Maybelline Eye Studio Colour Tattoo - Bold Gold

I absolutely love maybelline colour tattoos and have 19 of the shades available. Bold gold is one of my favourites of the ones I own being a great creme base for other gold powder shadows and also beautiful worn alone.

Worn under powder eye-shadow as a base it really does help eye-shadow last longer and enhance intensity.

I like that you can build up from a sheer layer for an everyday look or build it up for an intense metallic look. I usually use only a small amount so I'm sure it will last me a long long time.

I find it doesn't crease is very long wearing lasting the entire day. The only thing bad I could say is if you are wearing it alone without powder shadow over-top it you can feel it on your lids (a little sticky feeling, especially in warmer weather). But I have found that with most creme eye-shadows and it's not a biggy.

Definitely will repurchase if I ever finish one and will always have an eye out for new shades to add to my color tattoo collection. Highly recommended.

Amazing base and base builder! Cheap, fast, easy, brilliant for the -Im-running-late mornings and for a handbag keep. Keep cap on as much as poss though !

When these came out I really didn't think that they would compare to MAC Paint Pots, come on - they're like a quarter of the price! Man was I wrong!!!! I can only talk about the Bad to the Bronze shade as this is the only one that I have but this applies like a dream. I apply all over the lid with my finger & either put a matte dark brown in the crease or just leave it as is if I'm time poor that morning. I love it. It stays put all day & it looks as if you've made an effort. I don't find it patchy or drying. I'm quite keen to get & try the Bold Gold now. Nice work Maybelline!

Wore this to town one night, doing my makeup at 7, getting home at 3 and it had not budged, at all, whatsoever, in the slightest. THe colour is absolutely to die for. One of the most beautiful golds I've ever come across, and the price of them is absolutely amazing. I'm starting to collect them all.

This eye shadow is amazing. Cute little pot, amazing color and very easy to apply. It doesn't settle in your crease like other eye shadows. It lasts for a long time. Bold gold I'd the perfect color for me as I have bright blue eyes. I was so impressed with this product I brought two more colors almost instantly. * inked in pink And * pomegranate punk

These cream eyeshadows are so smooth, with only one swipe, the colour pay off is also extrememly pigmented, these do not crease and I think everyone need to try these! I have one colour at the moment, in barely beige, but I definitely will splurge on some more!

We use Bold Gold at school for our cultural group performance and it is absolutely stunning! I had this on for Polyfest this year and last year for the whole day and it stays on and doesn't smudge off! There is also a decent amount in each pot so it has lasted us ages! Definitely recommend this product for anyone who's always on the go as the stay on power is fantastic:)

This is such a lovely colour and it helps my eyeshadow stay all day. I use this when I am doing any eye look involving gold shades and it is perfect as a base. It really really stays on and helps my eyeshadows to do the same with minimal to zero creasing. It is easy to apply to the eye but dries relatively quickly. The only (small) downside for me is that it is hard to take off at the end of the day!

I love this colour it can be worn alone or under another eye shadow to make it stand out more! It goes on so smooth with a brush or on your finger. You don't need a lot of product and it's easy to blend! Would be perfect for some one who is getting into a bolder gold or even a beginner but in saying that i think it would be perfect for pretty much everyone .It also does not crease! it has amazing staying power. This is holy grail eye shadow every one should have.

I use my colour tattoo as an eye base/primer under my eyeshadows. It makes the colour last all day and does not crease. I own the skin colour one so i dont really use it on its own unless im going for a really natural look. The colour is really great on its own though.
