I really really really wanted these to work... I bought a couple of these to try and do a little nail art.. and it was a disappointment! The tip is WAY too think to have a nice crisp line. I tried to use it just for French tips however the polish just didn't come out smooth enough. I don't believe its worth its price!

I always get given nail art stuff for presents as I do mine all the time, nothing compared to good old polish! I religiously wear acrylics & these just don't compare. They're hard to apply, raise at the edges, & no designs I have seen I haven't been able to get done in the salon. Bit disappointed 'cos they're a great price!
I was really excited to try one of these but unfortunately the results were not what I expected. This did not do what it said it would. The pen was really hard to use and the liquid was completely the wrong consistency, since it is a water-based formula it was quite runny and it rubbed off straight away even with a top coat. Overall the results were not as good as I expected, I thought this was going to be a really great product for French manicures but it all rubbed off and looked really messy.
The Nail Art Pens looked so cute and nice and cheap, I had to get one! I Painted a cool pattern on my nails and it looked so cool! The paint came off so fast I couldn't even show my friends what my nails looked like. I thought maybe it was beacause the polish was wet so I did it again. Making sure it was dry I gave it a light scratch and, boom! It came off again! It took me so much time to do and it was really upseting :(
Tips: Don't even bother putting a top coat on.
These looked like heaps of fun so I couldn't help but buy one to give it a go. Have to say that I was disapointed. It seemed to take ages to get colour into the pen tip, and the silver colour was hard to seewhen applied. The colour never seen to dry and just wiped off. Unfortunatley won't be buying these again.
I bought this to do a halloween nail art I was wanting to try... I have used nail pens before but they were long gone. So I saw these on the shelf at a good price so I thought why not (instead of paying more for another product I know would have done a great job). So I couldn't wait to try it out... it just looks awesome in the packet!
So I started on my already to go painted nails... Hmm Nothing coming out of the pen tip... kept trying... and trying eventually got to unblocking tip (easier said than done) finally got some flow! I restarted nail... hmm stopped again (repeat this about a dozen times before I said sod this!) what did apply came straight off after waiting ages for it to dry.
Highly disappointed in this, really really hoped I was on to a good thing.
I love nail art now that I have finally stopped biting my nails and can paint and decorate them. They did work, just not very well. and they are so expensive!!! I could buy so many nail art pens that would work better on ebay for not much money! sorry I just don't see this product becoming very popular at all.
Tips: Look on ebay/trademe before you splurge on something that really isn't worth it!
Bought the white as a quick and easy French mani tool, but unfortunately it didn't cut the mustard. I found it easy enough to use (although it has since leaked/dribbled all over itself) however the colour was faint and almost chalky in the way it wore/wiped off. I experimented with different thicknesses, top coats, base coats or lack thereof, but unfortunately nothing helped. The topcoat made the colour smudge (no matter how long I'd let it dry), but going without a topcoat meant it rubbed off far too easily. Love Sally Hansen nail treatments and polishes, but this one wasn't their usual high standard.
I have brought I number of different colors to try out as I love nail art and these looked simple and easy to use but are far from twas highly disappointed with these product was hard to use and poor coverage.
This is such a great idea for nail art, however I have found that the pen can sometimes be a bit challenging to use, as the amount of product used is hard to control. Once you get it working, however, you can get a really nice and pro look without much effort. I have used the silver and white pens, and they both look cool over a bright base coat. Overall, I quite like them:)
Tips: use the pen on paper first so that the flow of nail enamel becomes steady, and so you get used to the feel. Also, shake it well before using it. And, ALWAYS USE A TOP COAT over the nail art pen... otherwise it rubs off and smudges (learnt this the hard way)
