Opi is one of my favourite nail brands, if not my favourite. I have at least 10-15 opi nail polishes in my collection and I've only had an issue with one. I really like the formula, which is a good consistency, not too thick so that its gloopy and tacky, and not too thin. The formula is really smooth and easy to apply. There is no streaking or bubbling.
The colours are opaque and vivid. I always apply two coats of colour with a base coat underneath and I find this is enough to get a solid colour on your nails. The polish has a glossy finish to it but I always like to put a top coat in top as well. I find that this polish, with top and base coat, will set at least a week before chipping.
The brush is a bit bigger than your standard nail polish brush. The brush has a flat shape which I like as it means you can paint you whole nail in three nice strokes. I hate the tiny nail polish brushes that you have to apply with a million strokes which causes the polish to become streaky.
Overall I really like these polishes as they are long lasting, there is a huge colour range, and they are really easy to apply. I definitely recommend these polishes and will purchase more colours.
This is one of my winter favourites. I love how it's a deep shade that's red with a tinge of sparkly fuschia to make it seem like a really gorgeous jewel tone. The burgundy colour that results is a great pairing with a dark purple or oxblood lippy.
Two thin coats were enough for an opaque finish, which is awesome for an impatient person like me. i also found this really long lasting! It didn't chip until about a week in, and I'm really rough with my hands day-to-day so that's really good.
I would definitely recommend this as a gorgeous winter shade.
Tips: The key with this is definitely applying very thin coats. I once slopped on too much and couldn't get it to smooth and not have bubbles no matter how much I tried.
