When I frist tried this product it brought back flashes of my child hood when my nana would scrub my teeth with baking soda, this toothpaste is very strong in "baking soda" taste. Its great how its a natural product, the less chemicals the better that we subject ourselves and family to the better. I did feel though that it didn't clean my teeth as well as other toothpastes have though or have any whitening properties. The packaging isn't the upmost appealing out there however it is a great product for the price that you pay for it. They also have a smokers one that is fantastic at whitening teeth. I would by far favour that one over this one in the benefits of whitening and feeling clean

Love the packaging! The feel of he tube intrigued me too.i jumped on the bandwagon of this a while ago when it was all the rage on a Facebook group I am on. And I never went back. My partner still uses Colgate so we buy two every time! I swap between this one and the smokers one and find them both really good. At first the taste and texture is a bit odd but cause it's natural and good price too I stuck with it and now I stock up incase, because I don't want to have to get another brand if I can't find this
I was looking for a new whitening toothpaste and saw this on special for only $3 so decided to give it a go. I love that it is natural! The taste at first is strange but you definately get used to it. The texture is quite gritty also which is something I have never had before. I have been using this for only 3 weeks and I can see a huge difference so it definately works. Will be a staple for me now...love it :-)
My local supermarket stopped stocking my usual toothpaste that i've been buying for the past four years (Whiteglo), so I was forced to turn to something else. At the time this one was on special (2 for $5 - bargain!) Not only that but this one stood out to me as the packaging is non generic looking as most of them are, and it's a 'natural' product.
This toothpaste tube is around about regular size, and it looks and feels a bit cool and different as it's matte, as opposed to the regular shiny tubes.
The texture of this toothpaste is a little gritty, and it doesn't foam up much when brushing. The flavour is like those oddfellow mint sweets, it's a bit strong but gentle.
It leaves my mouth feeling thoughrally clean and fresh, and almost slightly numb. It's like the feeling of having used a mouth wash, and keeps my teeth looking nice and white (ish) also.
I'm very happy with this toothpaste, it shall replace my old regular. I can't believe that it's such a lost cost option for such a great one, definitely recommend!
Out of all the expensive teeth whitening toothpastes that I have tried, never would I have guessed that this toothpaste would actually make a difference by looking at its price. After two weeks of using this I have noticed that a lot of staining has disappeared, I was so stoked! This toothpaste is also not ridden with chemicals but does have a different taste compared to other toothpastes. I wouldn't call it unpleasant but it could be a dealbreaker to some
I first used this toothpaste at my Dads house about a year ago and haven't stopped using it since.
I have a lot of faith in Red Seal as a brand and the price doesn't break the bank either.
The taste isn't sweet like all other run of the mill branded toothpastes which is what I like most about it. It leaves my mouth feeling squeaky clean and my breath fresh which I feel lasts the day (dependent on what's eaten of course)
I cant give it 5 stars, as yes it whitens teeth to a certain degree but then it wont go any further, so individual results will be dependent on how bad your teeth are to start with.
In saying that, I could never go back to any other toothpaste now after using this one, I've had to use other brands once or twice and my taste buds just don't handle them, Im hooked on this one.
Try grabbing it when its on special at your local supermarket.
Tips: Don't give up on it if you don't like it initially, it will defiantly take some people awhile to get used too due to the lack of sweetness.
This is my family's go to toothpaste. My whole family likes using this. It's nice not to put any really nasty chemicals in our mouths although this isn't completely natural. It tastes fine and freshens breath as well. As far as whitening though if you have a stained or colored tooth this won't whiten it but I do have a couple teeth that will probably only be whitened by laser. But this does maintain my teeth well and I haven't noticed any new stains but my teeth aren't whitened dramatically. Still it's a great budget friendly buy and I don't plan to switch brands any time soon.
Tips: Stock up when the supermarket has it on sale.
I bought this toothpaste as I was curious to see how effective the whitening process would be. I convinced my partner to buy it while we were doing our groceries, used it that night and I absolutely loved the grittiness of it, reminded me of getting my teeth polished at the dentist.
I love that it is all natural, it made my teeth feel so clean especially in combination with my electric toothbrush, the taste was a bit different.. I didn't really like it at first but I've gotten use to it.
After a week I noticed my teeth were definitely whiter and have repurchased several times now.
I usually use (and love) Red Seal's Smokers toothpaste as it has a nice minty flavour to it. I mistakenly bought the Baking Soda one by mistake and found it gritty with a baking soda flavour which I did not find that pleasant. I know it is supposedly for whitening the teeth (I can't say I noticed a difference) but the taste personally put me off.
Have used this product a couple of times and while I like the fact that my teeth look cleaner, whiter and just generally better; it just tastes like baking soda. Obviously that is a main ingredient but I never taste the "powerful minty taste". Maybe it's just my taste buds? But the taste would be the only reason I wouldn't purchase again.
