I’m a fan of Too Faced products so needed to try out their pure primer when I heard it was good for troubled skin that can be on the sensitive side. I’m always on the hunt for a product that can cope with my large pores, dry patches and oily areas without being too harsh that it leaves me spotty and red.
Price wise its getting a little on the high side for a primer, I purchased through Beautybay.com for $35 (NZ) but have found its justifiable by the fact that you only need a coupe little pea dot sized amounts of the product on your finger to cover the majority of your face, so it’s going to last me a while at that price.
Formula is slightly thick but very velvet once rubbed into the skin, it has a opaque look with a soft shimmer that doesn’t show on your face other than creates a soft, matte cover that helps to hide most of my larger pores over the cheek and nose area, but unfortunately failed to help with the oil slick that spreads across my forehead during the day. It started out fine but seeped through as the day went on, nothing that a spot of translucent powder couldn’t fix though.
