Red Seal is all natural

The tube has a matte feeling giving it a sense of being economic friendly. It has flip top being user friendly but it added extra of being a flat end to sit flush on the vanity would be very much welcomed.

The paste itself is of a gritty consistency compared to other branded pastes and has greyish colour.

The taste is friendly not spicy nor harsh just pleasantly ok. For something that has goodness for you it's pleasant to brush with. (Might I add my preteen boy commented how good tasting it was so that's a biggie ) What's good to know is the ingredients are all natural and to have such things as chlorophyll included is a big deal as this plant as so many positive impacts for the system and body. Making it easy to swallow knowing your digestive system won't be affected from this. Red Seal has a long standing reputation for health products so to me the brand name is already a big ups. Another good thing is the product is within reach of anyone's budget not expensive which is a clear bonus factor as literally all things that are good for you seem to be too expensive to afford. This is a thumbs up paste.

Favourite Toothpaste

I got this toothpaste in my first FoodieBox and must admit I was pretty disappointed to receive something so normal ha ha ha. I dismissed it at first and then it needed to have reviews done, so I started to use it so I could review it.

First impressions after first use were really surprising. The taste was a bit weird, but I like weird and it was good not bad. I really liked the taste, I can't really put my finger on the exact taste but it was really yummy, not your usual peppermint or spearmint tasting toothpaste.

It felt really good while brushing my teeth and believe it or not I noticed results straight away. Now I'm not sure if this has whitening properties in it, but it really did seem to whiten my teeth and they felt super squeaky clean. You don't need a massive amount on your brush but I like to put a bit on my brush because I like to really taste it. I wanted to eat it this one.

Overall, it was easy to get out of the tube, it was a nice size, super yummy taste and really gave my teeth a good clean and it looked great too. I don't usually get excited about a toothpaste, but will definitely be buying this in my next shop as its nearly all gone, even the kids like it lol.

This toothpaste has a peculiar flavor which takes a little getting used to but, this is probably because of the natural ingredients used. I didn't notice any visible teeth whitening but it did leave my mouth clean and fresh. I have also used their Baking Soda toothpaste which, I think, is much more effective in terms of whitening and freshness.

Tips: Buy the Red Seal Baking Soda toothpaste if you are more focused on teeth whitening

Needed a change!

I have swapped the family onto this toothpaste. With the brand we were using before the promises didn't work.

At first hubby thought I was nuts adding this into the trolly. After we had used it he was very surprised..

It feels like it polished teeth. I use a electric toothbrush with it. He uses a normal one. It's not harsh on your mouth. We both found our lips would dry out etc. This doesn't do that at all. When the paste comes out onto the brush it's not a firm as the standard stuff. When it's in your mouth it kind of dissolves and you can feel it move around the mouth.

It's not overpowering. It's pleasant. Now with the normal tooth paste the paste would edit around the brush and slide to the charger. Even when I wiped it it still magically found it's way there. With this nothing! So it keeps the electric toothbrush and charger clean.

Also I find the normal toothpaste gets a build up of plaque between gaps in my teeth, since using this, nothing! It's great

Natural toothpaste anyone? Not for me...

This toothpaste was sitting in my bathroom cupboard for awhile before I decided to open it, as I normally use my trusty Colgate. When that ran out I remembered I had this toothpaste that I got free in a goodie bag with a magazine purchase.

Red Seal is a brand I normally associate with vitamins, so I was interested to try this. It is all natural. Although all natural appeals to me for skincare, it doesn't really attract me to toothpaste for some reason, as I am used to my usual fluoride in toothpaste to protect my teeth.

The packaging is very simplistic and emphasises the natural theme. The tube is standard, coloured white, with a flip top cap.

Firstly, the taste of this toothpaste is very unpleasant, looking at the ingredients I think it's the strong taste of Stevia coming through mixed with a few other herbal concoctions. Unfortunately, this would have to be the worst tasting toothpaste I have tasted.

Secondly, I really feel this toothpaste doesn't do a good job of cleaning your teeth thoroughly. My breath didn't feel as fresh using this and I felt like I needed to clean my teeth again with proper toothpaste!

Also, I really look for toothpastes to be whitening for my teeth, but this product really doesn't do that.

Overall I'm not impressed with this toothpaste, and I am glad I got it as a freebie. I would not repurchase this in the future.

Not convinced..

Received this in a Bridal Goodie bag and have been contemplating to switching to natural Toothpaste for awhile as I am pretty conscious of fluoride etc..

First impressions based on packaging were hopeful. This sounded like this was the answer to what I had been searching for.

I generally use 'whitening' Toothpaste and this one isn't although the brand does do a baking soda version for that purpose.

First impression on the product itself.. Easy to squeeze tube. Smells pleasant... Taste... Odd very odd... At first I wasn't sure I was going to be able to brush my Teeth for as long as usual as I am pregnant and funny things are prone to making me gag! Is the taste unpleasant? Sort of... Its a very stevia, herbal, menthol concoction and you can taste it!

Result.. Honestly.. My teeth do not feel anywhere near as clean as when I use other Toothpastes or even whitening Toothpastes.. My Teeth are also not looking anywhere near as white or clean as they do with other Toothpastes..

I haven't got used to the taste... I think I will just use this until its finished and might purchase the baking soda version instead and see if its any better for me!

Tips: Great if you are conscious of what is in your Toothpaste and that is your only concern.

Unusual Toothpaste

I bought this toothpaste recently because I'd seen some good reviews on BR and noticed it on special for $2.99. I had tried it years ago and didn't particularly like it then.

Firstly the packaging is beyond plain and a little off-putting. Then the second thing I noticed and remembered from last use, was the unusual taste, which I don't really like. And I didn't really notice it whitened my teeth either.

As far as toothpaste goes, it is very ordinary in terms of performance, and I didn't think it particularly impressive in terms of breath freshening or cleaning. It didn't seem any more effective in preventing build up of plaque than any other toothpase.

Personally I wouldn't buy it again. I would only recommend it to someone who was very keen to use a herbal alternative to traditional toothpaste.

In its favour, it is quite economical and readily available at supermarkets.

Red Seal Natural Herbal Review

This is the best tooth paste. I have been using it for quite a long time now. It is really affordable and seems more natural then other brands of tooth paste. It leaves my teeth feeling clean and gives me fresh breath. I also noticed my teeth looked whiter after using this product for a few months. It is also made in NZ

Love this natural paste

Lovely natural product if you are concerned for your families health and wellbeing.

Its a white, creamy consistency with a TINY bit of a gritty texture (baking soda type) with a slight minty flavour so its nice for the whole family, my two year old uses this as its gentle enough for her.

It leaves your teeth feeling clean and shiny, not sure if it has made them any whiter though as it claims, but this is not what I bought the product for. I bought it for the natural ingredients that are safe for you body.

Overall: Impressed with this, have kept purchasing this item for over a year now, and will keep purchasing until something better/different natural brand comes along to compare it with.

Tips: If you are wanting this as a whitening toothpaste this won't happen as quick or strong as other non-natural toothpastes.

Good, Average, Affordable Natural Toothpaste

When I was looking into switching my beauty products into natural ones I was looking into toothpaste as well. This was affordable as I didn't want to spend a lot of money on toothpaste, so this was the only one I bought for many months. It's a nice toothpaste, not outstanding but doesn't have as many nasties as the regular toothpaste. Did freshen my breath and keep cavities at bay but didn't whiten my teeth anymore than your teeth get whitened from regular brushing. I would consider to buy this in the future if I wanted a cheap natural toothpaste.

Tips: One tube lasts a decent amount of time but if it the only natural one you can afford or like at the moment then stock up when it's on sale.
