MAC Brow Sculpt Review

I have always had unruly and thick brows that never quite look right, I usually use drugstore products regarding my brows, but I eventually figured i'll get one nice high-end products and finally get my brows looking great. I visited the MAC Kiosk at a department store and picked up this brow sculpt pencil for around $40-45 which is quite pricey - especially since I would of been a 17 year old high school kid at the time. I initially really enjoyed this, great colour, nice to use and great product. I used this daily for around a week and a half before it ran out! I thought it had broken or snapped off, but no it had been used up, by no means do I use an excessive amount of product in my brows, I was genuinely shocked at how little product this contained - considering it cost a good amount. Just added to the below average experiences i've had with some MAC products recently.

This pencil is very compact with enclosed caps at both ends containing a spoolie at one end and the brow pencil at the other end. The pencil is flat and slanted and propels up and down. I like the slant shape, it allows me to use just the tip to outline or the whole slant to colour my brows. It has a bit of a waxy feel but is easy to apply. I have black hair but very light eye brows. The the spike shade gives my brows a natural look and I apply it in light feather strokes to shade and fill gaps and used the pointed end to outline my brows. I finish off by using the spoolie brush to distribute the product evenly. The colour stays on longer than some other pencils I have used, but in saying that this is quite a lot more expensive as well but it also is lasting longer than some of the other cheaper products I have been using. In the end it works out at similar pricing because it lasts longer. I would use this again for this reason.
