minimal amount in the palm of your hand to work through dampened hair. Less is definitley more with this product. The consistency of the product isn't overly greasy so you aren't put off of running the product through your hair.

The packaging is fairly simple, not overly attractive but is a good size. Too be honest I am skeptical that this would be as good for those with outrageous curly frizzy ends. I am lucky my hair is limp and straight naturally so this complimented my hair well.

The thing with this product is it is a TREATMENT, it is not for everyday use so i imagine you would experience greasy hair if you were to generous with treatments and application.
