NYX Professional Makeup xtreme Lip Creme

I was fortunate to be sent a pack of the NYX xtreme lip cremes when the Queen street NYX department opened. I was sent:

Tres Leches- Beige with a tint of pink

Sorbet- Peachy pink

Chocolate crepe- Warm brown

I am highly impressed with how pigmented the shades are, they are almost as opaque as a lipstick but with a sheen of gloss over the top. They almost feel like butter when applying these to the lips, the foot of the applicator is flexible and makes applying the lip creme very precise. I haven't had a product quite like this before. I find using a lip liner before applying the lip creme to prevent the gloss from sliding over your lip line. Since these are a gloss they dont stay on the lips like the regular lip cremes from the NYX range.

I use the Chocolate crepe the most as it goes with every makeup look and outfit. It also leaves a subtle lip stain after the lip creme wears off.

Im unsure if Ill purchase these in the future as I prefer a matte finish instead of a glossy finish. I am very impressed with the formula and pigmentation of the lip cremes.

i just started buying these..Currently just two shades of pink. I don't see the staying power as much but a little bit of lip creme with a bit of lip stain complement each other on my lips. After using it, i have realized Wat actually lip cremes are..definitely creamy texture and glides on lips with ease.I don't use much for even finish. On the whole i actually love them and like the applicator comes with it, along with being affordable..yes, it fills in my quality columns...recommend it to all..

It is an amazing lip creme that does exactly what you would expect from it! It is easy to apply and the colour pay off is amazing, you do not need to put much on at all. More of a lipstick than a lip gloss. I have a few of the colours and adore them all.

These lip creams are extremely pigmented, but are more glossy than like a lipstick, and I found that it was not particularly long wearing which was not great. On my lips, it tends to rub off in patches if my lips are slightly dry, so I need to make sure they are really well exfoliated and moisturised to make this work well. However, I did really love the colour (Nude Peach Fuzz) and the finish when I first applied it, it is quite shiny like a gloss and gives your lips a juicy, plump look. It comes with a doe foot applicator which I really like, it's quite small and helps to get the shape of your lips perfect. Overall I'm reasonably impressed, but I much prefer actual lipsticks by NYX and the Soft Matte Lip Creams to this one. I probably still will buy more in other colours to see if that makes any difference and if I like them more because I really want to love this product.

I was really impressed by how pigmented my xtreme lip creme was, however it is quite sticky and more of a gloss than a lip stain and was advertised. I got it in a very light pink, which is not really my colour so would get again in another colour! Smells delish too!

I have this product in the shade spicy which is a very rich red colour. It applies easily with a doefoot applicator and it is ridiculously well pigmented. It really is a hybrid of lip gloss and lipstick and also even a lip stain I would say.

I bought this product with the intention of applying it really thick for dramatic looks but I found it just didn't wear well. within half an hour It slides off and leaves a ring around your lips which lets be honest, isn't the best of looks. I was a little bit disappointed that it wasn't more effective in that way but It could just more noticeable because its a deep red shade.

I did, however, find a way to make this product work for me. I find if you apply the tiniest amount in the centre of yours lips and use your fingers to blend in it gives a you a nice subtle red shade that sticks around a lot longer and doesn't fade in a ring as it does when applied thickly.

For the price of this lip creme I probably would buy more because they are so cheap but maybe in more subtle colours as I feel they would do a better job of wearing.

These are some of my favourite lip products, they are long lasting, creamy and non drying and a good colour selection. So inexpensive to buy (try beautyjoint) and the applicator makes them really easy to apply.
