Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scrub

I picked this bottle up in my grocery shopping. I ran out of my current scrub and needed something to clean my skin. I'm always on the lookout for a scrub that's non drying on my skin. My skin type is dry especially in my t zone.

This bottle is a yellow and cream colour sits on itself. I like this kind of shaped bottle for scrubs because I can get product out of it easier. The consistency of this is smooth and creamy with tiny exfoliating beads in it. The scent of this reminds me of soft citrus fruits with hint of florals.

Normally I moisten my skin with water first. Put this scrub on gently massage into my skin. Thankfully I don't have any skin irritations with it. I like to leave it on for five to ten minutes, then I wash it off.

After having tried this daily for over a month I found my skin more radiant. My skin is cleaned thouroughly after each use. I like how easily accesible this scrub is . It is priced fairly for a scrub. It lasted me about three month use . I would buy this one again.

I tried this product because i have sensitive/dry skin and i know Aveeno caters to sensitive skin. I liked it as it didn't burn my skin, it exfoliated like it says it does, and it left my skin feeling fresh and cleansed. Its not anything i would rush back out to buy as there wasn't a WOW factor to it

I really like this product as an everyday exfoliating scrub because the beads are so small that they are gentle on your skin. It also smells really nice. The downside is that the packaging is designed with a small hole for the product to come out. This hole gets blocked every so often and I have to find a bobbie pin to unblock it.

This was just so lovley from the first go, this is a sweet mandarin/vanilla fragrance and looks like a mucked up clear jelly and the texture is a thick and globby cream with tiny wee gentle exfoliating beeds. This is like bathing my face in a soft fluffy moisturising foam with a little exfoliation. I love this and find myself looking for this at the end off the day this is gentle enough to use every day without stripping my skin, I'm left feeling cleansed and skin primed for the next step in my skin care. I rub about the size off a walnut on my face to get a good scrubb then wet my hands and work it into this soft foam and rinse well. This is soft and skin brightening and its enough for me to use to get rid off dull patches and when I'm after a stronger exfoliation I use something else. I love this and I certainly will repurchase.

My skin is sensitive so I can't use all scrubs but I still try some that look good or if I've heard they're good. This one doesn't dry my skin because its very moisturising and makes my skin feel smooth. I've used this a lot and nearly everyday

This isn't quite my holy grail but it's pretty damn close. I feel like this is gentle enough to use every day but still exfoliating enough to clean out my pores and wash the makeup off my face. It smells really nice and the packaging is great because not a lot of product comes out all at once so I never waste any. I love how clean my face feels after using this, it's never dry or tight, but I still follow up with a moisturiser. It's a good price and I'd totally be happy to repurchace

This is one of my favourite Aveeno products! I received this as a freebie from NZ Fashion Week and I'm so glad they introduced me to it. I love how straight away it made my skin feel silky smooth, it is so gentle on the skin that I use it daily. Unlike other scrubs, it doesn't make your skin dry out. And a little goes a long way so it last a really long time. Will definitely be repurchasing it!

The first time I tried this product, I fell in love. It actually felt like I had gotten rid of all the dead skin on my face.

It has a rough texture which is what you need in the good face scrub. Not too thick or too thin, it's just right. You don't need to use much but I like to use more than needed to give my face a good clean.

I found that this bottle lasted my about a month but because I use a lot, I think that it could last the average user longer.

The packaging is very cheerful and nice to look at while I'm in the shower.

Aveeno is a very affordable range and not too hard on the pocket.

This product gave me wonderful results and I did not regret buying it. Members of my family use this as well, that's how I heard about it. I would recommend this product to anyone that needed a pick me up in their facial skin.

I really loved this scrub! I try and use it every night, in hope of scrubbing off all the toxins etc my skin has accumulated over the day, and it works wonders! I feel like my skin really is looking a lot clearer, and not only that, my scars from teenage acne are clearing up! Also, another bonus is that as I have dry/combination skin, a lot of scrubs can severely dry my skin out and inflame the redness i already have... but this product didn't do any of that! I have been using it once a day for months now without any dryness or irritation! love it!
