Olay Miracle Boost and Micro Sculpt Duo Review

Firstly the container for the Miracle Boost Youth Pre Essence has a dropper. I love the "pump dropper" bottle as it dispenses just the right amount of serum with no waste The container has a screw top so when you’re getting to the last of the product, you’ll be able to unscrew the top and get every last drop out before disposing of it. The container can be recycled which is a huge tick for me as well. The serum is super silky and glides over my skin really nicely. It seemed like it instantly made my skin look like it was glowing. I let the serum sit on my skin for a couple of minutes to allow it to soak in before applying the Micro Sculpting cream over the top of the serum. I feel that my skin looks and feels better since using the serum, combined with the cream. The container for the Micro Sculpting Cream is my favourite which is a jar style. This means it’s super easy to get out the exact amount you want to use and you can get every last drop of the cream out of the jar before disposing of it. The container can be recycled which is a huge tick for me as well. I used the Miracle Boost serum, before applying the Micro Sculpting cream. The Micro Sculpting cream has a pleasant scent. It feels like a thick cream, but not so thick that it felt gluggy. It just felt more like a night cream. It went on over the serum really nicely and made my skin instantly look like it was glowing and hydrated. I have pigmentation on my skin caused by the sun and after using the cream for just 3 weeks, I do feel that my pigmentation had become slightly lighter. I will certainly carry on using it to see if it continues to lighten my pigmentation. I feel that my skin looks and feels better since using the cream. The only comment I would make is that when I apply my usual foundation over the top of the serum and cream, it doesn’t seem to blend into my skin properly. It starts flaking off. I’m not sure if this is the serum or the cream causing this problem. Overall, I do like this product and will use it again.

I already like Olay products, and this combo of anti wrinkle products at a reasonable price reinforced my view. I have so far been using the two together twice a day after cleansing for a little over 3 weeks on a Beauty Review trial team. I have used just under half of both products. I have noticeably shallower brow lines and crowsfeet. I have recently started more concentration on marks around my lips, but no clear results yet. My cheeks are not yet as plump as I expected comparing to the other results/ product promise. However there are still 4-5 more days until Day 28. Perhaps looking 5-6 years younger at the mo! Overall very happy - 1/2 a mark off perhaps unfairly because of the cheeks - but might still change it in a week or two to 5/5. Thanks Beauty Review for the spot on the trial.

I love this combination. Beautiful packaging that doesn't look cheap. Both products smell fantastic, absorb easily, feed the skin and don't cost the earth. Perfect for most of us that want good skincare on a budget. These products work synergistically to firm and nourish the skin. I will buy these products again and will recommend them to others.

So I have been using Olay Miracle Boost and Micro Sculpt Duo for about 3 weeks now and I'm still trying to work out if you actually need to use both products at the same time to see the results both products claim to give. Here are my conclusions anyway: I found the Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence to be quite drying on my skin after application (and I have oily skin) and then the Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturiser put that moisture straight back. Perhaps that is what is supposed to happen and then if that is the case then for sure, you need both products. If that isn't the case to be honest you probably only need one or the other. Both products claim to do the same things for your skin - it's just kind of worded differently! It suggests to use both products morning and night which is what I did - serum first, moisturiser second. I really don't feel you need to use the serum and the cream together. I believe that the face cream on its own would be all you need to see results. You could possibly only need the serum on its own if you have oily skin like myself as I found it a bit drying on my own skin. If this range does sound like it would be up your alley, choose one product, I really don't think you need both xx

I’m hooked ! I have not used Olay in many years and was pleasantly surprised at how good this duo works together! I’ve used many products over the years and one of the ingredients I always look for is hyaluronic acid , I fly a lot and this ingredients helps keep my skin stay hydrated. The pre essence was great to use , it quickly absorbed into my skin and with the moisturiser on top my skin felt so hydrated! In the mornings my skin was so soft and I had no dry patches ! After a couple of weeks using it my face definitely looks firmer around the eyes and mouth so I’m excited to see what it will be in a months time , I will definitely keep using this duo and would recommend it to anyone of any skin type .

Wow to be truthfully honest I am super stoked with these two amazing products. The pre essence is definitely my favourite of the two because it absorbed almost instantly. It minimised my large pores straight away. They both have a pleasant fragrance. The pre essence is a clearer substance and the face cream is white. Both feel amazing on the skin. Refreshing and hydrating. I would definitely buy them again but as you only need such a small amount I can see mine lasting a long time.

I have been using the Miracle Boost and Micro Sculpt Duo for just over 2 weeks and I am pleasantly impressed! I have been using morning and night as recommended. The 2 products definitely work well together. The Miracle boost youth pre-essence goes on first, it smells nice and is quite runny so they are correct when they say a 2 pump dosage, this is enough for the face and neck. I did find it took a little while to soak in before I could apply the Micro-Sculpting cream. The Micro-Sculpting cream has a nice fragrance but not too powerful. It is really easy to apply and a small amount goes a long way. Using these 2 products together I have definitely noticed a small difference in my skin, my pores have reduced and the lines around my eyes appear smoother. My skin feels brighter too. The price is above average but I do think it is worth paying this amount. I love these products and would definitely recommend trying them.

I really like this duo, the packaging is bright, cheerful and you can clearly see you are getting the same range. Solid and classy materials and colours and the engineering behind the dropper lid of the ‘Pre-essence’ is amazing! These products worked well together, I used them both twice a day as directed and over the last 3 weeks, I am sure I have less fine lines and firmer skin, quite an achievement given I have recently lost weight and saggy skin is a frequent side effect. (Although I doubt it would do anything for my bat wings) This is a product up I will continue to use and once my stash is used up, it is something I will purchase, I particularly loved the green apple fragrance of the cream! Yum!

I found the products really easy to apply. The Pre-essence is applied first and gives good coverage. I found the essence made my skin tingle but thought that was just the active ingredients doing its 'thing'. The sculpting cream then went over the top over the top. This gave my skin a reflecting glow which I liked.

I found that my skin became quite 'tacky' feeling which I didn't like too much.

After a week of using this duo my skin became quite pimply so I stopped using them. I recommenced after a week when my skin had cleared and unfortunately my skin reacted again so I stopped the trial. Not sure what caused it but think it may have been the Miracle Boost as my skin tingled when applied.

Olay Micro Sculpt Duo: a product with a lovely scent, a light gel and easy to apply. I did find the product absorbed easily in my skin and the feel was pleasant and felt that it firmed up my skin. Personally felt one pump of the dispenser was sufficient, rather than the two pumps recommended on the packaging.

Olay Miracle Boost: Love the consistency and texture of this creme. It did feel luxurious on the skin, and felt like it did lock in the serum more using this product as part of a skincare regime. I did break out in pimples the first few days but this improved after use.

Result: After less than two weeks using this product, I still need to see the results eventuate from using these products. I do love the serum and feels like this hydrates my skin and using both products, my skin does feel softer. Does it meet the 'Miracle' claim - not yet. I have not seen this as a stand-out from other similar brands or products (yet), but will keep on the regime for another month to see if the benefits shine for me.

I found both products had attractive packaging and with the Olay products being easily accessible and reasonably priced in the supermarket, it certainly is a product I will use in future, if the benefits work for me....time will tell :-)
