Designer Brands Extend A Brow Review

Wrong color for my brows first off then there was flakes all over the place. I'm not a fan of this at all . Now we have better brow products to do a better job.Thankfully!

There are 2 things I want to state first. 1. If you have blonde-r eyebrows, there are only 2 shades and Light/Medium probably wouldn't be light enough for you. 2. I feel like the fibers cling to your existing brow hairs rather than your skin, which is great if you have decently thick brows, but if you have none you'll probably just end up with fibers everywhere.

ASIDE from those 2 things, I would recommend this product to anyone who has thick-ish brows and fits into the shade range! I've used a brow pencil, brow pomade and shadows/brow powders before but honestly this is my new favourite. I do wish it had more of a gel like base just so the fibers and my brow hairs could be held down and in place a bit better, but this could be remedied with a clear brow gel/mascara. My usual favourite is my ABH Dipbrow but it always gives me bolder brows and on more natural days, or days where I want the tiniest amount of make up, it's a bit too much. This is where this product comes in and saves the day. I can get a really nice shape and natural look but I can also achieve a bolder look if I desire. It's way faster than using a brow pencil and so much easier to get right than a pomade! I found the fibers did kinda fall out when I first opened it so I may have to be more careful in the future.

I found the packaging to be a bit cheap but as it's such an affordable brand I can forgive this. I was confused when I first opened it because I expected a brow gel wand, such as the one on Gimme Brow by Benefit, but instead it was a doe foot applicator covered in little hair fibres! It was also a very dry formula so I did not expect it to cling to my brows the way it did. It lasts all day with no problems (even through a nap with my face in the pillow) and I didn't end up with fibres all over my face like I half expected. I adore this product!

I naturally have very sparse, thin eyebrows (not from over-plucking, just born unlucky lol). I've tried a few different brow products in the past: pencils, gels, waxes, powders- but none of these gave me the soft, natural brow look I wanted: it was very obvious that I had filled them in (bear in mind, I am not very skilled at doing my brows). This product is different to anything else I've tried. It comes in packaging similar to what you would see liquid lipstick in- a clear tube with a doe-foot applicator. But no liquid is in here- just lots of fluffy fibers! I just carefully brush the applicator over where my brows need to be filled in, the fibers stick to my natural hairs and BAM- natural looking decent brows!! And it takes me less than one minute! I find these last all day. I have this in the shade light/medium and I think it suits my skintone. Lastly, I love this product because it is super affordable, and lasts ages, even with daily use (as you don't need much).

I used this when I had an awful over plucking experience. I found the colour match was really good and natural, and it was very easy to use. the colour grabs onto the brow hairs and skin so creates fairly natural looking brows with just a few sweeps of the wand. The price was appealing and I would highly recommend this product. It was fairly long lasting.

I came across this product one day while in a pharmacy, so i bought it tired it and loved it!! The fibres actually stay put and you don't get fall out into your eyes i only wish this came in a lighter shade as the lightest shade they have is light medium and I have lighter eyebrows so have to use it sparingly just so i doesn't look too dark

I'm not a big fan of this. I feel like it doesn't cling to my brows enough and ends up flaking off into my eyes :( This is not the same as those gel fibres that I've heard so many good things about - these are just loose fibres and if you even breathe on them, they go everywhere.

It's not enough to use on its own (unless you already have perfectly defined brows and just want a little extra volume in them) but my brows look way too busy if I put this over my usual brow product (ELF brow kit). I think the only way to make this work is if I did my brows with a very very light hand and used something sticky (like a brow gel) to get this to adhere properly. That just seems like too much work for what it is..

I have gone thru one of these this year,and it's June so it lasted me 6 months for nearly everyday use,It is very quick and easy to use,I brush my brows then gently swipe the product over my eyebrow,the little fibres on the wand stick to your exicting eyebrow to give it a fuller look,it thickens your eyebrow in seconds,I have always one in my drawers because it's so affordable and easy to use,

I bought this on a whim when I was desperate for eyebrow makeup on the run and didn't have time to hit my usual store. Its actually not too bad its not too messy and lasts a while. Great for sparse eyebrows like mine.

I have this in medium The packaging is that of a normal mascara. With a clear bottle end that holds the product which is described as tiny fibres. So you do see the fires in the clear type bottle/vile. The dispenser is a wand and it has a brush but more of a rounded foam brush and not a bristle type as a mascara classically has. This is ingenious and simple to use. You fill in your brows as required. There is no fuss at all. Although the colour is a bit light for my naturally dark brows it didn't look odd. As for the mess factor there was none. I mean when pulling the wand out it doesn't fall everywhere as I hold the bottle upright but there are loose bits from the applicator that do whispered away. No problems once applying to brows. No fly aways or fall put during application and during the day. For me it seemed to with held the whole day. 1 thing I was sure to do was only apply in small amounts and then build up. As you would with any makeup. Light handed and build up as required. Overall an easy product to use and a no fail In my eyes. I would recommend this to a novice and especially for people who isn't need touch ups and aren't keen on redrawing or reshaping their brows themselves.

I was intrigued by this product as I had never used a brow product before and had not seen a 'fibre' brow product before.

I have the shade 498 Medium Brown which is the perfect colour for my brows. It comes in a plastic clear tube and has a doe foot applicator. It also came with instructions on the box (simply swipe along lashes and use the angled tip for thinner parts of the brows) so I thought, wow this sounds quick and easy! This should be a good way to fill in my brows.

Every time I unscrew the lid and pull the applicator out, lots of fibres go everywhere and upon applying it to my brows, I had fibres all over my face so it's a very messy product to use. Apart from that, it was easy to apply but I could only see a small difference to my brows. During the course of the day, I would notice fibres on my clothes so possibly they were falling out which meant that this product doesn't stay put. So really I did not think it was worth it in the end.

I wouldn't recommend this produce, I personally feel that it is a waste of time. I don't want to spend the day wiping away fibres from my face and clothes. It's just too messy for me but then again, someone else might find it perfect for themselves?
