I am a smoker so thought it would be worthwhile to try this product out. Panned the whole thing and I am not so keen on this product. The intense minty taste is just too much for me I didn't like it. I did notice a visible difference that my teeth were whiter. So if you like a super strong minty taste with added benefit of teeth whiting then this product would be for you.

I accidentally grabbed the smokers toothpaste instead of the normal red seal baking soda one which is my all time favourite. I am not a smoker and my teeth are not majorly stained but I tried this out anyway.
The packaging is standard and simple looking. It is a bit more expensive than normal toothpaste but I don't mind paying for a quality product.
It has the same gritty texture as others in this range. It is quite strong which I quite like and makes your mouth feel clean and fresh.
I did like it however I will stick to my holy grail baking soda toothpaste. I feel this would be awesome for smokers to keep a fresh, clean mouth.
I picked this toothpaste up in my weekly grocery shop. I used to be a smoker. My teeth got stained regularly. I needed something that was strong enough to mask my smoke breath.
One tube is quite long in size. Packaging is straight forward easy to read. The texture of this paste is smooth but slightly gritty. The flavour of it is mint. It's quite strong but I like that.
Application is easy with this tooth paste . It foams up nicely. It didn't whiten my teeth. My teeth still looked the same. It did make my breath feel fresh and clean.
Overall I think it's good for taste but not whitening. It's priced fairly . I probably won't repurchase this item again.
I've used this toothpaste many times as I like that it's very strong, it's the strongest toothpaste that i've ever used, by a long way. Strong as in seriously minty and refreshing, I feel that i'm getting a really good clean with this toothpaste.
I'm not convined of the stain removing ability of this toothpaste however, although it would be difficult to tell considering that I switch between using this toothpaste and the Red Seal baking soda one, which is similar.
This toothpaste is bound to be too strong for many, my partner won't touch it, and one wouldn't dream of giving it to a child to use. It's heavy duty stuff this one.
I've repurchased this toothpaste many times and will continue to do so until I discover something that I like better.
I am not a smoker but tried this as my supermarket no longer stocks the toothpaste I prefer and thought this would be good, as I feel many of the pastes are too smooth now and I don't get a really clean feel. The taste is good and leaves my breathe much fresher . It certainly is more abrasive than many toothpastes and I like that cleaner feel Easy tube to use and I feel the cap goes back on the tube better than some .
Tips: Unsure if it is whitening my teeth better but I think I will continue to use a whitening toothpaste alternately
I bought this toothpaste, even though i'm not a smoker, cause i love extra minty toothpaste and that fresh clean feeling. Plus my morning breath is pretty manky ;) This stuff is seriously amazing, I love that all red seals toothpastes don't have fluoride, it gives us, the consumer the chance the option whether to use fluoride products or not instead of having it forced on us. I have definitely noticed that my mouth feels fresher for longer when using this toothpaste as opposed to other brands, i can't speak on the whitening claims but i'm not fussed as that wasn't why i bought it. No more morning breath! Another huge selling point is that it is affordable! They retail for around $2.99, can get them a bit cheaper on sale, so worth it for this product!
I use this toothpaste often , atleast a few times weekly. I love the strong mint flavour and it does give you fresh breath!!!
It's so easy to use , you just simply use it like you would any other toothpaste.
It does scrub away coffee and tea stains. I am not a smoker so I never used it for that purpose , I just always used it for stain removal.
I like it better than peroxide toothpastes as that makes my teeth super sensitive, I have vertical cracks all though my front teeth and they are all capped. The problem with caps is that the acrylic they use is really hard to whiten.
I also have a full crown on one tooth and the reason why I don't use this every day is the dolomite powder is pretty abrasive and it almost files down that tooth. So be aware of that one..
Otherwise it's an awesome toothpaste!! I even get my kids to use it. It works very quickly. I got asked by my aunty how do I keep my teeth so white I still thought my teeth were yellow because I hardly drink water (I neeeeed to after a coffee) mostly coffee.. I said this stuff!!
Tips: Be wary of caps and crowns :)
I've tried Red Seal Smokers toothpaste several times over the years.
In terms of packaging, it comes in a tube in a box and looks like any other brand of toothpaste.
The toothpaste itself, it a thick whitish paste, similar to any other toothpaste. The taste isn't particularly minty and not a flavour I really like.
Having used several tubes without noticing any difference between them and ordinary toothpaste ( with a less pleasant taste than other brands), I switched to whitening brands, which, while a little more expensive, I found much more effective and therefore worth the extra money. I didn't notice any extra stain removal from this toothpaste unfortunately, either when I did smoke and when I'd stopped.
I use a lot of Red Seal products, mainly supplements, and I really like the brand, but the toothpaste is a non starter for me.
I bought this because I've read reviews where people said it removed yellow stains from their teeth. Let me tell you, it does! I don't drink coffee or tea all that often, and I smoke moderately, so my teeth are a bit yellow-tinged. This removed the tinge after a few uses, restoring my white teeth!
It has a very strong mint taste (don't use if you have a cut gum or an ulcer) but I enjoy it as it feels fresh. However, it's not a toothpaste I will use regularly as it is quite abrasive for everyday use, no matter what they say. I think it's about 3 dollars at New World or Countdown.
