I found that it wouldnt shatter as it is supposed to which i was dissapointed about. But might buy another one eventually to make sure it wasnt just that one that doesn't work.

I have the Dark Blue and Red. The Blue has a cool effect over white. It didnt work very well on a different branded base polish, it dried and looked over dry, when I used a clear top coat it kind of smudged the effect. So diffentialy stick to OPI for the base colour. The red shatter just looked horrifing, I wouldnt recommend that colour. Found it good for an occasional change, but wont be going out of my way to buy again.
Tips: Stick to the OPI as base colour with this shatter polish.
Not a huge fan on OPI shatter nail polish. First of all, I think the effect is rather tacky, second of all I have found cheaper brands of shatter to do the exact same thing, and thirdly it's not a very nice consistency.
Personally I think shatter nail polishes are overrated. they do shatter but look better in pictures. you also have to practise with the amount of shatter you use in the brush as that affects the end result. I bought some when shatter was in "trend" (I have the blue, pink, gold, silver, navy and super base shatters), but ave only really used them once each. I got carried away thinking they were cool and bought a whole lot at the same time, but now prefer just plain colour or nail art
Tips: Pair it with your base colour carefully as that affects the look. For example the blue and pink are quite light and so become transparent over dark colours, which ruins the look. White generally works for all of them. Too much on your brush results in it being thick on your nail and not shattering, but you do need a decent amount in order to shatter.
I have the black version of this and maybe it's just me, but I can never get it to look as good as it does in pictures! It never seems to shatter properly or evenly when I put it on - maybe I just need more practice...
Purchased the Black Shatter when they first came out and probably tried every colour underneath lol. Took a little while to get the thickness right so the shatter looked good but never as good as in the OPI pictures. Found that it got thicker in the bottle the more I used it so wasn't impressed with that. I actually have a gold from Color Club and its fantastic, its alot thinner in consistency and the crackle is great. I am a OPI freak but unfortuantly this is probably my least favourite OPI polish
I loved this effect but I think the colour range is very limited. It takes a few minutes to fully reveal and the thicker the coat the better it works. Make sure you mix your bottle thoroughly. Pair it with a glitter base or accent a feature nail with it.
Tips: Apply a thick coat and don't go over it once its on... allow to dry for at least 5 minutes before applying a clear top coat to seal. Works best on contrast colour bases.
Was given this product as a gift and after trying it i wouldnt go out and buy it for myself. I found that you couldnt go over where you had just painted because it ruined the whole look of the nail. I found it very difficult to apply because it dried up so fast. I thought the price range was too costly for me.
I used to like this product but am kind of over it and think its gone out of fashion. But does look nice as tips only or a feature nail
Tips: use quite quickly as it can go gluggy and dry up
It does leave a cool effect after. However after awhile I got bored of the effect and the top colours can be hard to match.
Tips: When it dries out it's hopeless and won't leave the shattered effect anymore
