Ooove this brand! This has now become.the only brand I use. Two coats of any colour-it doesnt chip easily and isnt like those see through nail polishes that just look downright gross. Love love love

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: O coats is always better than one!
Ok, let's be real. OPI is like THE nail polish brand. Everybody knows it's amazing, and everyone knows why. All the colours I've tried have been a really good formula, really opaque (sometimes even in one coat, which is amazing) and some beautiful colours. They don't tend to chip easily, especially with a great top coat.
My absolute favourite go-to colour is Taupe-less Beach, which is part of the Brazil Collection, I think. It reminds me of Lime Crime's Cashmere in nail polish form. It is amazing. Plus it's pretty opaque in one coat. Not completely but you could definitely get away with it if you were in a rush.
The only one colour I have found that I don't like is a beautiful colour, but a crappy formula. It's called You're Such a Budapest and it's a beautiful periwinkle blue/light violet with really subtle shimmer in it. Ugh, it is so gorgeous. The problem I have is that it literally takes at least 3 coats to be opaque/not streaky. I don't have time for that so I never reach for it :(
All in all, this is a fantastic brand with so many amazing colours and pretty consistantly awesome formulas.
When I applied the polish it felt so beautiful when it was fully dry, so smooth I actually kept feeling my nails all day haha. It is a beautiful pastel pink colour and was very easy to apply and applied nice and evenly. It did however need 2 coats for a full coverage as one was not enough. I did not have enough time for a clear coat but it didn't chip/dent all day. Over all I am very happy with OPI, they did an awesome job with this nail polish! :)
Tips: Don't do what I did and add a clear coat to make it even shinier and to make it last forever :)
My nail polish box is full of them. Love the flat brush which makes it so easy to apply. The colours are beautiful and shine. The smell isn't as bad as most polish which help with my two little girls that enjoy pretty colours on their nails during the school holidays.
Tips: Wait for a sale and go crazy :-)
OPI is THE nail polish brand. When you think about nail polish, OPI is the first brand you think about.
Comes in multiple colours, shades, types, packs. Shimmers, Matte, Glitter, Clear Coats.
The brush glides over the nail & leaves you almost with a streak free layer. You might need to do 2-3 coats to get it perfect with no streaks but 2 thin layers should be fine with any sort of OPI nail polish.
Great formula, always lasts a long time & colours always look great and have a good depth to them
The easiest nail polish to apply and it doesn't try too fast. Some nail polish brands that I've tried with equal coat quality either dry super fast or take forever then end up putting layer upon layer and it peels off (probably because I'm not patient enough).
OPI has so many different variety in shades and finishes you really can't go wrong. It's also the nail polish I find the best when doing nail art, such as marbling!
Very happy!
I love this colour for summer! It just makes my nails look elegant and feminine with a little bit of edge. Opi always is lovely and thick and lasts longer on me than other brands I have. I like that it feels like quality as you apply it.
Tips: Apply at night before bed to really allow them to dry without getting chipped early
I have got the Wizard of oz minis and around 10 full size ones in various colours from pale pink, white, reds and dark green and a few liquid sands which I love and adds some great texture to a manicure. I did find them quite expensive for what they are - nail polish! But now that farmers have lowered the price and they quite often have two for deals etc I find my collection growing. The brushes are the best that I have tried and so far none in my collection have gone gluggy or turned bad. Opi have definitely got the best colour collection out there and with frequent new Collections coming out there's always more to choose from.
Tips: Keep an eye out for farmers deals and you earn beauty points too.
The first time I tried this, it was when I went to get a manicure. Initially I was just expecting a plain metallic looking silver, but was very pleasantly surprised with the duochrome finish! It looks lovely on the nail.
It applies smoothly and lasts long without chipping (depending on how hard wearing on your nails you are and how much you do with your hands), which is typical of all OPI polishes. However, it does apply quite sheer so it does take a few coats before it is fully opaque, but the finish is definitely worth it. One of the best OPI shades there is in my opinion.
OPI is one of those brands. Even if you're not a nails girl you've probably seen it and heard of it. The colours are great, and varied, the names are cute and the quality is consistent.
Over the years I've used a lot of OPI polishes and still have a lot in my collection. With the exception of the shatter polishes, none have dried out or gone gross.
I have sheer polishes, vibrant polishes, glitter, shatter, dark.... really, with OPI, if you can conceive a shade or finish they probably have it. Most nail places that I've been to use OPI as well which means you can trial before you buy if you're in the habit of getting a mani/pedi done.
The finish on these polishes is pretty consistent, and the life of them is reasonable, especially if you use a quality top/base coat. The only real sticking point is the price - full price is too much, I feel. I usually pick mine up in sales or duty free where thy are much more reasonable
