OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: Make sure you put a top coat on.
I bought this shade after I had it applied on my nails during a manicure. It lasted longer than other polish, which is likely due to the texture disguising any possible chips.
The colour and texture are amazing, and I find that just one coat is enough, rather than my usual 2 coats of polish.
Tips: Due to its texture, this polish can be quite hard to remove. I wrap cotton pads soaked in polish around my nails (you can either hold them or wrap tin foil around them), leave them for a few minutes, then wipe the polish off without having to scrub my nails.
Ok, so being the nail polish addict I am (I own wayyy to many...obviously the fumes get to my head), I bought this based on the liquid sand hype. I am personally more of a silver person but figured I needed at least one gold in my collection. I love this colour. Its such a soft colour that I feel it would suit many different skin tones and age groups.
In terms of the polish itself, I feel like the liquid sand polishes really stick to the nail and last longer than regular glitters. They last quite well and dont chip as easy which is always a bonus! I am with no hesitation a huge fan. Thumbs up!
Tips: Two coats MAX. No base or top coat required.
Liquid sand is ultimately my now favourite nail polish! It glides on very smoothly and not having to worry about clumps!! The best thing I have noticed about liquid sand is, if you chip the polish, you can easily add more in the nail without it looking clumpy.
Thank you BR team! Xx
Love all the liquid sand nail polishes by OPI, but this one is my favourite because the colour is amazing!!! Fun, sparkly and a little different because of the harsh texture.
Loved this nail polish, you definitely need two coats but that's pretty much a given with most OPI nail polishes. I loved alpine snow because it is just slightly off white with kind of grey undertones, its wearable all year round and looks especially good during the summer with a tan!
Tips: Use a base and top coat with this polish, and do two coats.
I found this nail polish to be better than a few, but I also found that it chips quite easily with my work too. I would put it on in the morning and it'd be chipped by that night or the next morning. I work in the hospitality industry. I found the colour, however, very nice! It was a very gorgeous and vibrant colour.
Tips: Use an undercoat and a top coat if you want it to last longer! :)
I have 36 OPI polishes (obviously I love them :P) and think they are one of the best polish brands available. I find they last a decent time without chipping or wearing and dry time isn't horrendously long.
They have a beautiful range of shades (I would get them all if I could) and the formula is always great and goes on streak/clump free.
They also have the cutest names which I find cool and a good sized brush. They are pretty pricey in comparison to other brands on the market but they often come on sale and for the quality and shades available I think they are worth the price.
Tips: Always add a base and top coat if you want your nails to stay chip free for longer.
I never understood what the deal with OPI polishes were until I used them.
Prior to using and owning them, I always thought most polishes are created equal - except for the price.
Then I picked up OPI's Bond Girls set and instantly fell in love. The colours are super vibrant, pigmented and easy to apply.
They last longer without chipping on my nails and are easy to remove (except for the glitter shades).
Now I am a convert to them and am slowly building up my OPI collection.
i absolutely love this color!!!! always makes me feel a tad 'fancy' when i wear it all though it picks up the color of my foundation at times but lovely lovely color
