I find OPI chips really easily I am a very active busy worker and I find after 2 days my nail varnish has chipped but this is due to alot of wear and tear in my job. I find the OPI sand range brilliant as it doesnt chip and I can go 3 weeks without repainting it. I love how easy it it to apply the coats, how good they look, the brilliant range of colours. Not a fan of the shatter range though and find them quite pricey in contrast to other brands

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: Use a base coat, 1 or 2 layers of lacquer and a top coat for best results
I tried this colour a few weeks ago and though normally not a blue fan I quite liked this colour. It is a more teal/duck egg colour , a great year round colour.
I love this range of nail polish. There are so many different colors available and they do what they say, it does last longer than other brands I have used in the past. I found this actually worked better than paying to get gel nails done as it did not chip as quickly.
Tips: Keep an eye out as they often have 2 for 1 specials etc so you can get a really good deal.
I really love this product. Great colours, and creative names :) When used with base coat and top coat lasts a long time without chipping too much.
Tips: Make sure to use base coat and top coat, makes such a difference.
I loveeee this colour, it is definitely a classic red. I do find I have to do a couple of coats to get the consistency I like but it doesn't take too long to dry. It does chip reeeeally quickly though, like the same day.. but I just love the colour
Tips: use a base and top coat to help with the chipping
I do love OPI, the range of colours is so vast, and they are easy to apply. I do find two coats is a necessity, and a top coat is needed to prevent chipping. I also find some of the glittery ones incredibly hard to remove. They also (particularly the crackle shades) tend to clog up on the brush/spout easily which makes it hard to use once you've used it a bit, I end up getting frustrated and throwing them out before the pot is even finished - lumpy nail polish is not a good look! So for me, it's a 4/5 - so close, but just not quite top marks!
I love how there's so many different colours. The bottle is a decent size and defiantly lasts longer than most brands.
OPI is the renowned nail polish brand, however it lives up to its name.
After buying OPI I'm not likely to ever buy a cheap or different branded nailpolish ever again. I know I can trust OPI's quality.
They have a massive range of colours, styles and the number one thing is that they stay on for much longer and chip less frequently/quickly.
I find that if I use a top clear coat ontop of my OPI it can stay for over a week without chips.
OPI is constantly bringing out new colours and brands and ranges. They are on the exspensive side but are 100% worth it, I normally wait for sales to buy mine.
Tips: Base coat and top coat for best colour.
OPI have a great colour range & bring out amazing limited edition sets to match whatever trends are in (eg: movies, colourways etc) so i have a huge collection!
But i have found that if you use the full range (#1 basecoat or strengthener, #2 colour & #3 top coat) then you will get great vibrant results that last for up to two weeks BUT if you use other brand base or top coats your paint will start to chip within a couple of days.
I have also found that when applying colour you need to apply more than one coat otherwise a majority of colours will be slightly transparent or streaky - the second colour coat makes the finish much more even.
Overall i feel they are a very strong product and great quality , they just need to be used with their own range of support polishes or treatments :)
Tips: Always buff your nail surface before applying basecoat for a perfect texture & finish effect.
I love OPI nail polishes! I have tried other brands around the same price range and I would have to say OPI is the only one definatly worth the money! The colour range available is great! The formula is nice and thick enough not to need more than one coat and it doesn't take forever to dry. By by far favourite colour is My Private Jet, its a charcoal almost black with specks of suttle glitter in it. The only thing I will say about OPI is the staying power isn't great, I wouldn't say that they last any longer than a more affordable brand. But the finish coat of the OPI nail lacquers looks just like a salon job :)
