Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System Review

I really like the way this has left my skin feeling after using it. I have tried using only the product, the product and brush as well as the brush with another product. The Olay cleanser with the brush works best. The brush helps to remove dead skin cells and leaves the cleaned cells exposed underneath. It has a slightly astringent feel after use. I also tried the system on one arm. The difference between the two arms was very noticable.

The packaging was a lot larger than I expected but looked good.

I really like this system and will continue to use it.

I picked this up from the Warehouse when it was a much hyped item on the forum. I only used it once or twice a week, in the mornings. I haven’t used it at night to remove makeup. I didn’t like the idea of brushing makeup into my skin to remove it.

To be honest, I’m a bit conflicted on this one. It does work well to leave your skin feeling clean and smooth. But since purchasing, I have done a bit more research on cleansing brushes and I’ve decided they’re a bit too harsh for your skin. I’ve also started using chemical exfoliatiors, and this along with double cleansing with a flannel, means that skin just doesn’t feel like it’s needs manual exfoliating as well. The cleanser that comes with this is horribly harsh and smells like plastic! If you are keen to use this brush, use your own cleanser instead.

I stopped using this some time ago. I hear they are great to use on feet or bumpy KP skin on arms and legs so I plan on giving that a whirl some time.

I wanted to purchase the Clarisonic Mia but it's nearly impossible to find a place that will ship to NZ, and the new Trade Me ones that someone is importing are horrendously over priced. I heard about the Olay one and went down to my local Warehouse the same day. It's really cheap! It's not really a thorough clean as I expected (and hoped) it would be, but it does a pretty good job. I've been using it for about a week or two now and haven't noticed a massive change in my skin, but it hasn't done anything bad, so I'll continue to use it in the hopes that it really is deep cleansing!

I bought this for $34.99 at Farmers and have been using it for about 3 weeks.

I have noticed others raving about their ultrasonics and wanted to give one a go without the price tag as do not want to spend on something that could just be quite gimmicky.

The system takes two AA batteries which is included in the box. You also receive a small Olay Regenerist facial wash in the box. When I purchased mine from Farmers they also gave me a free 100ml Olay skin renewal Cleanser. The actual system is really nice, white, little and smooth and is nice to hold. It seems to be water tight which means I keep mine in the shower (out of direct water stream). There are two speeds however I do not find much difference between them both. The brush is really nice and soft. You only get one in the box and advices to change every 3 months (I have not seen replaceable heads). I find it quite relaxing and enjoy letting the system do the cleansing and I simply close my eyes and enjoy. You can see after how much dirt and makeup it has removed when you look at the brush.

When I first started using I found it made me breakout especially on my chin, I feel it almost released the spots I had there waiting under the skin. Now I have stopped breaking out my skin is lovely, clean and smooth. I like that you are able to exfoliate without having to buy an exfoliating wash.

For only $35 gimicky or not I would say this is worth the money. Even just to give yourself a nice face massage.

i dont use this often but i wanted to try it out before spending a lot of clarisonic. BUT i am glad i bought this because even though this brush cleans your face really well i have noticed that i dont use it much. mostly because my skin is very sensitive and the last time i used it it made my skin REALLY sore. it would hurt to put even lotion on. i guess its because my skin is really sensitive. im kinda scared to try it again but its good with removing makeup :) i wish they had brushes for sensitive skin. the brush moving at high speed can really scrape your skin.

I purchased this brush system as I wanted to trial this type of product before going to something a bit more expensive.

Skin feels great after the very first use (and I have been exfoliating several times a week already).

I will continue to use it on face and neck as its doing a grand job and I don't really see the need to purchase anything else at this stage.

Only wish there was more definition between the speeds, but overall very happy with the product and would recommend.

I purchased this after seeing positive reviews and I have to say I really love this brush. I use it about 3 times a week with my cleanser Avene Cleanance gel to exfoliate my skin and have really notice a difference in the texture of my skin. It really smooths it out. It's great because I don't have to go out and purchase and exfoliator now, as this does the job nicely! :D

I dont see any different in my skin rather i use it or not. Probably i use chemical exfoliating cleanser everyday so that i dont have much dead skin cell.

I only know it works when i try to remove my make up, then use the brush on the second wash, i could see lot of make up residue. Now i clean my face twice to make sure no make up left over. That experience change my skin care style a lot that i have less break out now.

I love the soft bristles on this brush and it removes makeup so easily. It foams up the cleanser really well and my skin feels soft and fresh afterwards and it also works well for an exfoliator. A bit more work than using wipes but definitely better results.

This product is great for deep cleansing, however I wouldn't recommend it for regular use. I have quite sensitive skin and was given this as a gift by a friend who would use it on a daily basis. When I started using this I would use it at night as part of my makeup removal routine, however after a few days my skin started to get quite red and irritated. I've now restricted myself to using it once every week or so and very lightly across my skin and I haven't had any problems since. The brush is really nice and soft on the skin and washes of really easily after use. Because I use it at night I wake up the day after and my skin feels really nice and soft. The clenser foams up really nicely and the overall cleansing feels pretty relaxing!
