I received one of these lipsticks in a BBBE box and was keen to try this. The packaging is stylish and looks great in your make up bag. The texture of the lipstick is very smooth which makes it very easy to apply. It also wipes off quickly and easily if you manage to get it on your skin around your mouth. I find that you need to put on one coat then blot with tissue and then put on a second coat and re-blot with tissue, otherwise you end up leaving lipstick all over coffee cups or children’s faces if you kiss them! The colour is natural and the product really seems to nourish your lips which is nice. It is long lasting colour, only needing more applied once during the day or for the evening. It comes off easily with micellar cleanser or a wipe. Great product although at such a price I’m not sure I would purchase again. Would be a 5/5 at $20.

Tips: Apply two coats, blotting with tissue in between for long lasting colour.
I got the shade LUSH in the Beautiful Christmas 2018 box. This is my first product to have tried from the brand. Packaging is plain back, matte, with the logo on top of the lid. This shade is a browny/peachy colour with glitter. I have pigmented lips so this doesn't completely cover them, has a more natural look. Smells like normal lipstick. I like to wear this when I want a subtle colour on my lips for a no makeup day. At that $40 I wouldn't repurchase it, I feel like I could get the same colour and lasting wear for a fraction of the price.
UPDATE: Smooth application, great to wear on its own. Quite hydrating feels nice on the lips. Not heavy or sticky.
I tried to get into wearing lipstick so I could wear this. It's pretty nourishing, and also has the pinkish colour, not too shiny after applied and lasted okay on my lips. I wasn't blown away but it did what it said it would and I love that its a natural NZ brand, lovely mat black tube that feels nice in your hand. I use the lip protector version of this on the regular.
My sister won a gift pack of these lipsticks on Facebook. She gifted me one of these lipsticks. I first heard of living nature from Beauty Review . So far I’ve tried a serum from Living nature and loved it . I like support New Zealand brands.
Packaging comes in a plain black container has a matte finish on it with the living nature design on the top of the lid. I recieved the shade Laughter. Laughter is a pink colour. Consistency is creamy with no scent or flavour.
When I wear it feels soft and comfortable. I notice that it seems to transfer easily with eating and drinking. Needs touching up here and there.
Overall the quality of this lipstick is good. I’m sad because I’ve finished my lipstick . I’d happily look into purchasing some of these lipsticks in the near future.
I have not long opened this product and despite review tips saying you should trial for a bit before you write a review..the minute I tried this I loved it. The packaging is simple but sweet and was eye catching to me. The lipstick is a gentle shade, the initial application was everything you want in a lipstick It doesn't feel like it will slip from my lips (however I would be very keen to try their lip pencil). Its moisturising and long lasting. I could put this on and not worry how it looks or if i need touch ups. Love, love, love.
Tips: Like the title says...its a must have
I love everything about this product. I am so lucky to live close to the Living Nature outlet factory and showroom and so I can pop in and see products and new items. Their lipstick was a treat I bought myself several years ago and I have a couple of shades as my favourites. They are easy to apply and I like the fact that I do not have to re-apply until after a snack or lunch. The colour remains true and constant through a full morning's work. I feel as though there is a moisture component within the product and my lips are being cared for and dried out. The colour choices are wonderful. Names also give you an idea of the colour, e.g. 'Warm Wood'. The matt black housing of this product is tactile and very smooth.
Tips: Don't leave any lippy in a car in this form as the heat can make it less firm to apply
The living nature brand of lipstick has to be my favourite. My favourite shade is the pure passion shade. I find it stays on well & whether I'm having dinner out with hubby or sipping wine with the girls it stays on strong and the colour lasts. The colour is constantly getting me comments & make me feel like a queen so it's a real winner in my make up box.
For any of you's that don't know, I am a massive lipstick junkie and have a rather large "pink" collection of lipsticks. Nothing like the shade "Laughter", which is a darker pink with slight blue undertones with a hint of shimmer. Laughter applies super smoothly which is due to the nourishing waxes and it's beautifully pigmented with natural pigments.
I was absolutely delighted to find this in my NZ Brands 2 Best Ever Beauty Box in the shade Laughter! I love natural organic beauty products and makeup. Living Nature is a higher end certified natural brand. The packaging on this tube is a rubberised one with the logo at the top and the named and the sticker with the name in the exact color at the bottom. The lipstick is moisturizing it feels like applying one of those waxy lip balms, I definitely plan on reaching for this over winter. The ingredients in the this lipstick are certified natural but it's mainly waxes and plant oils. It does have beeswax and carmine so not a vegan lipstick if you were wondering, at least the shade Laughter isn't. Laughter is a cool toned nude pink. The site describes it as a "true pink natural lipstick which has a slight blue undertone and a hint of shimmer". I don't notice a shimmer when I apply it, it looks pretty matte om me at least. Now I do love the look of this one me. It was love at first application. It looks cool toned against my complexion that has a yellow undertone. It's good cool toned pink nude for me. I'm actually really happy I got a more nude shade because here's the one big con for me at least- this lipstick fades. No not in say, three or four hours or of course after eating. It virtually disappears from my lips in like two hours! Two hours which I didn't eat just and just had a few sips of water here and there. In fact I did go for about two hours without drinking water to test this product and it still was almost completely faded at the two hour mark. Cheaper lipsticks have lasted longer on me, lipsticks at the forty dollar mark have lasted even longer on me. Now if I just apply it like several swipes, I'll get less than two hours. After a little over an hour I'm wondering where it went. If I apply and blot and reapply then I get about two hours, maybe three in some very rare cases. But do that to a lipstick that's half the price of this one and you get about three to four hours. Do that to a lipstick at the forty dollar price point and depending on if you eat or not you may get almost six hours. See what I mean? So although I do like the color, it's moisturizing, it's pretty, there's no nasties, I don't think I'm going to be repurchasing this when I finally do use this up or be interested in any of the shades that aren't nude from their lipstick line- unless they reformulate them to last longer. I do like to wear this at home when I feel like a touch of color but can't be bothered to do a full face of makeup and it feels like beeswax lip balm with more color saturation than a tinted balm, so those are the days I reach for it.
Tips: You really want to use a liner, apply and blot, apply blot and apply and a bit of loose powder on top because these lipsticks are probably some of the quickest fading lipsticks I have come across. I would recommend starting off with the nude/lighter shades if you are determined to buy these and check the staying power before going for the darker and brighter shades.
I've found my perfect lipstick, it doesn't last long but its worth every minute. I have this in 5 different shades. My favourite colour is 14 orchid Bloom, its my perfect shade especially for summer It feels natural and organic beautiful and creamy. It sets well and feels feminine. I'd say it lasts for an hour or two
Tips: Put a bit of foundation on your lips first to help it set. She still has these colours in new packaging
