OGX Renewing Moroccan Hair Oil Treatment Review

This oil is so good for if you have split ends/dry/damaged hair! I use it on my ends (apply to damp hair) and it helps repair them and keep my hair nice and smooth :)

I received this hair oil from my birthday last year from my best mate. I had found that the oil wasn't to light or to heavy and distributed into my hair nicely. I only ever used this after a shower or after I have used ny the to straighten my hair as it left my hair looking healthy and silky. This hair oil lasted roughly four months for me and will definitely repurchase next time I rub out of hair oil.

I love love love this product! This oil is the best I have used by far! My hair is completely free of colourants and bleach and is in pretty good condition except for a bit of dandruff but it does tend to get oily quickly and has a tendency to be a bit flat. I was worried using this oil may weigh my hair down but it did nothing of the sort. The few flyaways I have were non existant and my hair was luxurious and so so soft! My hair usually gets oily on day 2 after shampooing and surprisingly with this oil in my hair I managed to get to day 3 without any oil problems which is surprising...and my dandruff even seemed to be less of a problem!

I straighten my hair daily so the fact that this product helps protect my hair is fantastic

I even used this on my daughters hair (7 and 5) and my 7 yr old daughter has very beautiful, long but hard to manage hair(a slight breeze will fill her hair with tangles!). After a full day at school after having this in her hair it looked like it had just been brushed and had very few knots! My 5 yr olds hair was just shiny and glossy but her hair is very easy to manage.

I will continue to purchase this when my current bottle runs out(which will be awhile as you only need a teeny tiny bit)

After only 2 days of receiving this product to try i can see and feel the difference in my hair. I know this probably sounds like some cliche tv informercial, but i am dead serious! I thought my hair would never get better after having it chemically straightened, then getting highlights put in (containing bleach as i have dark hair). I'd definitly heard things about morroccon oil, and macadamia oil etc, but never really paid attention. My hair feels, softer, stronger, and a whole lot better, this time last week i found it so hard to just brush my hair because of the damage and i assumed maybe i would have to go and get an expensive hair treatment, but nope i found my perfect solution in this product. (Sorry about the novel, but i could sing this products praises for years) I really would reccomend this to any person who is havingtrouble with there damaged hair, i know its a little pricey for such a small bottle, but i promise it will be well worth your money and you wont have to go and spend hundreds on an expensive hair treatment! I bought this oil treatment about 6 months ago, I ordered it from Superdrug in the UK because it's cheaper, and I am so amazed by this product. I have used MoroccanOil, Argania, and another brand of Argan Oil, but this is the best I have used. It is an oil treatment so I do not use it too often, but I use it about every 2nd night just because my hair is quite dry, as my natural hair texture is curly. I apply this treatment to the 2nd half of my hair and ends with about one walnut sized amount of product, and that is enough. I work it quite well into my hair, and it instantly absorbs into my hair. I wake up the next morning and my hair is renewed! Silky, smooth, defrizzed and nothing like my natural hair texture! The oil isn't greasy or too heavy, unlike MoroccanOil, and the smell is quite nice! I don't know why but it kind of reminds me of male cologne hahaha, but it is quite nice and light anyway, not too overpowering! The bottle does look quite small, but it lasts forever I swearrrr! Since you do not need a lot of product :) The lid is good as you can quite easily control how much product comes out. Overall, I highly recommend this product! It is good for all hair types, but especially for my fellow frizzy/curly haired gals! It is also available at Countdown, which isn't mentioned above :)

I absolutely rate this product and encourage anyone and everyone to give it a try. Especially for dry, damaged and unruly hair! I usually apply a minimal amount to my hands, rub them together to warm it a little then run it through towel dried hair at night (probably about 2 times a week) and wake up with what feels like new hair! So much stronger, softer, silkier and generally healthier feeling hair. My hair is naturally thick and wavy and it tames it a lot, reduces frizz and leaves it looking shiny and just perfect. I also apply to my ends only before straightening. This is magic stuff!!!

the smell is nice, it's light not heavy. the texture isn't too greasy but it does the job the oil is a yellow tinge.

I have coloured thick hair and found this really worked for me, it has lasted a looonngg time which is great for the money side of things.

I use this on my ends only and found it nourished my hair really well, I have a lot of split ends and this helped to allow them to feel soft and not harsh.

I actually used this daily on both dry and wet hair and found it didn't matter

I like the packaging as it's simple and the bottle isn't too large, I think it has leaked a few times but I am not certain if this is from excess product on the lid or me not shutting the lid correctly.

I use this product just before leaving the house. Good for after I've straightened my hair to tame my fly aways and also good for after a shower to help my hair dry without going too frizzy

It's a thin oil that you should never use too much of. You don't need much to tame your hair and using too much can make your hair look oily.

I like the gold packaging, makes it easier to find on the shelf at the supermarket and helps me find it when I'm going through my bag.

The lid is every good, never leaks which is hard to find when you buy oils.

The smell is nice a subtle. Not too harsh and doesn't intrude on the smell of my perfumes or creams.

I have told many people to use this produce as it is cheaper than other oils and just as good.

I LOVE this product so much! Over bleaching, colouring, straightening, curling and general torture of my hair had it in a very bad sate until I tried this miracle oil! A small amount goes a long way, and a bottle of this will last me up to 4 months!..... I've used it in wet and dry hair and had great results both ways. A definite must have for damaged hair!

My hair: so soft, so silky, so smooth, so straight, so shiney.... so many compliments and it's only been a few days. Value for money. You don't use much. I focus on the ends of my hair ( also everywhere else but avoid my roots). Rub product over my fingers then run my fingers through my hair, more time spent on the ends. Smells lovely. Cant stop touching my hair. It feels like I've just left the salon (oh yeah!). I like that this also works as a protectant as I have just discovered the world of straightening. Previously had avoided it as I don't have an abundance of hair. So, protects your hair, feels amazing, looks fab, smells great... so glad I tried it. Will last for ages with the small amount I use, making it value for money. Handy to buy with the groceries too which is a bonus. I'm definitely one happy camper.
