I brought this nail polish because I love glitter so what better then it being a top coat and have glitter in it! I was disappointed unfortunately because you could barely see the glitter and it only lasted two days in my nails before it started to chip away. Stick to sally Hansen for top coats

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: Don't buy
Okay looking at these other reviews I am shocked, because honestly I hate this nail polish. Usually OPI is amazing and they generally come through with their colours, but for me this one was a total fail. I got it because I wanted to dress up entirely in yellow to be a Pikachu every once in a while and I thought this was the perfect colour to compliment my little outfit and to add a little fun to it. For me, it is streaky, it is so so so so so insanely sheer and even after 3 coats I'm still not happy with it. I'm really not sure what to think, but I won't be spending $20+ on it again.
I purchased a 15ml yellow colour nail lacquer from an airport duty free shop in the U.K. when using I found it runny and not adhering to nails. I contacted customer service and their response was technically not purchased in the U.K. so tough we're not interested. They saved £10.90 at the cost of me not purchasing their product again.
Tips: DON'T BUY.
OPI gets so much hype, and every single girl I know raves about these. Except maybe me.
I always cringe when ladies tell me that they pay almost $26 for a bottle of nail polish. Call me cheap but there are many things I could put that money towards instead of spending it all on ONE bottle of nail polish.
My experience with these babies, hasn’t been the greatest either. I have about 10 bottles, purchased from the ASB show ground sales of course (they are almost 60% off the retail price) and I’ve found them all to be very short lasting, and chip really easily. I’m wondering if that has anything to do with the fact that I purchased them from the show grounds? Maybe they are expired ones? I’m not too sure.
I’m not one to take time in applying base coat and top coats, which I have heard from different people, either makes the polish easier to chip, or makes it last longer. Two very different opinions.
I do adore the range of colours available. There is SOO many and they keep it very fresh and interesting, but bringing out a new range every couple or so months. I usually use the OPI colours as a template and try to find the same but from a different brand, which sometimes - more often than not - proves to be difficult. OPI definitely produces the widest and best range of colours. However as I mentioned above, I would rather survive not having the colour, or having something similar, than paying 25 dollars for a bottle. That, to me seems ridiculous.
On a side note - A really good nail polish brand that I love and use is LA Girl. They are available in a wide variety of colours, shades, and collections. Also cheap and long lasting.
I have a few of these as I've either been given them or purchased them at a discounted price because I keep forgetting my opinion on them. My opinion is that I don't like them, so let me tell you why.
They're not cruelty free. Not that this is a big thing in my decision making at all, but I know for a lot of people that this IS a big thing. Another reason I don't like them is the staying power - with or without a base and top coat - I find they only last a few days, 3 at most before I start to see chips.
I have a few shades, but the names escape me. I have a lovely red that reminds me of Dorothy's slippers, a blue that dries kind of like a sand (I especially hate this one), a very baby pink and a shimmery sheer white (I like this one but it's super hard to remove).
They apply nicely and I find the formula mostly opaque but the fact that they don't last more than 3 days on my nails is a bit of a shame and well, I prefer other brands.
OPI nail polishes are not bad per se, but considering how expensive they are, I really don't think they are worth it. Chips really easily, even with a good base and top coat. They do have an extensive range of colours though.
Tips: You can get way better nail polishes for only like $3 – don't waste your money on OPI
This nail polish is the perfect colour but it took so long to dry and it chippeed the next day- Classic look just needs a bit of prep before applying :(
Tips: dip your fingers in cold water before applying and use 3 coats
This is my opinion, but I do feel that OPI is over rated. One bottle is $18+ (in NZ) and the nail polish is no better than L’Oreal nail polishes. Yes the color selection is nice and the bottle fits nicely in the hand, but the polish lasts no longer that my L'oreal ones or even cheaper brands.
I do love the gold crackle effect polish though.
Beautiful colour. Really bright and fresh and exactly what I want in a white nail polish. But sadly I find that it comes off within only an hour it starts chipping (not a nail biter) just doing everyday things made it come off. Didn't even last a day
I have used this O.P.I colour for my nails, and it is the only O.P.I product I will use. I was not pleased at all, I had to apply 3 coats to get any decent coverage, And after 2 days It was already chipping away. I wasn't pleased at all
