Definitely the best I have used but only lasts for a week. (That's nail polish though I guess..)
It also goes thick after a while.
Tips: Use nail polish thinner to help thin it out once it goes thick.
Started chipping within an hour of it drying. I'm not super careful with my nails but it didn't even hold up to casual wear and tear. Pretty disappointed. It did make the last bits of my nail color stay put though.
My nails are known to be awkward. Nail polish chips badly, sometimes on the same day that I apply the nail polish (even with prep, base coat and top coat). I thought hooray it says won't chip. But it didn't deliver. Sure, it gave some protection but nowhere near enough.
I bought this in farmers along with a few mini Orly laquers because I quite liked the brand and the previous Orly polished I've purchased were all really nice. This is a major disappointment. I really should've read some reviews on this before wasting my money. Firstly, the polish itself was thick and not smooth at all. When applied, it felt thick and uncomfortable. It took ages to dry and had a really strong smell. Chips started to appear after two days and it was just as if I had no top coat on. Now I'll just go back to my much more reliable OPI top coat :(
This was one of the first top coats i bough and i was thoroughly disappointed by the product - it is very thick and does not apply smoothly. If you paint on nail designs, this will cause it to smudge like crazy! The polish takes forever to dry and it does not offer any chip resistance as it promises to. The smell is quite strong as well.
I have always quite liked the Orly brand, but this particular top coat was a bit of a disappointment.
As a top coat it was clear but it sometimes would smudge the nail polish which while it didn't ruin the pattern if only using one colour, if doing a more intricate nail design it was problematic.
In terms of chipping and longevity I can't say it did an amazing job, but it did make the nail polish last maybe a couple of days longer. But it did still chip, it was just a bit more resistant, so there wasn't as much chipping.
Tips: I have seen other Orly top coats with better reviews so I would go for one of those, as i will when this one runs out.
When I paint my nails I take my time to let things dry in between layers and I'm not a neat nail painted so protecting my hard work is important. I really liked some of Orly's base coats and treatments so I wanted to try their top coats plus I needed a new top coat. The "Won't Chip" and "Chip Resistant" stood out to me. First of all the things I do like. I do like Orly's design that has an easy to grip top for all their treatments and polishes because after awhile polish dries on the inside of the top and the fact that the top is easier to grip and turn makes it easier to open the top than other polishes. I like that this bottle is taller and narrower which makes it easy to coat the brush as you use up the bottle. Unlike some other brands that design their bottles a bit wider so you have to tilt the bottle more and more to coat the brush. I like that this top coat dries and sets quicker than some other top coats I've used. It set and dried within twenty minutes and I had no imprints on my nails the next morning, no dents, no imprints from my sheets or blankets just a nice smooth shiny mani. Unfortunately my beautiful mani got it's first chip within two days and in following days it got more and more tacky. By day four if was going to head out and wanted to make a good impression I would've had to remove my polish. I also am not a fan of the brush, it's not the worst brush for polishes that I've come across but I do prefer flat brushes with a rounded tip instead of long brushes with a square tip. I will continue to use this at this point in time but when I get another top coat this might get tossed or given to the less fortunate.
Tips: If you like changing your mani every two, three days this might be an okay option but if you like your polish to last for about five days or a week there might better options for top coats.
Gave my nails a nice finish but doesn't seem to prevent chips. Not worth the nice bottle that it's in.
Kind of dissapointing. It's advertised to help extend the life of the manicure, making it last longer without chipping. However, after less than a week of applying one of my Orly nailpolishes, it started chipping. To be fair, it says it only extends it so it will eventually chip but im dissapointed in how long it lasted. Also, I tried using it again a month or so after and it turned all glugy and thick. Not very nice.
Tips: Don't get it :/
