Dove Go Fresh Nourishing Body Wash

I got this in a gidt pack over Christmas and have only just cracked into it. I have also immediately put it back on the shelf.

The gel is nice and thick and smells great, and lathers up amazingly. Thats about it.

It dried my skin out something chronic and left it feeling tight and squeaky. I hated it and immediately washed myself again with something else.

I've passed it on to someone who does like it, so it's not completely wasted, but i wont be buying it, ever.

I bought this hoping that the green tea scent would be strong, rather than the usual dove smell. I love the elizabeth ardern green tea range so thought this would be a nod to that. Unfortunately it felt like a bad combo or the usual dove scent and the taste of cucumber water, and the green tea was undetectable.

As a body wash it's perfectly fine, it lathers well and is moisturising. But personally I couldn't get past the smell. A lucky flatmate got another freebie!

Just like all Dove products I found this super moisturising. It has that classic Dove scent. Excellent price. I probably wouldn’t use it again as I’m trying to use more natural products and I don’t think it has the best list of ingredients. Other than that, you can’t beat it

This is a super moisturising body wash. It does what it claims to - I really like to use this when shaving as I find shaving tends to dry my skin out. When I use this however, my skin feels really soft and moisturised.

You get a lot for your money - even if you use it as generously as I do :P The consistency is nice and thick but not like cement. It applies to your skin almost like a balm - it's so soft.

The only thing I am not wild on is the scent - cucumber and green tea seemed like an odd combination to me and I am not overwhelmed by it. However, it didn't stop me from liking and using this.

I'd purchase this again just for the sake of using it when I shave - it really does make your skin soft and supple.

What's not to love about Dove. Over the years of watching Dove develop their products they have started to make more scent combinations different to their origional one.

Packaging comes in the oval shaped bottle thats easy to stand on it's own in your shower. Easy to open and close to get your shower gel out. Consistency is a creamy white showel gel liquid. It smells like fresh cucumbers with a hint of creamy grean tea. The smell is smooth. Application it's easy to lather on to your body. It feels like your skin is clean and very well hydrated. Finally, I would be happy to use this again. It's priced fairly.Easy to find at your local stores. A reliable body wash that gets the job done.

Fragrance is a big thing for me with skincare! If it doesn't smell amazing, I won't be buying it. This one surprised me, its not the stereotypical fragrance that is used in anything really but in saying that, its awesome. Its a really refreshing smell which is what you want in the morning to help wake you up! I have used all the dove body wash in this range and pretty much the only difference is the fragrance except in the case of the one with extra moisturiser in it and the one that exfoliates. They are all as good as each other, really nice body wash. I have found that when using these body washes I don't have to use moisturiser on my body as much as with using say a soap or another brand of body wash so thats definitely the bonus of using a dove product that already has the moisturiser in it.

The scent of this body wash is great! It is refreshing with a cucumber smell that is great to wake up to in your morning shower. I like how the bottle looks visually, however because it's bulbous on the bottom it can get unwieldy and slippery in the shower - I much prefer it when it is either a hanging or a pump bottle.

You don't need much to make a good lather, and it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry.

I have tried this body wash, the roll on deodorant and the moisturizer lotion from this line. I like the idea of hydration to the skin on the body washes because I'm not the best using moisturizer on my whole body. While the ingredients that make up the actual moisturizers in the products are nothing to really rave about in terms of being very good for you this is a nice wash. I like the scent it is fresh but not as fresh as you might expect. Like the roll on a little warm too and subtle I wish it was a bit stronger. Nice thick gel which is ideal if your someone that likes to water shower gels down a bit. I sometimes do this or I buy a cheap subtle scented one to put with one that is expensive and heavily fragranced. (Careful with mixing things together ideally a natural based one is best for mixing as probably less likely a reaction) some women say they use this as they have sensitive skin so in theory your skin could be less itchy as you are leaving some of the skin's natural protective barrier on the skin. In saying that it has lurel sulphate which does actually strip the skin and is a foaming agent so be careful and it isn't really specific for sensitive skin. This is something I would probably re buy on special. I really like the scent of the moisturizer

Bought a botlle with my shopping a week ago at the local supermarket. Smells great and moisturises well. The product wasnt even expensive at all and you use very little at a time...My boys have since claimed the bottle for themselves with the excuse "it works better for us than the bar soap we currently have" which meant I had to go get me another bottle
