I finally bought me an OPI nail polish as the ones I were using were not great at all and chipping too often. I'm not a nail addict as I apply makeup all the time and don't like them getting in the way but as soon as I tried this stuff I put it back on after it started chipping. I applied two coats and it lasted like a week without chipping and I got heaps of compliments. From there this is the only brand I will buy :)

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: Clear coat underneath helps it not chip away and two coats give it that extra hoomphhhhhh ;)
I find that with the use of a base and top coat, this brand of nail polish remains chip-free for atleast a week. There is a great selection of colours and the quality of the formula is great. Most colours apply smoothly, and only take a few coats to get an even coverage. The formulas also dry quite fast which is always a bonus. So although it may be a little more expensive, it is definitely worth the price.
I really love OPI. The range of colours allows you to do different things with you nails. The colour dries out quickly if you don't use it regularly or shake it regularly so would recommend shaking the bottle every so often.
OPI is so awesome because there are so many colours to choose from! Definately lasts longer without chippping compared to other brands which is also a bonus :)
Tips: Shake the bottle before use :)
This was the first liquid sand that I bought and I really like it. One coat was so opaque, which shocked me as the others I tried were more sheer. Two coats was perfect. I love how forgiving liquid sands are, so they're easy to fix if you smudge it. I felt like it stayed on my nails quite well, I always use a base coat (Orly Bonder). If you want to maintain the matte-like finish, but without the texture, you can use a matte top coat.
Tips: Don't rub your nails to remove the colour. Break a cotton ball (or 2) into enough pieces to evenly cover each nail, dip it in nail polish remover, apply to each nail, wait a little, and slowly wipe it off.
Totally love OPI and all is different colour choices, not to mention the hilarious quirky names. Definitely a top of the line brand, even I manage to keep it chip free for the msot part!
Tips: Top and base coats are a must, and don't skimp and buy other cheaper brands for the top and base, I find the OPI colour works the best with their own top and base
OPI has a huge array of colours ... So many fab options that its hard to choose just one! I find if I use base & top coat it lasts 5-7 days before chipping, if I dont use base & top coat it only lasts 3-5 days! I have also found it only lasts around 6-8months once opened as it goes really thick! Its a reliable polish that I would always recommend to my friends.
Tips: Keep in the fridge to help it last longer! Use base coat, top coat & drip dry to ensure maximum staying power.
I love the range of colours and how they don't get gloopy easily. Unfortunately they do tend to chip after a couple of days, especially if you get your hands wet quite often. Alternatively, I have had issues with the glitters- purely because they are difficult to take off! Other than that, love love love them!
I have quite the collection of OPI nail lacquers (I was lucky enough to get them at cost price when managing a Salon). I absolutely love them, and you really can't beat the range of colours OPI offer.
I have had most of my lacquers for near on 5 years; they have even travelled with me around the globe on multiple occasions and are still in good usable condition (not gluggy, thick or hard).
The lacquer is a perfect consistency - not too thick or too thin, so with most colours you only need to apply 2 coats (some light/sheerer colours may need 3). The brush is a good length and width, and makes application fast, smooth and easy. OPI lacquers are self-leveling, so they dry even and streak free.
OPI are known for the quirky name they give to each shade. My colour of the moment (it's been a long moment!) is Mod About You. It's a solid candy-floss/baby pink from the Brights Collection.
I do find these a bit of a 'splurge' luxury product, so I really have to love a colour before I purchase it at full price. I've never been disappointed.
Tips: Use a base and top coat for maximum colour longevity. Don't just stick to one colour! Get creative! eg. paint your 3rd finger a different colour, or put a twist on the traditional French Manicure by using bright and contrasting colours.
I love OPI, being a Nail Technician I have always worked with this Nail Polish brand and a few others, I love all the variety of shades to go with different clothes, emotions, personalities the list goes on, the polish is hard wearing either on your natural nails, gels, acrylic etc. Also I have found it always dried rather fast, so big thumbs up from me for this product.
Tips: Be careful collecting all of the different shades can be addictive! ;) Always apply a base coat under your colour to seal your natural nails oils and a top coat to keep from chipping and colour fading :)
