Dr Lewinns Gentle Facial Cleanser

Absolutely love the Dr LeWinns range of products, I have sensitive skin so try to find products that can somehow make my skin stay hydrated for as long as I can. This product is a gentle cleanser for the morning routine, it seems to keep my skin hydrated and feeling great before I apply makeup, Love the product

I tried this while holidaying in Australia for 6 weeks.

The bottle is simple but is also finished with a gold trim and the cleanser looks coloured,thru the bottle. To dispense product, it tips/pours out of the spout after removal of the lid. This is not a conventional tube and so cleanser can be applied prior to showering and rinse in the shower or wash off with a face cloth.

This is light and definitely fresh upon applying it to the skin it's gentle and feels so soft. There no tingles and suits my sensitive skin. Whilst being so gentle it's also very good at removing impurities and most if not all my make up. Upon rinsing it leaves the skin feeling rejuvenated and soft. The skin doesn't feel tight or dry just clean as if you used water on yourself. There is some balancing of the skin from using this. I really feel my oily sensitive skin liked it and I did to almost immediately notice the difference with using this cleanser. I felt very pampered using it.

For the price you pay for this brand I would expect good results. As a cleanser, this just isn't effective enough. I definitely get better results with my usual Cetaphil cleanser. On top of that I found the smell of this product quite off-putting, hard to describe but not nice for sure. I wouldn't bother with this product again.

I love this makeup remover. I have been trying to find a good makeup remover that doesn't make my eyes sting as well as being good for sensitive skin, and came across this little beauty. this one really is gentle and removes all types of makeup, even my super long wearing lipstick. It's gentle on my sensitive skin and doesn't hurt my eyes. The scent is light and subtle. Highly recommend it.

This is a good solid cleanser. I like it, and it does a good job of cleansing my face as the first part of my skincare routine. This being said, I don't wear makeup, and the few times I have, this cleanser didn't really get any of it off. I've had to use other products afterwards to clear up the makeup and then cleanse again.

I do like the cream formula. It is a light green, and feels good on the skin. It leaves my skin moisturised, and this is a good start for my routine. The scent is subtle, more of apricots than aloe, but I like it.

I wouldn't repurchase at this price, but if I got my hands on some more that would be fine, and I wouldn't be unhappy. The bottle lasted me two months (?) so it might be worth the price for some.

Unfortunately, for some reason this cleanser did not work for me AT ALL! it did not remove my makeup, even after washsing my face 4 times, it was like water resistant!! and the days that i did not wear make up and used this, my face felt yuck afterwards, like there was a oily film over my face. so i was really dissapointed with this one :(

I received this product in a goodie box and was excited to get a product from such a nice brand. Other Dr Lewinns products I have tried before work well, I especially like their face masks. However this product was disappointing, It does leave the skin feeling soft however does not remove all make up, leaves a soapy residue on skin if it is not followed up with another cleanser and has a weird smell.

I am usually not a fan of cream cleansers so probably wouldn't use this again myself, however in saying that it did work really well. It is such a gentle formulation it actually feels like you're applying moisturiser. It removes all makeup well (including mascara!), and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry at all. It is important though that you ensure you remove it all with a warm flannel after cleansing.

I got this in the June Goodiebox. I was really excited as I love Dr Lewinns products! Everything else I have tried has been AMAZING but this sadly didn't quite cut it. The texture is silky. It left my skin feeling quite nice however it did not remove my eye makeup at all & it didn't do the best job on removing the BB cream either - there was still residue coming off with my toner after. I don't really enjoy the smell either, it's rich & almost sickly smelling. Good size bottle though with a clean classic look to it.
