Olay Regenerist Serum Fragrance Free Review

This serum is just packed with all the good stuff - ingredients that have loads of scientific evidence to prove their efficacy in nourishing and moisturising skin, such as glycerin, niacinamide and amino peptides. I also love that it has no fragrance. It's lightweight, quite silky to apply and melts quickly into the skin, leaving a very slightly satin finish that feels lightly moisturised but not sticky. (I add another moisturiser (with spf of course) over the top in winter if my skin's particularly dry, or a lightweight spf in summer.) I can even use it around my eyes, which are super sensitive and seem to react to everything, even 'proper' eye creams and serums. In terms of doing what it says, Olay claims that it regenerates cells, resulting in deeply hydrated skin, improved firmness and elasticity, and a reduction in lines and wrinkles. I've used this serum for a few years now, and while I think it helps to keep my skin looking its best (I do get a lot of compliments on my skin), and perhaps helps to slow the formation of wrinkles, I'm not sure it has much of an impact on existing lines. But then I don't think any cream can do miracles! I've used some high-priced products in my time, and not one of them has had any significant effect on existing lines. (Had to learn that the hard - and expensive - way!) I aim for nourished, hydrated, protected skin that looks well cared for, and this serum feels like it's doing that extremely well.
