For this trial I had both the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Anti Aging Ampoules and the sheet mask so I decided to split up the treatment: serum only for a few days, then use the sheet mask and continue the serum for a few days afterwards to better see any differences between using them independantly Vs. in conjunction with one another. I already use a moisturiser that contains Hyaluronic Acid and have had a good result and no reactions so I was keen to try this out and was not disappointed. I saw a visible reduction in the pores on my nose and under my eyes which surprised me as I was not expecting it to be quite so visible so quickly so the “Filler” description of this product fits quite well. Just to clarify, it didn't shrink my pores but it plumped up my skin and gave them the appearance of looking smaller than normal. I was able to wear my makeup just using a moisturise and powder base rather than also using a primer beforehand. The serum was quite smooth and went on very smoothly and absorbed easily only taking a few minutes before I was able to put on my moisturiser afterwards. Despite the small size of the Ampoule I was surprised at just how far the serum went as I was able to do my face, front and back of my neck and even down onto my shoulders without running out. You would not need to use any more than what was provided inside the Ampoule per day despite its size the product is so easily spread you would get all of the areas you would need to. Just snap the top off and your good to go for the day.It did not have an unpleasant scent and no fragrances added to agitate my sensitive-dry skin At $45 however I might keep this one to the once in a while usage but well worth the treat as it made a significant enough difference to my skin to be worth the spend. I might even be tempted to buy one for a friend.

Tips: Tip: in order to get the serum out of the lid part of the Ampoule I found holding it on an angle and gently tilting it up slowly to be the most effective way to get the product back down into the bottom half so you didn't waste any by spilling when opening
I was lucky enough to be selected for a trial of these wee beauties. I was quite sceptical at first as there are so many drug store anti aging products out there that seem to do a lot of nothing for the money. I have oily-combo skin prone to nasty acne breakouts so I'm always a bit hedgy about products that make hydration claims as this often equates to greasiness for me. The packaging for these is sleek and stylish and I liked the single dose ampules. The ampules are easy to use, I did have the odd issue with product getting stuck behind an air bubble but it was easily fixed by popping the bubble and not tipping the ampule completely upside down. The serum feels lovely on the skin when it goes on, it's quite silky and it absorbs completely in a very short time. There was ample product in each ampule to cover my face and neck with a generous layer. I noticed immediately that my skin felt firmer after just one ampule. After a couple of days I noticed a difference in my fine lines under my eyes, the skin looked less crepey and firmer. Overall my skin felt soft and really well hydrated without any greasiness or breakouts which is a huge deal for me, most of the oil control products don't provide that really moisturised feel.
Tips: I found I preferred using this at night. I did try using one in my morning routine and while it absorbs quickly and completely I found my makeup separated and broke up that day. I poured the product into my palm and dipped my finger in to apply a generous slather to my under eye area first and then rubbed my hands together and applied to the rest of my face and neck.
The L'Oreal Revitalift Filler Anti-Ageing Ampoules had some work to do. Just days before starting the 7 day routine, I had instagramed a selfie, my face feeling tired and looking worn out. I'm in the perfect target market for the Ampoules, being 40+, but had low expectations. The packaging is quite lux, displaying the Ampoules clearly, outlining it is a 7 Day Intensive Replumping Treatment with Pure Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5 on the front, the rear has a face map with info on the results of a clinical independent study. Claims of skin being tighter after 1 ampoule and revitalised, firmer and bouncier after 7 ampoules. Upon opening the package, there is a small 3 step how-to-use with small diagrams. The product - You have to flick the top of the ampoule in order to 'release' the product into the main vial. This was the biggest downfall, and I'll explain later. Once this step is complete, you snap off the top part that you've just flicked, and dispense the product. It's a clear, silken fluid that applies easily and absorbs well. There was no reaction at all, which was great given I have a lot of broken capillaries across my cheeks. There was plenty of product to cover the entire face generously. It takes a little while to absorb in, and so even though it mentions in step 3 of application that normal skin care can be applied after it absorbs, I found it didn't absorb enough for me to do so in the timeframe I had before bed. Results? After using for 3 days, I noticed that my skin tone looked more dewy, and that the redness was actually less noticable. My skin felt springier. By Day 6, the skin on the sides of my face felt smooth as silk, and everything looked shinier. By Day 7, the hollows under my eyes were reduced, and my skin no longer looked tired, in fact, I'd go so far to say it looked fresher and younger. I took photos of Day 1 and Day 7, and while I can't put into words the change, the difference is noticable. My skin looks and feels hydrated, is remarkably smoother to both touch and look at. My skin definitely feels revitalised, bouncier and firmer, as it claims. I would like to know how often one could do a 7 day treatment, as it's certainly something I will do again, but there is no information on the packaging explaining or advising in this regard. My major grip with the product is the ampoule package itself. I hurt my fingers trying to flick that product in the main part of the ampoule - one flick and it turns to bubbles, and you end up waiting and waiting for it to release down. Be prepared to get frustrated with them. But don't give up. It's a good product. In fact, I'd be tempted to say, for a department store product, it's great.
Tips: Don't pour all the product out onto your fingers or into the palms of your hands! There is plenty too go around, so tap the ampoule onto the backs of your hands after, and smooth over. It really hydrated and smoothed them out!
I had never seen this product and was blown away at the effect they can have in just 7 days. I wish I had taken a photo before and after because it does exactly what it says it will - my skin was SO smooth and gave me the intense hydration my skin needs in winter making it look fresher. I even had comments from work colleagues about how great my skin was looking. Easy to apply and in the morning you skin feels incredible.
Tips: I came home from work, too my make up off and applied the ampoule so it had a few hours to absorb before applying night cream.
L'Oreal had me with the packaging - blush metallic purple. It comes in a lovely box displaying the ampoules.
There's not that much information on the pack - especially for a new kind of product format. But 7 ampoules. Promised results in...7 days. I figured it out.
I used these after cleaning, on damp skin. Each vial contains a generous amount of product for one use - I got my face, neck, decolletage and hands out of each one.
Flicking and snapping the vial were the worst parts of this product - flicking hurt my finger (big ups to nurses flicking injections on the daily!) and snapping was just annoying - I had to find somewhere to put the wee lid, which had product coming out and then shake the vial onto my hand like I was trying to get the last of the ketchup from the jar.
The product soaked into my skin leaving no residue. It felt like it had hydrated immediately. I followed with day cream.
By day 6 my skin was looking incredible - I had the facial glow constantly and my skin was left dewy and healthy looking.
I've actually stashed the last ampoule for a bad skin day, when I feel I need the boost!
When I see these in store I'll definitely be looking to buy again - they're just so, so good!
Tips: Do not drink or inject without alcohol....haha this is the actual warning on the pack and I confess it made me laugh.
I chose this amazing product to be my 500th review as I love it so much.
The ampoules came in a BBBE and I was excited as I love L'Oreal products and these seemed particularly special. There are 7 in the pack to be used one daily for a week. The ampoules are small and easy to use. Just flick the top to move the product into the bottle, then snap the lid off and tip the product into your hand. Then rub it into your skin.
The product itself is clear and gel-like in thickness. It applies and absorbs easily. It feels sticky for a minute but once absorbed, tightens the skin, making it feel fresh and tight and younger. It does do what it says it will do, which is to make skin tighter and more supple. I really wish it came in a big bottle so I could use it for much longer. My skin really benefits from it. I like that it has hylauronic acid and vitamin B5, and can see the difference it makes to my skin very quickly after use. I can't say the longer term effects are obvious but the short term effects are.
I do recommend trying this, it is very good.
Tips: Apply to clean face and neck, then follow with moisturiser once fully absorbed.
When I read the word 'acid' my mind quickly jumped the gun and thought about the bad sort that can melt and burn skin. Once I stopped and thought about it I was quite intrigued to read more and find out the benefits and reasoning behind using an acid on skin. After much reading and research I was sold on the idea of an at home non-invasive cosmetic procedure.
I got these in my most recent 'New Discoveries' BBBE. I usually don't stick to a beauty regime for long so 7 days of treatment sounded too good to be true. The product comes in little vials which is actually a tad intimidating using an acid out of a vial seems very 'Disney Villain' storyline. Nonetheless on I continued with the regime. My skin was in desperate need of an injection of moisture and plumping.
I actually stuck to the entire 7 days in a row too, proud moment! You flick the tip of the vial as instructed and tip/drip on to your face and rub in gently using circular motions. Now for me I feel that there is far too much product for the amount of coverage so you are left with a super moist face until it is soaked in to the skin. I can actually smell the acid, although not acidic in smell it smells very chemical but not unpleasant. It is thicker than I thought it would be in consistency. It feels like a thin facial oil almost.
It has been 10 days since starting this journey. I am very pleasantly surprised with how much I love this and how easy it is. My skin is far more plump and hydrated just from looking at it. My under eye area is not as sunken in and tired looking and my skin has a bright appearance. My skin has gratefully accepted all the moisture on offer to allow it to become far less dry and even. Honestly though for $50 a pop I'm not sure I would be willing to pay that for what other age-defying products can achieve. You be the judge, I am a believer!
Tips: Cleanse first!
I trialed these for 7 days and day 2 I noticed my skin looked brighter and that gave me the confidence to wear a bare face. I feel like there is so much product in one ampoule, enough for 2 applications and so I used the remaining on my neck, hands and feet. I also wasn't sure whether to wash it off or leave it on but I looked it up on the Internet and you are to leave it on. After day 2 I started breaking out, nothing really bad but It put me off. Just little pimples on my cheeks, somewhere I don't usually get pimples. I really liked trialing these though! But not for me.
Thanks BR for giving me the chance to trial this product. I was a bit skeptical at first that this serum would do as it claimed to as there are so many wonderful ones on the market that take sometimes months to work. I noticed a difference after about 3 days of using the ampules. The major difference being that a very deep wrinkle between my eyebrows was somehow less obvious. I finished the 7 day trial today and my skin is soft and very smooth to the touch. I will absolutely be recommending this product to my friends as it really does what it says it will but at a much lower cost than many others that work in a similar way. L’ Is often on sale so a bottle of this could work out a lot cheaper than the RRP but I’m not sure if you can buy the ampules in stores. I wouldn’t purchase the ampules again as each one contained a lot of product and I found myself wasting quite a bit of it as when I applied the whole amount it didn’t sit too well under my makeup. Once I used a little bit (and a little does go a long way) it sat beautifully on my skin. Thanks again Beauty Review for giving me the opportunity to try this out as I can see myself using this as part of my every day routine.
How cool is it that ampoules are finally coming to the NZ market? I've seen French beauty gurus rave about their concentrated, skin-goodness power but I've never been able to try them! After using these consistently for seven days, I have noticed that my skin has more bounce. It feels more supple, and just generally like its winter thirst has been quenched- finally! The intensive treatment has done what it said it would. A single ampoule contains enough product for a morning and evening application and it's liquid enough that'll cover your neck and chest as well. The consistency is runny, but not at all sticky, and it soaks in nicely after 30 seconds or so. I applied mine just after cleansing, as my first moisturising product. It was absorbed quickly enough that I didn't wait too long before following up with a serum. There's no fragrance that I picked up on and the ingredients list looks simple enough that there's probably nothing in there that will irritate sensitive skin. The packaging is sleek, and it fits in nicely with the 'cosmedical' approach L'Oreal seems to be taking with products in this line. I followed the dispensing advice for the ampoules, giving them a good flick before snapping off the lid, and I found that the product sometimes needed a little more encouragement before it'd flow easily. The thin row in the cardboard box would tuck neatly into any bathroom draw. In all, I love the idea of being able to purchase a seven-day intensive treatment for my skin. It's not something you'd necessarily always include in your routine but it couldn't have come at a better time in the middle of this cold Southern winter when my skin was properly parched! What a treat, thanks Beauty Review, and well done L'Oreal.
Tips: This would make a great gift for someone who wouldn't necessarily treat themselves to a bit of extra skin pampering!
