I love all things OPI. My friend got me started years ago when she introduced me to "I'm Not Really a Waitress" and j have been hooked ever since. Every colour undertaken sun available and love some of the celebrity ranges. At the moment I am rocking the chrome look thanks to "Push and Shove" - one of Gwen Stefani's.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review

Tips: Always put two coats, waiting for each to dry COMPLETELY!
For cheap OPI try candygirl.co.nz :)
I really do adore the OPI range of polishes, it has been a long love affair. Lets start with the brush, its a bit thicker and its perfect for the 3 stroke rule to beautiful polish finish. The handle is a great shape, I find it the easiest to hold and really comfortable. The consistency of the polish,is not too thick not too thin. I've always tended to use 2 coats. I've never been disappointed. I am a true fan. Now the base and top coats not a great fan, after a while I find they become quite thick and gloopy so I use another brand of top and base coats. Love when they have the mini sets, gives you a choice of different colors for a great price.
Tips: use a base coat, apply two coats of colour allowing to dry in-between and a top coat.
My Nails never look as good as they do when i have my OPI Colour nails on! No Chips No Streaks No problems. In my job i wear rubber gloves and my nails stay strong with the OPI Polish, which i can not say the same for other polishes that just peel off.
Tips: Base coat then colour and finish with top coat
I tried the pink, orange, black and yellow OPI Nail colours. They looked absolutely amazing on. But the colour chipped off really fast and the 2nd or 3rd time of using it, the product in the bottle had gone extremely gluggy. For such a well named product I was really disappointed at that.
I have always loved OPI for their selection of colours and the quality of the product. But then I started working in jobs that put my hands under a lot of stress. Working in restaurants and now in preschool, OPI just doesn't stand the test of water, chemicals, and constant battering. I still use it if I'm not going to be working for a week or two, but I've found other more hard wearing nail varnishes to keep me looking lovely while I work.
Tips: I have always loved how nicely OPI varnishes come off without leaving a stain.
I've had my nails done for years. New tips, back fills and pedicures and I always choose OPI Nail Lacquer - a different colour each time. The range of colours is wonderful and the quality is excellent. No chipping and very little fading.
With a top coat my nails last 3/4 weeks. Yes, I am sold on this product and always happy to recommend it. Pay a little more and get the best, its worth it.
Tips: Download the OPI app for up to date colour range!
I am a nail polish junkie and I must say, OPI is by far my favourite nail polish brand! The consistency is nice (not too thin or too thick), and the colours are quite pigmented (depending on the colour itself). One of the things I like most about it is that they are also easy to apply and also dries quickly in a reasonable amount of time. It is also fairly easy to remove the nail polish (apart from their glitter polishes, which are just as hard to remove as any other glitter nail polish) and they don't usually stain your nails (but again, this is dependent on the colours, as some colours are more likely to cause slight staining than others). I always apply a base coat and a top coat, and I find that my OPI nail polishes usually last for about a week without chips. However, this will be different for everyone as it depends on what kind of jobs/activities you do that will affect your nails.
The only thing I don't like is how it is so hard to pick which colour to buy, and then to decide which colour I want to apply as well (since there are so many colours to choose from in their range). To be honest, that's about the only thing that I don't like about the OPI nail polish range, if that even counts at all! If you can save up for one, I would really recommend trying it. I did, and now I've never looked back! :)
Tips: Don't forget to apply a base coat before you apply a coat of the chosen nail polish colour. I would say 2-3 coats of the nail colour should be sufficient to get the optimum colour coverage (from what I have found). Then once that has dried, seal it all up with a top coat to protect the nail polish.
I have been buying OPI nail polishes for years and now have far too many to count! Out of all the nail polish brands I have tried, they're still my favourite. I find the consistency is great, smooth and not too thick or thin. They apply easily and have a nice brush tip which delivers a good amount of varnish, I usually use two coats with OPI to achieve a thick, solid colour, although some of the colours you can get away with one. The finish has a nice shine even without a top coat, although I still recommend using one to keep it looking good longer. The colour removes easily and I find that even without a base coat, I have never found they stain my nails which is great. Pricewise, you can often get OPI polishes on special at makeup clearance sales, NZ Sale, ilovebeauty.co.nz and OnceIt, which can save you a fair bit as the individual price tends to be a bit higher than some. One of my favourite things about OPI polish is the branding, the always have such cool names and colours! Overall I would definately recommend OPI.
Tips: The bottles last forever, keep them in the fridge especially in the warmer months to stop the product thickening. If it does, try putting a few drops of nail polish remover in it to help thin it out. Also, if you're not too sure if a colour is really you, try the OPI minis! They're great value for trying out some of the fun and interesting shades OPI comes out with.
OPI is one of those really trustworthy brands that anyone can count on. No matter what colour or shade you are looking for, chances are OPI has it. I would say my only problem with OPI is the price, it can be very expensive. Sometimes they have some really cute packs come out, such as the Mickey mouse ones. Not only are there so many colours but theres a great range of types, such as the crackle nail polish or liquid sands. I would recommend OPI to my friends because its one of those nail polish brands that you can always trust and know it will do a good job.
Tips: Use 2 coats of colour and use an undercoat and top coat otherwise it chips really easy!
I have been a bit of a nail polish fanatic for as long As I can remember and used to get so frustrated that it looked good for a couple of hours and then chip off and NOTHING looks worse than chipped nail enamel.
I haven't found an OPI polish that I haven't liked. It has a nice smooth consistency, it doesn't have a strong smell when you open the bottle. It glides on smoothly and evenly. The finish is great and I love the quirky names they have. So many colours to choose from.
Tips: Use an OPI top coat for a stunning finish. I like the Matte Top coat but that's in another review
