I spotted this bottle of Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash at my local pharmacy, it was sitting on the 50% off table, as it was near it's expiration date.
Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash is packaged in a 354ml cream-coloured plastic bottle with a green flip top lid and the soap-free gel lathers up really well, only a small amount is needed on a shower pouf to create a rich, creamy lather.
The splurb on the back of the bottle says "...combines natural colloidal oatmeal (long known to retain moisture and soothe skin) with a unique blend of natural oil and emollients to lock in moisture. This creamy, lightly fragranced formula lathers gently then rinses clean, resulting in softer, smoother, healthy looking skin long after you shower. And it's soap-free, dye-free and even gentle enough for sensitive skin". It's also 'dermatologist recommended'.
It has a soft, clean, fresh scent and I like that it's a dual-purpose product; not only can it be used as a body wash but it can also be used as a shaving lotion. Simply apply it directly onto legs before shaving.
I honestly don't know if I would have purchased this if it was full price and will probably only repurchase if I see it on special somewhere.
As someone with eczema, I've used a fair few bottles of this. I don't reach for it every time, though, because I found it slightly too drying for my skin. The rating I've given it today is because I only recently found out that this has SLS in the ingredients. As a brand and product that regularly markets to those with sensitive skin, I feel like this is somewhat misleading. SLS can cause long-term skin issues, and isn't great for the environment either. Personally, there are better products on the market that are SLS-free. Another reason I'm not a big fan is the bottle. The flip lid is great for travelling but the opening means fiddling around and a lot of product tends to come out.
Tips: I personally found it quite slippery and drying. A little bit goes a long way.
