I bought this on special from mighty ape I think it was, as I'd run out of brow products. I've since used it all up, and it wasn't great, the actual crayon/pomade part is not the easiest to use once you wear it down. Also, there's no way to sharpen it, it's just retractable, but that's not helpful when it's so fat! It didn't help my sparse eyebrows. I wouldn't bother repurchasing.

I like this Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade because of its consistency. It's very easy to put on my brows when it was new and it was still pointed. What I didn't like that much about it is that I had to make it pointed to use it properly or use a brow brush. I can't also say that it does the feathery effect on my brows. I like it for a short time use or for when I need to go outside for a few hours but not for a whole day.
This product is my first pomade product and I've been very impressed with it. I have the light and medium brown shade. I use the light shade with my natural eyebrows and the medium shade when my brows are tinted. The texture is nice and easy to work with. It comes up very pigmented. I think it would be easier to use if it was thinner so I'm not really liking the crayon design as it's too thick for me to draw on my brows with the crayon itself. I prefer to use an angled brush as you are able to be more precise with the look you are going for. I originally planned not to repurchase it for that reason as I wanted a normal pomade product but I have gotten used to using a brush and drawing on with the crayon a little bit. Though I do still think pencils are easier to use compared to this crayon, and spoolies on the end are handy to help blend it out, but I really love the formula of this product so I have have a spoolie on it's own to use after I've applied my brow product and rest of my makeup. It has a long lasting look and product stays on all day (and night). The packaging is great if you forget about the bulkiness of the product. The colour of the product is displayed well so it is unlikely you will purchase the incorrect shade. I like how it is short, so it's easy to fit in your handbag/ makeup bag when out and about.
Tips: Apply product with an angled brush. I find product is more pigmented when I mix with with a small amount of moisturizer. Brush through eyebrows with a spoolie after applying product to brows and makeup to rest of face to remove excess powder and get desired shape with hairs.
I bought this eyebrow crayon because it was on sale, and it looked like it was worth trying. The shade I bought was Dark Blonde.
The product comes in a short, chubby crayon stick which is coloured black with a clear lid. The colour at the base of the sticks indicates the shade, and the crayon stick is moulded to a point.
You apply the colour by swiping the crayon from your inner eyebrows, and out towards the edge of your brows. The formula is waxy, and helps to hold brow hairs in place.
My eyebrows are naturally light brown, and cool toned. I find that ashy shades work best to fill in my brows. This shade is not a perfect fit. It is ashy-toned, but it is a little lighter than my natural colour.
I find it works best by swiping it on, and then using a spoolie to comb the product through the brows. Blending the colour through makes the lighter shade blend in to my natural colour, and fixes my hairs in place.
The only drawback with this crayon is that it is very wide. Once you have worn the narrow tip down it is hard to get any precise lines, as the nib of the crayon ends up being wider than your eyebrows.
It is not the best eyebrow crayon I have used, but it is worth trying if you find it on sale.
I won this in a competition on instagram. I didn't know Maybelline had these jumbo brow crayons. I love bold and well defined brows. I have good brow days and some bad. I'm still trying my best to learn how to style them so they look the same.
This looks like a large jumbo crayon. It reminds me of a chubby stick. The consistency of the promade is thick in colour and well pigmented. I have a dark brown shade perfect for my brows. It's incredibly creamy but workable.
I like to comb my brows out with a spoolie. I go in with this brow promade and it fills any sparse gaps in my brows. I find I can get a good decent 6 to eight hours wear with it.
Overall I think it's reasonably priced. I would go out and repurchase this because I'm enjoying the consistency and longevity.
The problem with these is you can't keep the pointed tip. They do not self sharpen and on hot days can be so melty or soft that they can break off. They are ok to begin with untill the pointed tip gets blunted then your left with a fatter thing to work with which doesn't help with giving nice arches like the description. A good thing is if you have the right complexion you can try use it as a contouring stick so it gets points for that. I quite like multi use products. Using a brush is the best way really so the pointed part is a bit of a trick really. This only comes in three shades. The formulation isn't too bad but it is waxy and soft. Not a big fan of this but I guess really it's just like using a pomade - you need a brush once the point gets blunted.
