I got these in the shade Creme Brûlée and Maple Blondie. Creme Brûlée is my favourite, and perfect for a nice neutral option that goes with any eye look. I don't typically wear a lot of lipgloss, because I hate the sticky feeling most of them have, but this one isn't too sticky at all. And its nice and shiny!

Love these glosses! Bought Maple Blondie and Cherry Cheesecake online and love them both!
They are both really nice colours and there is a wide range of shades to choose from, The applicator is soft and easy to apply. I love to layer this with lipstick of use it with a light lip liner. Occasionally I will just wear it on its own if I'm going out briefly. It is a really smooth and creamy texture and I love the smell. Recommend 10/10!
I bought Madeleine (nude beige) and Red Velvet (bright rich red) from Farmers (Queen St) last month and I've been using them more than I had expected I would!
The packaging is visually appealing with bright colours to match the shades of the product. They're quite a lovely addition to my makeup collection breaking up the sea of black and gold lipsticks. They smell like caramel toffee and is probably one of my favourites scents on a lip product - I didn't realise I had one but this one is it!
They're the same height as the Dose of Colours liquid lipstick so perfect for traveling. They come with a doe foot applicator which allows for precise placement of product. I really love the formula; it goes on silky smooth and is not tacky or sticky - if anything it makes me want to press my lips all the time, it just feels lovely!
As with any gloss the longevity isn't the best however my lips do stay hydrated well after the gloss has gone. When I wear the gloss on its own, there is a faint stain left behind but more so with Red Velvet than Madeline.
My favourite way to wear the glosses are over the top of a lipstick - it just makes my lips appear more plump. When I'm not stuffing my face or drinking the gloss lasts a good 2 hours.
I would recommend to those looking for a hydrating gloss and a bit of colour however I do advise to check out the colours that would suit you (i.e. not all the nude colours are suitable on my chocolate skin).
Absolutely amazing lip glosses. My lips feel soft and smooth while wearing them although their not too sticky there creamy and amazing!!! They also smell delicious, like Dunken Donuts!!!!!!!
All over instagram I've seen this Nyx brand. Its an American drugstore brand that seems to be quite popular amongst make up artists. I've had this line on my wish list for a while now and I've been wanting to give them a try. I was very fortunate to win a Nyx prizepack online. Almost everything I had been wanting to try is in this pack.
The packaging came to me fully sealed. I opened it up to find that I was given Tiramisu. I like how the packaging identifies the type of coloured gloss. This packaging is made of plastic , has the cool Nyx design on it with a brief descrpition of what this lip gloss is like. I open it up to find a wand with a soft applicator sponge. The texture of this gloss is slightly sticky. This gloss smells like sweet caramel . So yummy. The colouring of this gloss is a nude. On my lips it looks very opaque.
When I apply this with this sponge applicator it feels smooth on my lips. I can smell the sweet caramel scent and try to stop myself from eating it lol. It doesn't last very long with eating and drinking and you will need to apply more on.
Overall its such a cute gloss. From the pakaging through to the scent. I'm not really a gloss person but I would definately use this one. I think at eight dollars its fairly priced, I think I've seen it being sold for more than this price online. So far I've gotten plenty of uses out if it. I'd happy buy it.
These can be easily mistaken for the matte creams even when opening packaging until you swipe it onto your lips is when you realise the formula is different but different doesn't mean bad or no good. In this case different means GOOD. It comes out on a doe foot applicator & switch of this across your lips leaves a nice sheen of colour this colour is pigmented glossy but not tacky or sticky at all. So different right ? It does feel like butter to the lips without any slippery or stickyness. It's not a balm either more lipgloss lighter then lipstick but has a nice shimmer to give your lips a Lushious effect.
My heart may have skipped a beat when I bought these from a lovely on here. NYX had always been just out of reach for me. I was beyond ecstatic to have a couple of these babies finally in Red Velvet and Raspberry Tart. Red Velvet is a dark intense red/crimson that is described perfect by its name. Raspberry Tart is a purple/fuchsia colour. The tubes they come in are the colour of the butter gloss itself which appeals to the eye.
They come with a sponge wand applicator to make it easier to get even coverage and so your fingers remain clean. The only thing that annoys me about that it I can't open it to get right to the bottom of the tube once I start running out.
The consistency is rather sticky but I can get past that because the colour on my lips is gorgeous! I didn't expect the colour to be so vibrant. Usually when it's a gloss it's more of a washed out version of what it shows but this is pretty true to what you see.
I love to wear these on days when my lips could use a little moisturising and when lipstick just isn't doing it for me. They leave my lips feeling soft and smooth which is a bonus. The only problem I have personally is they don't last on my lips long enough. I get that they are glosses but I would like a little more wear out of them. I actually like to wear these over lipsticks I have to give it an extra punch of colour and a new depth.
All in all, I think these are a great alternative to lipstick and if you like gloss. They give you a little burst of colour while not being too in your face like lipstick can often be. They are definitely worth the money and I am now on a mission to get them in more colours to complete my set.
Tips: Wear over lipsticks with the same kind of colour pigments to give them a shine and also a new depth
Absoloutely love the NYX range of lip glosses. A friend used these for me as a wedding makeup trial and I will be using them for sure on the day. Bright funky colours and I found that they stayed on without smudging. She ended up using two colours to create one colour for me and they blend perfectly without any mess so I was super happy.
I have 10 of these glosses and love them all, a staple gloss in my personal make-up collection. They all have a glossy formula and are not to sticky or uncomfortable to wear. Very creamy and have a doe foot applicator tip for ease of use. Highly recommend these glosses, cheap, and good quality.
These glosses are my favourite. These are the only lip glosses I live because their not very sticky and their very pigmented so can we worn by itself. It also look nice on top of lipstick as well but I tend to wear it on its own. The only down side is that the lip gloss doesn't last too long so has to be reapplied after a few minutes but that doesn't bother me. There are so many colours in this collection and I love them a lot. I have 8 butter glosses in my collection
