This shatter nail polish did work well the first couple of times that I used it, but I did leave it for a while and I found that it had gone really lumpy and wasn't really useable after that. This nail polish also didn't last very long on my nails which was disappointing as it did look reasonably nice when it was first out on

I loved the concept of the shatter ! When I did get it I was a bit disappointed with the finished looked as it dried with a matte finish - Only having it for a couple of month the lacquer become thick and unusable :( was very disapointed
Tips: - Try not to leave the bottle open too long when you are using it as the chemical that makes the shatter effect reacts with oxygen and thats why it does become gugly over time
While I thought the concept of shatter was really cool, as it was this new fad and something different, I found that I was underwhelmed with the end result. It can also become streaky if you haven't got enough polish on the brush or the whole thing will stuff up if you go over the same spot twice. The look also hugely depends in what base colour you use. For instance while a dark base colour looks good with the metallics, it looks horrible with blue or pink. This is because the dark colour comes through underneath and just looks like a total mess. I have three of four of these and haven't touched the bottles in like, a year! But if you like the edgy, rocker sort of look then you'll like this :) I did also like the look of a dark blue or black under the metallic gold or silver.
Tips: Be careful with the base colour you choose and be careful when applying it, make sure not to go over placed where you have already applied polish.
Shatter can only be pulled of with certain outfits.
If not done right it can come across as tacky.
You really need to ensure you pick the right base colours to go with the shatter.
Tips: Make sure you have enough polish on the brush to apply just one stroke of shatter to the nail otherwise it can get bulky and ruin the entire nail look
It's pretty average. It clumps up super easily as it drys fast and it is a lot of effort to get it on the nail. I'd save your money and buy dollar store shatter polish as it works a lot better.
Although it does what is supposed to it is very clumpy, also dry out very easily I had a brand new one which I had used once and it was fun the next time I went to use it, it had all dried up :(, recently used again, found it to not set correctly and it looked disguisting
I like the idea of this, But I found it to be a little tricky for me and it dried up and clumped up easily.
OPI is my favourite Nail Polish however Shatter is really only good for a night out. It can sometimes make your nails look a bit ratty if you apply it too thick.
Not very good. It clumps a lot and only works well for the first few tries. Though OPI is a great brand, Im not fond of the shatter.
I've tried to use this a few times and just can't seem to get to shatter properly! I've tried the black and the white...maybe it's just me. But if I have to make such an effort to make my nail Polish go on right, then why bother. I'll probably give it another go at some point but I don't think I'll buy it again.
