I have several OPI nail lacquer shades, some are opaque shades, others are shiny. This is easy to build up to a opaque shade by adding two or three coats. With the shiny shades I find I can get away with one coat, or for a more subtle shade I add an extra coat. It lasts well, and doesn't chip with an top coat on. I get about 5 days of good colour on my nails before I need to fix them up. The range of shades is amazing! And I love the shade names as well.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review

Tips: Add a top coat to make it last longer.
I love these nail polishes. I have two pinks and a red. These are probably the best nail polishes i have ever used. They are super easy to apply and have the best color pay off. They last for a couple of days before chipping and are so easy to build up color without your nails streaking. I also love the names of these polishes. I think that they are super affordable and are easy to find as most pharmacies sell this brand.
Tips: Apply a clear coat to make it last even longer.
OPI is a safe bet in my opinion. You know you are going to get a quality polish. With a wide selection of colours they have something for everyone and for every occasion. Unlike other brands I've yet to be disappointed in the formula, it's always consistent in my experience.
Who can go wrong when you buy opi? The best nail polishes you can buy in my opinion. An awesome range of colours and the best quality! I have so many of these nail polishes, it's easy to become addicted.
Nothing compares to OPI, there is such a large variety of colours from beautiful, vibrant shades to more cooler, and shimmery colours. The smell of them aren't too strong, but I find they last for quite a while! They are a little hard to get off with nailpolish remover, but the glittery ones are a pain to get off! But overall you can't go wrong with OPI :)
Tips: A top coat and bottom coat is essential to prevent chipping
This is by far my one and only nail polish, I reccomend this to all my friends and actually anyone that wants to know. I love the names, very creative and more importantly the brush is so easy to use, it's the right width and the formula doesn't take hours to dry unless you do like a hundred coats.
Tips: I put mine on just before bed so it has all night to harden ready for a new day :)
OPI is definitely my most trusted nail polish brand for a polish that will last. Often a sucker for a bargain, I do from time to time buy cheaper nail polishes and always end up frustrated when it has all chipped off within a day (or even a few hours)! I have yet to find a good top coat so even using the polish on its own I will get a good 5-7 days before I need to repolish. I really love solid colors (rather than shiny) at the moment and find with these I can get the look I want with 2-3 coats depending on the shade I'm using. The brush is also nice and soft and doesn't leave streaks like I have found with other brands.
Tips: Keep hands dry for at least 2 hours after applying, this helps the polish set better and last longer.
Let's be honest - out of all beauty products, nail polish is probably the most overpriced in NZ compared how how much the product is worth. OPIs, especially, is wayyy overpriced. $$ aside, all the OPI colors I have work well and are holding up really well, even the ones I've had for a long time. Also, there are too many fakes out there - it used to be pretty easy to tell, but now the smell and bottle printing of fakes is improving and I just feel like it's easier to buy another brand such as essie to avoid this hassle.
I love this nailpolish!!! Its the best out, Ina range of great colours and witty names it makes an ideal bday pressie too- HOWEVER my partner brought me some minis for Christmas- a 12 pack and they were shocking! Chipped and came off like a $2 shop nailpolish- i was really disappointed and thought maybe another supplier makes the minis? Has anyone else had this problem?
Tips: I would personally stick to the larger/ normal sized OPIs rather than the Minis.
I was late to the OPI is O for Awesome bandwagon. But better late than never! Previously I thought you had to have some sort of superpower to apply nail polish without looking like you'd reverted back to five year old colouring in techniques (and a whole lot of cotton buds and nail polish remover to help with the clean up). Turns out a good brush makes all the difference! The OPI brush feels like it just sweeps the polish on - perhaps the consistency of the polish helps with this as well? I love the range of colours - there's one to suit any time of year, event or mood. And the fact that I can go three days without a top or bottom coat before I chip the polish is amazing! Definitely recommend - and will be letting my little one use my polishes when she's ready to get all girly rather than letting her get all messy for years like I did ;)
