Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Review

This is a gorgeous liquid lipstick it slides on nicely and its quite pigmented so will last for a few hours. Dries down nicely and is a little drying but that's typical of liquid lipsticks. After eating and drinking i did need to retouch a little but it's minimal. I do think the drawback is its price as there are some liquid lipsticks out there that are the same quality and cheaper. The packaging is very cute and I understand why people would want this. Overall lovely lipstick just not worth the price for me

I tried this liquid lipstick when I was just starting into makeup. I like how it is so intensely pigmented and it helps enhance your makeup. I also like the packaging of this lipstick because it looks luxurious to me. The tip of the lip applicator is also very soft and it easily glides on my lips!

The only downside about this lipstick is that it dries really easily on the lips. It starts to feel creamy at first but then it will start drying out in a few minutes which ended up my lips looking a bit cracky!

I received a travel size liquid lip when I brought my palette from beauty bay and had never tried ABH liquid lips so I was quite excited mainly because it's a high end brand so my thoughts were " this should be pretty good" also keep in mind when reading this review liquid lipsticks have not been my thing for a few years now but I used to love them! I did not love the formula this I mostly because I do prefer a more hydrating formula now but this just made my lips look a tad but like a crusty butt hole just clung to the dryness and did not want a bar of my inner lip at all. I then used when I preped my lips a bit better exfoliate and put some lip balm on foe hydration and it looked a bit better but still not great. This did however last a good amount of time on the lips, had great pigmentation and the colour is beautiful but personally I just didn't like the dryness its just not a product for me.

I have this lipstick in the shade Crush. It's a nice new shade but it tastes kinda yuck and it gets all over my teeth which I don't usually find. I do generally love this brand but this one was a miss for me I'm afraid

I’ve bought the shade milkshake online and it’s so much darker on me than on the pictures, like at least 3-4 shades darker, not sure what’s going on with these google pictures and swatches. I need lip balm underneath all liquid lipstick or my lips get dry and wrinkly, same with this one, it lasts a few hours on me, but I need to touch up, otherwise the middle parts on my lips fade and outer lines start drying out. I always start with lip balm when touching up and then pat a little bit on the middle of my lips and spread them out with my finger and wait until they dry. It’s a bit of a chore, so I don’t reach for my liquid lipsticks much, although the unexpected darker shade works surprisingly well for me.

I've purchased and worn the persimmon colour in this range, The product is creamy and very pigmented, Once the lipstick settles it drys into more of a matte ( but not too dry). It lasts on the lips when eating and drinking. There is some transfer but more is less with this product.

I have the shade sepia, and because I quite pale it does look like a very dark brown on me, but I have no issue with the colour. The packaging and the applicator is just your standard clear tube and doe foot. The formula is quite thick, so feels quite heavy to apply and does take time to fully dry down to matte - if it ever does. I notice after a little while it can start to crumble on the inside of the lips, it is not the most comfortable to wear so after a couple of hours I would have to take it off and reapply.

Overall I don't hate this lipstick, the colour is unique and strong, and I use a similar shaded creamy lippy on the very inner part of my lip to increase the comfort and wear. But If you are looking for a lipstick that is comfortable, low maintenance, and long lasting - this isn't it.

Allison How cool they named a lipstick after me, so only natural that I buy it, right? This is described as a dusty rose. Must be very dusty as it pulls very brown on me. My one I had was also a dud and didn't have a stopper on the top of the tube, so when pulling the wand out, half the product came with. Not cool. Lasted a few hours, but after the wand mess, this quickly went for a long walk to the bin.

Lovely This is a much better colour on me than the above and this has managed to survive many lipstick culls. It wears for a good six hours, less if eating greasy food. Like any matte liquid lipstick, this is very, very drying.

Looking forward to getting some more of these at some stage!
