Maybelline Master Liner

I got this maybelline master liner in the shade black as at the time i wanted a wind up eyeliner to apply to my waterline. It stood out to me as i was buying it as it said it was smudge proof and waterproof for 16 hours, i should not have believed the 16 hours claim as it is not true! i am not of a fan of this liner it was difficult to apply on the waterline and not smooth at all. I didn't get much colour on the waterline, it looked more brown then black and wore off with in the hour into my lashes, it was just hopeless. There was nothing wrong with the packaging, it is black with simple white writing on it to tell you what it is and it winded up smoothly. I just ended up chucking this out, it wasn't worth the $20 that i payed and i was left so disappointed as it didn't live up to any of it's claims. I would not recommend this to a friend. Don't waste your money on this eyeliner!

This sadly was a big waste of $20. It is super hard and not at all smooth. Difficult to apply to lids and impossible on the waterline. It delivers pretty good colour payoff on the lids (if you manage to get a good application) but it really is impossible to get it to look black on the waterline. I really don't have anything good to say about this. The packaging is good but what use is that when the product inside is no good. Spend the extra $4 and get the Too Faced Perfect Eyes.

I use this occasionally on my top lid. Its not amazing nor is it rubbish, I find it lasts quite well and smudges out easily for a smokey look.

It does not work well on the waterline, I dont recommend using it on the lower lash line either as it smudges and clings to the lower lashes.

Packaging is nice, lid stays on and price wise it is affordable.

this is the best eyeliner i have ever used and i am so impressed by how easy it is to use.its so pigmented and had no smudges under my eyes even after 9 hours.I can use it easy on my ipper and lower lids and on the waterline it did not smudge.i usually have a problem with my eyeliner smudgeing but not with this product. The packaging was a clear plastic over cardboard so you could see the product clearly before buying which i like when buying makeup.

I've used this product for a few years after being given my first one, I was never any good at applying eyeliner and this is the easiest one I have ever tried. Great for a smoky look as it smudges nicely - perfect for blending those mistakes while getting the hang of eyeliner as well! I love how it is self sharpening as well.

I have been using this eyeliner for a week and have to say I love it! I have problems with eyeliners ending up down my cheeks so I look like a panda. I haven't had this once with this pencil. It goes on smoothly and is great use for tight lining my upper lashes. Also great to smudge if you are doing the smokey eye look. I bought it in black and will definitely buy it again in other colours.

This product was incredibly difficult to work with, and smudged constantly. It's so creamy that it is impossible to get a good line. It irritated my eyes and caused them to water up for hours after. By the end of a few hours, I looked like I'd been crying at a funeral.

I LOVE this pencil. Haven't been using it much longer than a week (everyday) but it is amazing. I'm using it in the colour "made of steel" which is a silver liner and its incredible. highly pigmented and I use it on my bottom water line and it just looks amazing, makes my eye makeup "pop". It has great staying power and am able to wear it all day without re-applying and washing off simply without any issues. I know that white liner is a fav at the moment so il be trying that next but this will now be a forever go to in my books. the glides on easily and smoothly so theres no bulky looking bits around my eyes and its easily blendable for when wanting a "smudged" out look. So happy with this pencil and Im the type that isnt a fan of pencil eyeliner but Maybelline has done an amazing job creating this one. Will for sure be keeping an eye out for the other colours aswell.

I love this eyeliner! Confession. I'm ham fisted at applying eye liner. It ends up patchy and uneven and a hot mess. More often than not I end up looking like I've just woken up after a three day bender. However this eyeliner is so easy for me to use - I have it in black and it simply glides on. I'm not one for thick eyeliner and I find I can control the depth of colour. And if I stuff it up and make some bits thick and others thin? It's beautifully blendable with the help of a cotton tip. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who's new to lining their eyes or who's all but given up on ever being able to ;)
