I used the shatter nail polish a few times. It was thick and kind of hard to apply. It did make the shatter look but it started to come off within a couple of days. I really liked the innovative style OPI has and I love their regular nail polish, however shatter looks like something for a teenager and to me looks dirty/cheep on older people.

Tips: Use a hair dryer to dry the polish faster. It also makes the cracks a bit bigger so you can really see the colour underneath.
I brought this product at a beauty sale after hearing so much about it on tv. I wasn't too impressed with it. The color didn't come out as well as I thought it would and didn't go very well over the top of my normal base coat. Then it took forever to get off, even after only having it on for a day or two. Haven't used it since.
Not a fan of this nail polish at all. I found it far to think and gloopy making it hard to apply and get the proper affect. One the nail it didn't look half as good as what I expected. Tried to use it a couple of things and never used it since.
These OPI shatter polishes shatter, but it really depends which colour you're using. The consistencies of the polishes are all different. The black is probably the best with a thinner coat while others such as the metallics and white need thicker coats to use. It works fine if you test before using on your nails to find out the best thickness of the coat to use. Add a top coat and these will be fine.
Tips: Swatch each shatter polish that you want to use before hand and you'll avoid any horrible shatter experience on your nails.
I was quite disappointed by this product. You have to have certain colours for it to have a good impact which means having to buy even more nail polish (nice one OPI) You also cant use a top coat otherwise the shatter smudges and looks terrible. You have to be careful when applying cause i found the shatter can turn out clumpy. I found it totally wasn't worth the stress of applying it.
Will never buy this product again....If you want to have tacky nails by all means purchase this product. OPI is my favourite brand of nail polish but this shatter range is really letting their brand down :(
i purchased this nail polish when it was on sale thinking it would an awesome range because i love the whole OPI range. It was a bit disappointing. it doesn't look as good on my nails as i thought it would. maybe i should give this another try but atm its not one of my favourite. there are other better brands of nail polish that have a shatter range that are better.
Definitely not what the excitement made it out to be. I had so much trouble gaining the effect it said it would produce, so unfortunately I was put off this product! Very disappointed as I love their normal polish selection
personally, some of the colours are much better than others in this range as the shatter is more visible and the colour is more vibrant ie- the blue, red and black were the strongest. what I probably dislike about the shatters is that if you go over the shattered part again if you missed a spot, it doesn't give the same effect and goes all weird.
Tips: if you find the shatter bad, then just apply 2 or 3 coats of the shatter polish over a base coat, the polish won't really shatter and you get a full colour.
a bit glugy (is it even a word) . Needed to be used quick as it kept drying to like a powder. Unsure if it was just the one i was using or if it happends to a few? Nice colours though
