Vo5 Shine Spray Review

Didn't really see the hype in this product. Wasn't too impressed. I have fly aways I thought it would help with sadly no.

I really liked this v05 product was easy to use and did the trick I normally use it when having my hair up, I love their bright pink bottle, it's great for when you want that wow factor as it makes your hair not only shiny but also helps with any fly always to help leave your hair looking perfect. You can either use it before styling or if I'm running late I just give it a quick spray over to finish it off

I love using a finishing spray on my freshly styled hair, but it's often difficult to find one that doesn't leave it feeling weighed down or sticky/greasy. That was until I found this little spray. This has quite a strong, perfumed scent to it so I tend not to spray loads around. However, to get the 'tame' and 'shine' the can claims, you don't need to spray a huge amount anyway so as long as you don't go mad with it, it doesn't tend to overpower any perfume or spray you might be wearing. And this does seem to tame and add shine to my hair without weighing my hair down or making it look/feel greasy, which is really all I'm looking for. It also lasts me a good 3-4 months when using it every week day, so for 3.95GBP (approx.) it's well worth the money.

I bought this product hoping it would make my dry fly away hair look shiny and more hydrated. Unfortunately it just made my hair look incredibly greasy. i only put a tiny amount in and it just looked gross. Left a lot of residue in my hair and when i read the ingredients i found out it has heaps of alcohol in it. So probably drying in the long run. Just wasn't right for my hair.

I've repurchased this several times after realising my intial frustration with it was based on the fact that I thought it was a hairspray - it's not. It doesn't HOLD your style, merely tames frizz and flyways and lends a shine to your hair. The heat defense aspect never hurts either.

This spray comes in a gloriously girly pink pressurised spray bottle with a clear cap and gold and white lettering.

The spray itself dispenses as a super fine, super light mist. It can disperse quite easily because of this so don't spray it too far from your head!

It has a light, sweet scent which dissipates readily enough and doesn't clash with other scents you might be rocking. It dries without leaving residue - both the sticky and the crunchy types.

Because it's not a set and hold spray you can actually brush, restyle etc your hair with it in - I look at it as a little bit of good hair game you can spray on when you need it. Works better on dry hair, as it leaves a lovely silky finish to hair.

The one con - it's a tiny size. I know it's only $7.99 but if there were a decent sized one available it would work out more cost effective (although I'd still buy this one for my travel bag!)

VO5 has been an old time favourite of mine and I find the Shine Spray is wondefully light and not a heavy oil sheen. It leaves your hair with a glorious sheen but I dont think it would be at all suitable for people with straight hair as it may leave it looking oily. It can be a little difficult to come by as not all of the supermarkets appear to stock it.

Bought this along with the shampoo and conditioner when it was on sale in the grocery aisle.

Not a bad product! I prefer this to an actual hairspray: you don't get the cruncy-ness like you do with hairspray but it still controls your hair somewhat. The scent is not too strong and I like the size can as you can throw it in your handbag for a touch up during the day. Cute packaging and sprays as it should.

I don't think it gave my hair enough shine for me to buy it again for that purpose solely. Rather I would buy it again as an alternative to actual hairspray. Pretty good product.

I purchased this on a whim, as I often do when persuing the supermarket aisle. This was so affordable and I straighten my hair, and often lack shine, so it seemed like it could be a great product.

I use it on dry hair, before straightening. It's nice and light, and doesn't make my hair crunchy or stiff. I really like this, because it is not only a heat protectant but also a shine spray so it cuts down on the amount of products I have to use to get my hair looking nice. I also have fine hair, so the spray is great and stops my hair getting weighed down.

It does add a good amount of shine and I suppose it protects my hair from heat - my ends always looked neat and tidy but it is hard to tell if they're actually protected.

Love this, and wish it came in a bigger can!
