As the title says -it sparkles in the sun! Apart from the amazing texture and super easy to use wide brush ,this would be the most stand out thing for me.I had to put three coats on to get a nice colour-as it dryed it faded out.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: If you are into your Autum/Winter colours this is for you.I would say three coats will give you a nice rich deep colour :) Thanks for the trial Beauty Review xx
I love OPI! Colours and selection are gorgeous and they're always putting out new, innovative products. This liquid sand polish looks absolutely beautiful in the bottle, a stunning blue full of glitter that catches the light.
I received the product two days before the review was due so I was up against time and couldn't judge the longevity of the product. However, I've commented on look and application =)
Given the title of the polish I was weary of the application, thinking it may be gritty and difficult to apply. But the polish applied just as easily as any OPI nail polish. I was impressed!
With the first coat applied I felt a bit deflated as it looked washed out and pale and not awesome at all! But I waited patiently for it to dry (which didn't take long at all) and upon application of the second coat, I got the full effect of the nail polish! It looks stunning on and looks just like a blue, glittery sandpaper - very pretty!
Given its extreme colour and glitter I wouldn't wear it on my fingernails but on my toenails, particularly during summer, it's a definite winner!
Tips: If you don't like the slightly rough feel of the nail polish, put a top coat over it to smooth it over =)
When I first saw the colour, I thought no not me, but the fact that I was trialling thought I had better give it a go. It flowed on nice, the first coat was a bit bland, but the second coat made all the difference, it added a nice sparkle/gloss to it. I will wear it again, but only in the winter,to me it is very much a winter colour. Like all OPI's it flowed on the nail nicely, and lasted really well.
Tips: I did a top coat, but felt it didn't really need it.
Was slightly disappointed with this polish as I expect the best from opi products, and normally get that from them. I found I had to apply 3 coats for an even color of this polish, as it started off pretty streaky! The matte top coat also picked up some of the black even when I had allowed to dry overnight (didnt seem to find this problem with other colors as much.) Overall when applied with the 3 coats this polish does have a nice shine to it on its own and does create a beautiful matte black with the top coat.
Tips: The French manicure using this polish and the matte top coat was surprisingly easier to create than I first expected! And does look very glam! Give it a go! :)
This is quite a runny product, so it takes a while to apply as you also have to apply three layers to achieve the desired results. I absolutly LOVE the finished result, reminds me of a mid winter christmas and snow! :-)
If you like baby blues then this would be a really good polish for you. I bought it on sale at one of those makeup warehouse extravaganza 2 day event thingos and I got home and went "Why on earth did I buy that colour..." It takes 2 - 3 coats to get the colour to look like it does in the bottle, but that's standard nail polish application anyway so no biggie. I do prefer when it's colour true on the first stroke though, maybe it's a light colour thing.
Tips: 2 - 3 coats and use a top coat - OPI is great but it still chips. If you're looking for a nail polish that you can get almost A WEEK out of - not kidding, and that's washing the dishes sans gloves (!) then try one of the liquid sands by OPI.
and why I hear you say? Because like that phrase, this nail lacquer makes no sense!!
I held the bottle up to the light and I could see greens, hints of yellow, beautiful purples, russet brown. It's like a gorgeous oil spill in a bottle. It's a great shame that these colours just don't make it to your nail!
It's not even extreme lighting changes that affect the colour - if I move a toe it changes shade and I really wouldn't mind but the colours range from ooo to meh, to what?!
The deep plum shade which seems to occur most consistently in bright sunlight is gorgeous - its a rich, vampy, juicy colour.
Muir Muir on the Wall fails indoors and in muted lighting, where it turns in to either a mahogany (which is surprisingly dull) or a rather flat earthy brown.
I found two coats essential for shine and like all OPIs it last well and doesn't chip easily.
Tips: Maybe a colour for the toes....that way you can show it off outside in the sun and cover it with socks when you're inside!
I found that this nail polish had a really strong smell, not sure if it was just this colour, I also found it tried a lot brighter but darker than I originally thought it would be, didn't love the colour, land up giving it to a friend but she loves it!
I loved the consistency of this polish, it was very easy to apply and gave a very good finish. It is opaque in two coats however you could put on three to make it a bit bolder. The colour looks more like a blue-grey with silver shimmers, I don't quite like the colour which is a shame because the texture is amazing!
Although this product didn't live up to my expectations, it is a reasonable nail polish with a new and unique finish. The new liquid sand technology dries with a matte finish, as it is expected to, and feels literally like sand has been glued onto your nails. Although the surface dries quickly enough, the texture of the polish causes the underneath to dry slower, and can take up to half an hour. Although the polish did stay on for a week, it chipped quite easily and was starting to wear within a day (with three coats on). When removing the polish, the glitter took a while to come off, and the colour slightly stained my nails. I recommend wearing two base coats to prevent this happening and soaking the nail in remover, before wiping with a cotton swab. Overall, this product has a unique dried effect on the nails, BUT, I recommend this for the younger audience, as it does not have a very professional, sleek look (as I mentioned before about the sand glued on to nails).
Tips: Wear a topcoat of clear polish to achieve a more mainstream look, and help the shine to come through.
