Let's just begin with saying I love this stuff! And here's why: 1)It's cheap - I think I pay $18 for 100ml it from my local supermarket and I've seen it cheaper on special before. I believe that that is really good value for an effective product. 2) It leaves the ends of my hair feeling moisturised and nourished, which I really appreciate. It also helps disguise my split ends. I sometimes use it in my hair dry between washes if the ends are lacking lusture and are appearing dry. 3) It lasts a very long time! My first bottle lasted my 10 months. I'm now on my second bottle, which I've had for 2 months and I've only used around 10ml of product.
This argan hair oil has moderately thick to thick consistency, applies easily and evely to the ends of my hair and does not leave a sticky, oily residue. The bottle is easy to use, just uncap the lid, turn it over and pour it out, but be careful sometimes it can pour out quite quickly.
I would most definitely recommend this product others, especially people with a similar hair type to myself. It's great, and I'm going to continue using it until I find something better.
Torrential rain. Gale-force winds. Salt Water. My hair has had it rough these last few months and was desperate for some loving. I had been deliberating for months whether to try out this product that sat abandoned in my draw of Mum's hand me down hair products (I'm on a student budget and Mum has the same manic mane as me). After a day of particularly aggressive weather I decided to douse my locks in this oil, wrap my hair in a plastic bag (glamorous) and let the oils do their magic. OH LORDY. My matted, wild curls had never felt so soft and rejuvenated. This wonderful product has now found its way into our flat's Sunday 'treat yo damn self' pamper night. Highly recommend this for people with weather/heat tool/colour damaged hair. You can find little sample tubes at most pharamacies that will do the trick if you're dubious. Definitely comparable to the Moroccan oil and all it's sister oils - plus cruelty free is always a bonus :)
Tips: It doesn't look pretty, but I recommend lathering your damp hair with the oil (and maybe some coconut oil if you're extremely dry), wearing a shower camp and leaving it on for half an hour- you'll love the results.
