essano Visible Repair Facial Elixir

At nearly 87 I am certainly not deluded enough to hope for magic reduction of my multiple wrinkles but I was very interested to discover whether aged skin could reap any benefit from this product.

As I had a very quiet, home based few days on my schedule I chose to simply treat just one side of my face - so that it might be easier to detect any small benefit. Within just a few days the treated side definitely appeared a bit firmer and brighter - so I changed to an entire face routine.

After not much more than a week I can report that my skin is certainly improved - wrinkles, that had deepened and sharpened after more than a year of health issues, are now much soft and less defined , very noticeably those between nose and upper lip.

Such satisfying results so quickly - and I have to confess I do not even follow the instruction re cleanse and tone prior to use - a warm water facecloth suffices! I don't have any Visible Repair Day or Night Cream to follow up with either but have substituted Essano Rosehip Hydrating Regenerating Moisturiser.

The minute 3 ml bottle with a dropper contained the Essano Visible Repair. It is a very fine liquid with an appealing fresh aroma that applies very easily to the skin. I did feel an all-day glow at first application and day cream goes over very easily afterwards. Night cream likewise. Instructions were to use in the am and pm - however, with so little of the elixir my supply only lasted about 8 days. [I will purchase more]. The product feels like luxury, its absorption is immediate and there is never any residue. Throughout the days I used Visible Repair my facial skin felt wonderfully soft and healthy. Once I realised the product would not last the recommended 3-4 weeks I did not waste it on neck and decolletage, preferring to enjoy what I had to the maximum.

Lately Essano has really stepped up what was already a pretty good game. I like their products, though haven't always been keen on the rosehip scent. In any case, I was excited to try this product.

It comes in a gorgeous bronze box that immediately looks like a luxury product. The dropper bottle inside has the same design and looks really lovely. The top unscrews and the product is dispensed through the dropper.

The first thing I noticed about the product was the scent - mmm delicious, though I can't identify it. I can smell it when it's on my skin and I love it. The product itself is a clear light oil, that is very soft and absorbs very quickly into my skin, leaving a soft hydrated feel.

So far I have been using it around 3 weeks and have almost none left. I tend to be a bit heavy-handed with serums and oils though. My skin is looking hydrated and feels soft and healthy, but I'm not sure I can claim that it has increased skin elasticity or firmness nor reduced the depth and degree of wrinkles so far, which are the product claims. I am happy with my skin so far though, as it does look brighter and appears more energised and glowing, as it also claims it will.

Overall a lovely product, and while I can't say it did everything it said it would do, I would certainly use it again and give it a longer time to achieve what it sets out to achieve. I would wear the scent as an actual scent! I do recommend trying it.

It comes in the standard dropper bottle format, easy to squeeze up the product and decant it.

It has quite a powerful scent, quite herbaceous so it's not hideous, but if you're sensitive to scents it might be a bugbear.

I've been using this for twice a day for about 3 weeks, and it's really lovely. A treat for the skin in the morning or the night. I have about half of the bottle left so it's lasting nicely.

I love that this is a natural alternative to retinol, which can be quite irritating. I find I can't use retinol daily or for more than a few weeks without a break. With this I experienced no irritation, and I think I could continue use permanently without the need for breaks.

If you want effective skincare that's nice to use and natural then give this a go. You won't regret it.

I'm a huge essano fan - I think they've built up to being a really reputable brand, and a great challenger for the big global brands.

I really like the packaging, the branding is clear and the gold colour choice is a classy touch.

The product is a lightweight serum that isn't greasy after use. Moisturizer sits nicely on top of it, as does makeup.

I think this is a wonderful serum to add to any anti-aging routine. I don't think it's going to target very specific concerns for example deep wrinkles, but it does boost the skin's overall appearance and it is a wonderful hydrator.

So to answer my title question...yes essano can do no wrong!

The Essano Visible repair elixir is an oil-based product with non-greasy finish - The texture a bit oily to start with but does sink into the skin quite quickly and I could easily apply my moisturiser after. The product comes with a dropper that is very easy to use and no mess, but you can easily have and excess of oil on your hands as you cannot easily control what you need and use it is a bit of trial and error the first few times using the dropper.

The product has a bit of a smell (not overwhelming) however, it does leave the skin looking healthy and glowing after application.

A few drops are all that is needed for full coverage to the face and neck areas. The product is supposed to deliver instant and long-lasting hydration - It does seem to be hydrating my skin and I have now been using this product for just over 2 weeks but can visibly see the lines fading a bit. A little goes a long way - you only need one or two drops both morning and night after cleansing. Be sure to take a time to gently massage this elixir into your face and neck and follow up with a day or night cream. I just used the leftovers onto the back of my hand which seems to be prone to age spots, but I have not seen an improvement there.

The price is reasonable compared to other retinol products and seems if you shop around you can save about $8.

I do like the gold look to the product and packaging - always looks luxurious and the Black/brown combination offset is pleasing to the eye. However, instructions were a bit confusing as we read from left to right - diagram is left to right and second part right to left.... found it a bit confusing but sorted it in the end. The product claims to reduce wrinkles in 4 weeks and increase firmness in 2 weeks - More time using this will tell how effective the product is.

I have a sensitive skin but did not note any stinging or reaction - the first few times it is a bit oily, but you do get used to it.

Not sure I will recommend just yet - as I have not had the benefit of the full 4 weeks -after using it for 2.5 weeks my lines seem a bit less.

The menopause had already turned my body against me. You do what you can and eventually come to a place of acceptance... BUT... then my own skin, started to react to the sweat behind my mask! My face products started burning and before I knew it, I had rough, red, flaky, angry patches,on my face, that a dragon would be proud of. Add the insult of a few nasty pimples and I was ready to avoid leaving the house for the foreseeable future.

The very same week this was going on, this little treasure arrived on my door step.... I decided to try it anyway, I had nothing to lose and I am very glad I did because my skin loved it! There was no stinging or burning. Within the week the dryness and inflamed patches had improved. Although, it feels quite oily when you first put it on, once absorbed there is no oily residue at all. My skin felt and looked more hydrated. I really like the fragrance and yes, it is quite fluid; but the dropper means that you can accurately measure out what you need. I found patting it in was the best way to apply it and used it on my neck and decolletage too. I can't say what effect it has on wrinkles because I don't have that many 'wink wink'; I can say that the texture and hydration of my skin has improved a lot; this of course helps it look firmer. This will be definitely be staying on my beauty product list.

I was curious to find out more about what an elixir does and according to Google 'Elixirs are generally thinner than serums but usually contain a blend of oils and botanical ingredients to help hydrate and nourish skin'. This was quite spot on considering my experience with the Essano Visible Repair Facial Elixir. The first thing I noticed was the lovely smell - this product smells absolutely beautiful. The serum is light and clear and absorbs instantly. It doesn't feel heavy like an oil, but it is very nourishing and makes my skin feel silky. I use it after cleansing and before moisturising. It feels like an extra layer of nourishment that enhances the moisture levels of my skin. I didn't suffer any breakouts or irritation - I have experienced breakouts with skin oils in the past, so this was a concern of mine. I think this is very good value for money and I will purchase this once my bottle runs out. Lovely product - highly recommended.

The Essano Visible Repair might be small in size, but it is big in effect.

The beautiful bottle contains only 20ml of Elixir, but after three weeks of using this morning and night, I still have almost half a bottle left. The Elixir smells amazing - beautifully floral without being too sweet.

After the first few uses, I broke out in acne along the jawline and considered discontinuing use. However, I decided to continue using this on all areas except the chin and had no further issues.

The product claims to decrease wrinkle depth within 4 weeks and increase skin elasticity & firmness within 2 weeks. I have used this product for three weeks. I took a photo of my wrinkles at the start, and again at three weeks. There has not yet been any noticeable reduction in the depth of my wrinkles. However, there has definitely been a change to my skin - it feels so much more supple and soft. This is such a promising start and I am very keen to continue using the Essano Visible Repair Elixir to see if it really can reduce those wrinkles. Even if it can't, I'm going to use it to maintain the soft-as-a-baby's-bottom feel.

At first I thought the bottle is so tiny, and that the 20mls wouldn’t last long, but it’s such a thin oil that also smells amazing! It really lasts so long. Absorbs very quickly, and i definitely saw a huge difference in the texture of my skin within a week. My skin looks and feels younger.
