Opi is a great band with an amazing colour range and new collections out frequently. The polishes generally have good opacity and tke 2 coats to cover the nail. The formulr is lovely to work with, not thick butnot too thin.It dries fast and last really well without chipping.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
This brand of polish is really quick to set and hard as diamonds once set. This was an impulse buy because I loved the blue so much. I have always had compliments when wearing this shade because it is so unusal. It also clashes with everything I wear, because I'm usuallly in black drapey or dark sharp cut silhouettes for work with bright in ya face blue nails to illustrate my cheeky side.
I'd recommend this brand and shade to everyone.
I am the sort of person that usually wouldn't of tried this because of the price I wouldn't pay that much for a nail polish. For my birthday .. I was given a gorgeous Red OPI polish. Tasmanian Devil Made me Do It. My first OPI lacquer !!!! First and foremost ... I have tried many nail polishes especially in my favourite nail colour ... red .... after my first use of my OPI nothing compared ! Not even just a bit !! I felt as though I wasn't paying enough for the quality I was receiving ! Great brush, great quality product, super glossy, long lasting ! Bright, vibrant amazing range of colours with really cute names :)
I collect these polishes and I wouldn't collect any other brand. They go on smoothly and last for weeks. The packaging is a good size and shape. It shows the colour well. I love the cute names they use for the colours. There are so many shades to choose from and you can normally find them at a discounted price.
Tips: Watch out for fakes. Buy when they are on sale. Try not to get too addicted.
I usually only buy OPI because I find they don't dry out as quickly and the brush size is large which means better coverage. The polish also is smooth and glides on easily. The colours look the same on the nails as in the bottle. I do find that they start looking a little bit dull after a week though.
I am a huge fan of OPI nail enamels and have quite an array of colours. I love that they are easy to apply and that they have a nice brush that covers a wide area of my nail so it only takes me a few brushes to cover my nail surface. I also like that when you take the brush out of the polish container it always comes out with just the right amount of polish. I don't have issues with a lot of excess product and it doesn't go gluggy.
I love the glass bottles and that there is nice opening at the top of the bottle and the range of colours are amazing ! Not to mention some of the crazy names that they have.
I find that the nail enamel last days before it cracks and chips. I also like the smell is not to overbearing and that just standard nail polish removes it easily.
Tips: If you would like to prolong the wear of your nail enamel I would recommend a base and top coat.
I have developed a slight addiction to OPI since I first encounted them a couple of years ago. It started with just one... it always does... now my collection is out of control. I have to say that I love the collections they bring out and the names of them are cute and funny. The bottles are robust... one has survived a drop with out consequence but I wouldn't want to risk a second fall... just in case. The brushes make the polishes apply smoothly and effortlessly with great spread and less lines.
I find the pigmentation is great (shade depending) and one coat will give an sheer coverage, and two usually enough to give bottle true tone (alpine white and The It shade of yellow may require 3 for instance).
The formulation dries fast and hardens well (although number of coats used will slow the process). Doesn't chip as easily as some other polishes and if maintained well can last up to a week (maintain by adding a fresh clear coat every 2nd day).
I love the range of colours and types of OPI, everything from textures and shimmers to chunky glitters and Matte; there really is such a huge range.
My favourite shades to date are: Alpine Snow Black Onyx Dutch ya just Love OPI and Black Cherry Chutney Oh and the Matte top coat because it literally doubles your nail polish collection.
Least Favourite bottle is "I juggle Men" it really has No staying power and crazed after a day... wrecking the great job I had underneath it. Was highly disappointed with this but is the only one I have ever found that has done it.
Tips: Be bold and creative <3
I own quite a few OPI nail enamels. I find the colours are amazing and quite different to other brands. The names are clever and imaginative. I alway use a base coat no matter what brand I am using and 2 coats of colour. Then a top coat to finish. I do find the tips of my nails wear off and it will chip easily. I'm not sure if it is because it is thick but it is very annoying as it takes a while to dry. I have found cheaper brands actually last longer which is a shame because OPI is quite expensive.
I am in love with OPI polishes. To begin with the price put me off a little bit, but then I tried one out and OPI is now one of the only polishes l'll use.
The colour range is extensive, varied and fun and with when applied to clean, buffed nails with a base and top coat it lasts for days longer than most cheaper nail polishes. This is a huge plus for me as I work in early childhood, so I wash my hands about 20 times a day.
Tips: Make sure you prepare your nails by cleaning, buffing, and applying a base coat first. This will make the polish last a lot longer.
I love Dark Cherry Chutney, it is perfect for the winter months. It is easy to build it up to the colour you want it to be, I find it is reddish when I apply a first coat but after two or three it is a dark sparkly purple. I bought mine from duty free for $14 so definitely worth the purchase!
