OGX Renewing Morrocan Argan Oil Shampoo and conditioner Review

I love the Ogx awapuhi ginger shampoo and conditioner but it is so hard to find, the joy of rural NZ. So while I was at the big town supermarket I found this one. I also love argan oil and have found it working wonders in my hair so I thought this would be perfect for my dry hair.

The blue bottles stand out and are different to other shampoo and conditioner bottles. The lids are easy to flip open and shut and easy to get both the shampoo and conditioner out. The only thing I don't like about this, is the bottles don't sit on their lids so you do need to shake them quite a bit.

The shampoo is like a pearl beige colour and the conditioner is a cream colour the consistency of both of these is quite thick especially the conditioner it's very thick. The scent of these is just like a normal shampoo and conditioner nothing really amazing which disappointed me I thought it would have been amazing.

With this shampoo and conditioner you don't need to use too much, the shampoo lathers up quite a lot. The conditioner is very thick and goes a long way. After my hair had dried it didn't feel exceptionally soft or nourished it was just average. I don't think this shampoo and conditioner is worth the relatively high price tag.

This was my "go-to" for about two years.

The product was excellent, both products being thick and creamy in texture. These always seemed to last a long long time for me before I would need to top up and re purchase. (Product would last me about 2 months - and I wash my hair daily! Bad I know >.<)

For me the shampoo lathered up beautifully and felt luxurious. I have curly hair that comes down past my shoulders and I only needed a small amount (about the size of a $1 coin) for my hair to completely lather up and become soapy.

The conditioner was thick and I feel it penetrated well into my hair to make it shiny and soft to the touch.

All in all I think these are wonderful products, the packaging is nice and simple. It has a lovely scent, lathers well and is nice and thick in texture. Lasts a very long time for me, and is readily available in most supermarkets.

I purchased a set of this from my local supermarket. I thought it smelt amazing and was super excited to try it. I used it for about a month and had noticed nothing different to my hair. I still had spilt ends and my hair was still breaking very easily.

To my disappointment I spent my weekly splurge on this product and brought the shampoo and conditioner to find that this did nothing for my hair if anything it may have actually made it worse.

For $18 PER BOTTLE I found it was not worth it. It didn't do what it said it would and the bottle was rather small for the price this is the second OGX product I have tried that has disappointed me.

Sadly I do not intend to try any more of their range.

I enjoy this product, I like the smell of it and find both the shampoo and conditioner to be thick and creamy. You don't need to use much either as a little goes along way. Its nice to be able to pick this up from the supermarket too.

I love the coconut OGX shampoo and conditioner that I have tried so when I saw these in travel size at my local pharmacy I thought I would try them as well.

Packaging is your usual for shampoo and conditioner. I don't like that they both have rounded lids at the top though. Makes it a pain when you are trying to get the last of something out.

The products themselves are sort of orangey gold in tone. The shampoo lathers up really nicely. I thought that the scent of both was lovely, kind of sweet but not offensive. I thought they both did a good job together and was lovely all over.

If I ever see these on special I will definitely pick them up as they are great! Unfortunately the full price puts me off a bit.

I have used a hair serum by OGX and loved it, so thought I would give the shampoo and conditioners a try. It's safe to say, they didn't do what I thought they would! They left my hair feeling sticky and unclean. I couldn't wait to finish the bottle!

I got both shampoo and conditioner last year as a birthday gift from the man. Mighty Ape's wish list comes in handy!

The blue bottles are nice but the shape is a bit annoying, I wish they were more compact and maybe had a flat top so I could put them upside down. Both the shampoo and conditioner are as thick as pig s**t, but they go into the hair really nicely and make my hair feel so nice and clean.

The smell is quite nice, it's slightly fruity and exotic. The shampoo is a shiny yellow whereas the conditioner is a pale creamy yellow, and I love both. My hair dries faster than usual once I've used this combo and my hair remains clean, soft and shiny for at least 3 days after washing. It's a very nice set and I'd buy it again.
