Great little Eye Shadows

I'm well into my second Big Eyes palette now. I have used the brown and the blue/ Grey one. They are really great! Cheap & Cheerful, easily available, easy to use and they last a long time. I tend to use the two base colors the most, and then add in the feature color when I'm in less of a hurry. I brought this originally because I travel a lot and having a small go-to Palette is handy. Can't really say a bad word about these - will certainly repurchase (again).

Luminous Brown Palette

I have just replaced my Maybelline Big Eyes Palette. I was going to try a different colour but instead decided to go with what I know. Great product, good selection of colours which are able to be mixed/contrasted. I tend to favour one of the browns as I always run out of this shade first. The application brush in my new pack is not as good as the previous one.

75% dud for me

I've had this little quad sitting around for a while, I think I bought it for about $5 off a fb group. I can't even remember anymore! I recently decided to give it a go since it really is a cute little palette.

I really like the design of this. It's nice and compact with a clear plastic lid that feels strong and secure. This isn't going to open up or crack when it's stored with other products.

I have the shade luminous brown. It is the palette shown above. All the colours are satins, no mattes at all. There is a pearl, light pink, orange and brown. If you swatch these with your fingers, the colours look beautiful on your hand. Decent pigmentation and true to the colour you see in the pan. Try using these with a brush on your eye though. It is the biggest struggle of life. I tried the pink shade out first as I thought it would look gorgeous all over the lid. I tried so many layers, I used it wet and I finally built it up enough to be a very muted light pink. I had similar experiences with the brown and pearl. The orange though, is beautiful. I've never really gravitated towards an orange before but I adore this all over my lid. The only reason this palette is not in my rubbish bin right now, is because of that orange! It lasts well on my lid too, doesn't crease, just a little fading by the end of the day. It blends really nicely but like I said earlier, it is powdery so you need to tap off the excess before applying otherwise you will have fallout everywhere.

I really can't recommend this at all. I am going to keep it for the orange, I would depot that colour and throw the rest out if I could but the way this quad is designed makes it look like that is impossible to do. It makes me sad that this was not a winner, it had such great potential.

Very Versatile Palette in Purple

I am loving this palette! firstly i was lucky and got it on special for only $4! (might go back and buy another one or two). Mine is a purple one. The primer is excellent - its a very light mauve, silvery and applies easily, goes with many other colours too. I struggle to get my head around the second colour - yellow, and I admit to struggling with the instructions on the back - when I tried, it wasn't a look I was comfortable with. However, using the colours in the manner I normally apply my eyeshadow I can easily create a smokey purple look I love. Colour stays on my lids all day & blends well.

Maybelline big eyes palette

Love it!!!i have this eyeshadow in luminous brown, the centre shade I use as highlight on my brow bone, but others use it as a eyelid shimmer shade, being white (off white) it does make your eyes pop, there is 2 shades of satin Browns ans a rusty colour, very pigmented and stays on for hours,I would recomend to friends, and I have to buy more as mine is nearly empty

Tips: Wear a eyelid primer first and it will stay on for hours

The only palette you'll ever need.

If you like doing a no makeup, makeup look, or if you are an eye makeup beginner, this palette is going to save your life.

I purchased this after watching a tutorial on the Maybelline youtube page where the guy used this on a model, made it look super easy, and made her look super stunning. Now I usually watch tutorials and think oh that looks easy, but when I give it a try myself I always fail.

That was not the case with this. It was just as easy as the guy said it would be. Comes built with 3 colours and a primer, they are labelled, so you won’t mistake which goes where. It is completely idiot proof, and perfect for beginners.

It has a primer in it which is such a bonus - as i said perfect for beginners, who dont own a lot of makeup. It helps the shadow stay put all day, not crease and not spread around or fall all over your face.

The colours are highly pigmented, and they are really easily blend able. I also love that you can use the one brush to do the whole eye look. Never mind switching brushes.

It does however fall a bit as you are putting it on - it stays while it is on - but that may have been the fault of my makeup brushes.

It’s also a nice small palette which is handy to take with you wherever you go, as it fits literally everywhere. Even though it is small, you get more shadow in each colour than you would with a standard palette as each section is large.

This is easily becoming my favourite palette, and I reach for it everyday for subtle - no makeup, everyday look. It’s so incredibly cheap, and I don’t even need my naked palette or nudes palette anymore.

Tips: Watch the tutorial on the Maybelline youtube page to see how you can use it.

great little palette

I really like this convenient little palette, and the fact it has a primer in it already is just great.

the colours are quite pigmented and easily blendable to create either a simple day time look or dramatic night time look. I did find that there was a little bit of fall of with the eye shadow but not as much as i expected there to be which was nice. It didn't crease alot when using the primer compared to without but when you have the primer in your hand why wouldn't you use it? Definitely a great product and for the price it is not putting you out of pocket. Maybelline has done another great job with this product. Will happily recommend for others to purchase

Tips: If worried about the drop off of product not that there is alot but hold a tissue along the bottom lash line which will pick any of that up.

Big Eyes.

Oh my gosh - I think this is my new fave eyeshadow. The colours are amazing, quite bold but you can easily blend for a more subtle daytime look. The colours work great together and blend and highlight perfectly. I also noticed that with the primer as the base it is very resistant to creasing in the eyelid - a huge plus when it comes to eye shadows! At first I thought maybe the price was a bit much, but since using it I think it's worth every cent. Will def be buying again.
